Our dear brother Steven Hammond passed very peacefully from this life on 2-1-21, surrounded by his family. The things we only know now by faith Steve now knows by sight. By the gospel assurances we are confident that Steve has been received by our Savior into paradise and has been made perfect in holiness. ---Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.--For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed with our habitation which is from heaven, if indeed, having been clothed, we shall not be found naked. For we who are in this tent groan, being burdened, not because we want to be unclothed, but further clothed, that mortality may be swallowed up by life. Now He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who also has given us the Spirit as a guarantee.--So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord. For we walk by faith, not by sight. We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.- -2 Cor. 4-16-5-8 NKJ-

Most of you remember the news story about the Oregon ranchers Dwight and Steven Hammond. They lost their grazing permit for the ranch back in 2014. The Bureau of Land Management denied their application after the ranchers were convicted of arson in 2012, which they both served prison time and paid a sizable fine. In 2018 President Trump issued a full pardon of the Hammonds. Recently, three environmental groups filed lawsuits against the BLM to block the renewal of a grazing permit to the Hammond ranch. Andrew Langer, President of The Institute For Liberty, will join me to discuss the issue. Joe Biden is very popular among black voters, especially in the southern states, but Donald Trump continues to win over black voters – according to a Morning Consult poll – and many are starting to feel that the 2020 Presidential Election could be decided by the black vote if the choice is Trump vs. Biden. Raynard Jackson, Founder and Chairman of Black Americans for a Better Future, will join me to talk about it. Don't forget about the Edwards Notebook and the Veteran's Tip of the Day! All of this and more as time allows. Listen live, join the chatroom, be a part of the show.Tapp into the Truth

We start off the show with some poetry:Incident by Countee CullenNext up we have and installment of Holy Shit where we take a look at (and listen to) the radio show Fortress of Faith and their list of questions to help figure out whether or not "Your Muslim friend is a terrorist".  It would be a funnier list if it wasn't being taken so seriously by the shows host (and presumably his listeners). For our In the News segment on this episode, we take a closer look at the family that is truly at the center of the Bureau of Land Management occupation and subsequent debacle out in Oregon...the Hammond's.  Ammon Bundy and his group, Citizens for Constitutional Freedom, may have grabbed the headlines in the corporate media, but, the real victims in this case are Dwight and Steven Hammond.  They were re-sentanced back in the fall of 2015 and given longer jail sentences under the Anti-terrorism and Effective Death Penalty Act of 1996.  [Click to Listen]
