In a special investigation on a "revolution" that has taken place over the past three years, Haaretz reporters Yarden Michaeli, Matan Golan and Yaniv Kubovich detailed the push to restore and drastically expand Israeli presence in the northern West Bank that was part of former Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's Gaza disengagement plan in 2005. On the Haaretz Podcast, Michaeli discusses how the settler movement and far-right politicians have spent the 20 years since the disengagement took place planning how to execute their "return" to four West Bank settlements located in the largest contiguous area of Palestinian population in the area. With the ascent of the most far-right government in history in 2022, members of the movement have used their power and influence in what is essentially "the settlers' government" to "return big time," Michaeli said. In the newly published Haaretz investigation, "Undoing History," Michaeli and his team reveal how 18 new settlements and eight new army bases are cutting through the largest contiguous Palestinian population in the West Bank. The comprehensive effort includes military deployments, new bases and checkpoints, road construction, land expropriations, the displacement of more than 40,000 residents from three refugee camps and the terrorizing of daily Palestinian life in what senior military officials warn could destabilize an already volatile region. Every aspect of the plan, Michaeli warned, is "bad news" and "harmful" to the Palestinians living there, and that the infrastructure in place "will be very hard to remove" – undermining the Oslo Accords and the possibility of a two-state solution. Every organization is told they need context for AI to work. Almost none of them know where to start. The answer has been sitting in their metadata all along — but most CDOs haven't connected those dots yet.
Stealing land is an American tradition, but these days it isn't just the buffalo being driven off a cliff; it's everyone. Data centers have sprouted into existence across the country, against the will of the people, draining energy and water resources from the local communities. Meanwhile, Bill Gates is systematically acquiring farmland at a record pace, while his investments in synthetic meats go belly up. ICE was also building two dozen detention facilities across the country into its own version of FEMA Camps. It appears that Big Tech and The State are in an active war against the American people, and trying to destroy their land in the process.---Macroaggressionswww.Macroaggressions.ioMerch StoreLink Tree ---Video ChannelsRumble | YouTube | Brighteon---Activist PostNewsletter Sign Up---AudiobooksHypocrazyThe Octopus of Global Control---Support Our SponsorsReplace Your Mortgage: www.WipeOutYourMortgageNow.comGround Luxe Grounding MatsC60 Power | Promo Code: MACROChemical Free Body | Promo Code: MACROWise Wolf Gold & SilverLegalShield: www.DontGetPushedAround.comChristian Yordanov's Health ProgramThe Dollar VigilanteNesa's Hemp | Promo Code: MACROAugason Farms

In this episode of Careers Over Beers, I sit down with environmental health and safety experts Kristen Meghan Kelly and Tammy K. Clark to discuss the rapid expansion of AI and hyperscale data centers into small communities across America. We examine who is driving these projects, the enormous financial interests involved, how land acquisition and permitting processes often unfold outside of public view, and why many local residents feel they are learning about projects only after critical decisions have already been made.Kristen and Tammy bring decades of experience in occupational, environmental, and industrial health and safety. Kristen is an Air Force veteran, a whistleblower, senior industrial hygienist, and environmental specialist with more than two decades of experience evaluating environmental and public health risks. Tammy is an OSHA environmental health and safety professional, expert witness, and industrial safety specialist with more than 20 years of experience in occupational and environmental health. In this special episode we discuss:• AI and hyperscale data center expansion• Water consumption and impacts on local resources• Noise, light pollution, and quality-of-life concerns• Potential impacts on agriculture and livestock• Power demands and infrastructure challenges• Community organizing and citizen opposition efforts• Cases where residents successfully influenced project outcomes• Alternative technologies and approaches that could reduce environmental impacts• Western Sedgwick CountyWhether you're hearing rumors of a proposed data center in your town or simply want to understand the infrastructure powering the AI revolution, this conversation offers a perspective rarely covered in mainstream discussions.

On today's show we take a deep look into universities, and education more broadly with Tristan Ahtone, Andrew Herscher, and Robert Warrior. We focus on a critique of land grant universities, which were built on land granted by the federal government. What we learn is that lands were stolen from Indigenous peoples through violence-based treaties and seizures. These 57 universities have used wealth derived from those initial acts of theft to buy more property, expand holdings, and enrich themselves. In contrast, we see the continued harm these universities do to Native peoples. This harm comes what Herscher calls “non-memory,” which creates knowledge that distorts and omits historical truths and impedes upon Indigenous futures. We talk about the deep damage non-memory does to education for all, and the ways people have fought back to retrieve, restore, and grow knowledge through scholar-journalist activism like the Land Grab University project.Tristan Ahtone (Kiowa) is Editor at Large at Grist and one of the foremost journalists covering Indigenous affairs in America. He previously served as Editor in Chief of the Texas Observer and Indigenous Affairs editor at High Country News. His investigations have been honored with a George Polk Award, an IRE Award, a Sigma Award, a National Magazine Award nomination, and investigative awards from the Gannett Foundation. A multiple Richard LaCourse Award winner, Ahtone was also named Journalist of the Year by Covering Climate Now in 2024. A past president of the Indigenous Journalists Association and a 2017 Nieman Fellow, he is a co-founder of the Indigenous News Alliance.Andrew Herscher's work endeavors to bring the study of architecture and cities to bear on struggles for justice, democracy, and self-determination across a range of global sites. He is the co-founder of a series of militant research collectives, including Detroit Resists, Settler Colonial City Project, and the We the People of Detroit Community Research Collective. His scholarly work include Violence Taking Place: The Architecture of the Kosovo Conflict (Stanford University Press, 2010); The Unreal Estate Guide to Detroit (University of Michigan Press, 2012); Displacements: Architecture and Refugee (Sternberg Press, 2017); The Global Shelter Imaginary: IKEA Humanitarianism and Rightless Relief (co-authored with Daniel Bertrand Monk, University of Minnesota Press, 2022); and Under the Campus, the Land: Anishinaabe Futuring, Colonial Non-Memory, and the Origin of the University of Michigan (University of Michigan Press, 2025). The multifront assault on rural America is here. From industrial solar and wind farms to massive AI data centers, discover how state governments are partnering with foreign developers to bypass local zoning laws and monopolize our land. I'm joined by investigative journalist and American Land Rescue Fund President Alexandra Fasulo joins to expose the great rural land-grab. Alexandra explains how shadow agencies like New York's ORES are aggressively rezoning prime agricultural land, stripping local towns of their rights, and handing control over to foreign entities. This isn't just about the failures of "green energy" or the massive electricity consumption of localized data centers — it is a calculated move to centralize land ownership, devastate local farming, and eliminate the decentralized autonomy of the American property owner. If you care about food security, property rights, the continuity of rural America, and the future of your local community, you cannot afford to miss this. Learn more about your ad choices. Unless you frequent the same activist email listservs I do, you may have no idea that, completely aside from the Trump administration's assault on public lands, there is a bill quietly making its way through congress that would privatize and clearcut over one hundred thousand acres Alaska's Tongass National Forest.Seems like a pretty obvious bill for environmentalists and allied congress people to oppose. But there's a twist. The bill, called the Alaska Native Landless Equity Act, or simply the “Landless Bill”, would transfer the land to Alaska Native Corporations, and is being billed as a form of Land Back by Alaska's congressional delegation. But is it? Or is this just a disguised form of extractivist colonialism?I truly did not know what to make of the Landless Bill, so I invited Tlingit elder and activist Wanda Culp and Joshua Wright from the Legacy Forest Defense Coalition to talk me through why they oppose this bill, the short film they made about it, and other attempts to privatize public lands in Alaska.I would love to hear what you think! User data land grab is costing companies far more than they realize — in diminishing data value and in the brand trust they are quietly destroying while racing to seize consumer data without consent or compensation. The Real Price of the Data Land Grab — and Why It Will Backfire Across industries, companies are spending hundreds of millions to lock in first-party data assets through mergers, acquisitions, and platform capture — treating data as the "new oil." But NVIDIA's Jensen Huang has noted that AI technology's cost drops 100,000 times every ten years, and that within a decade, AI-generated synthetic data will dwarf human-generated data. Joanne Z. Tan points out here that the companies acquiring today's data at premium prices are, in many cases, paying real diamond prices for what will soon be worth far less. Scholars Ulises Mejias and Nick Couldry, in their book "Data Grab: The New Colonialism of Big Tech", frame this extraction as a power imbalance in which personal data becomes raw material for corporate profit — without the knowledge or consent of the people generating it. During colonialism, at least, those dispossessed knew what was being taken. Today, most consumers have no way of knowing. AI Is Getting Smarter — and It Rewards Trust, Not Extraction AI search systems are beginning to synthesize trust indicators — customer reviews, media sentiment, authoritative publications, and executive reputation — into signals that may soon function as "trust scores" determining brand visibility and recommendation outcomes. Authentic authority, built through consistent thought leadership, is now the currency AI systems trust most. Joanne Z. Tan illustrates with a case study of The Ivy Group to show how a brand with few Google reviews, built on genuine thought leadership, was ranked #1 by ChatGPT among fierce competitors — proof that AI is already outsmarting unethical data players. The most valuable data asset any company can hold is not what it seized — it is the trust that causes customers to willingly share their data, advocate for the brand, and create the authentic content ecosystem that AI systems reward. Big Tech is coming for rural America's land, power, and water to fuel its hyperscale data centers. I'm joined by energy expert and journalist Robert Bryce, who has been chronicling the massive, bipartisan grassroots rebellion fighting back against the data center land-grab. The push for cloud-based AI and hyperscale data centers is draining America's resources at a record pace — requiring unprecedented amounts of electricity and water while offering little return on investment to local communities. It's the green energy grift all over again, but exponentially worse. From Round Rock, Texas, to Ravenna, Ohio, everyday Americans are uniting across the political spectrum to stop multinational tech giants from unnaturally rezoning agricultural land and destroying local grids. We dive into the shocking poll data, the reality of noise pollution, and why this fight is about much more than just energy — it's about protecting our homesteads from the ultimate Big Tech surveillance state. Welcome to the very first episode of Data Debrief, the companion show to Driven By Data: The Podcast, where hosts Kyle Winterbottom and Catherine Dowden-King sit down every Thursday to unpack Tuesday's episode, share what's been on their minds, and discuss what's really happening across the data and AI market. In this debut episode, Kyle and Catherine reflect on Tuesday's conversation with Kevin Cassar, diving deeper into the themes that sparked the most discussion, and a few that didn't make it into the main episode. They cover:Why the data conversation is shifting from delivering ROI to accelerating it, and what that means for data leaders still stuck in output-factory modeThe growing pressure on organisations to be seen doing AI, regardless of whether it's actually delivering value, and why the optics of inaction are now costlier than wasting budgetThe internal land grab between CDOs and CIOs over who owns AI, and why the answer is often more cultural than technicalWhy rolling out enterprise ChatGPT to an entire bank doesn't necessarily mean your organisation is embracing AIKevin's people-first philosophy, and why understanding where your team actually sits on the AI adoption curve matters more than having an aggressive strategyThe evolving role of the data professional: from coder to builder, from report-puller to AI quality controllerPlus, in their new Thoughts of the Week segment, Catherine raises a question that's hard to shake: are we over-optimising our downtime? From boiling water taps to washing up, she makes the case that friction isn't always the enemy, and that some of our best thinking happens precisely when we're not being productive. Kyle agrees and admits most of his best ideas arrive at 3am or are written on a shower panel.Like and subscribe wherever you listen, and if you've got a question or topic you'd like Kyle and Catherine to cover, email the team at community@orbitiongroup.com

On the latest episode of the Data Center Frontier Show podcast, DCF Editor in Chief Matt Vincent speaks with Melissa Kalka, M&A and private equity partner, and Kimberly McGrath, real estate partner at Kirkland & Ellis, about how capital, power, and deal strategy are changing in the AI data center era. Their core message is clear. Capital is still flowing into digital infrastructure, but the market has become far more disciplined. Investors are no longer simply chasing land or growth stories. They are digging deeper into platform quality, delivery track record, contractual structure, and above all, power certainty. That last point now sits at the center of nearly every transaction. As AI workloads push development from 20 MW and 48 MW deals toward 100 MW, 500 MW, and even gigawatt-scale campuses, power availability has become the first screen in diligence. A site may have land and entitlements, but without credible access to power, it may struggle to attract customers, financing, or buyers. The conversation also underscores how AI has changed the asset class itself. Data centers are no longer being evaluated strictly as real estate. They are increasingly underwritten as a hybrid of real estate and infrastructure, with longer hold periods, shared campus systems, and more complex capital stacks. That dynamic is driving new financing structures, including more private credit activity, more infrastructure-style investment, and growing interest in open-ended and perpetual vehicles for long-term ownership. Powered land, meanwhile, has emerged as an asset category of its own. In a market where development pipelines remain robust and hyperscalers are pursuing massive capacity expansions, sites with large increments of secured power are drawing intense interest. Kalka and McGrath also explain that customer contracts now function as a key part of financing infrastructure. Lease and colocation agreements are being negotiated with greater attention to lender expectations, long-term revenue stability, and risk allocation around power delivery and development timing. For developers and operators, one of the biggest lessons is that structure matters early. Projects need to be organized from the outset in ways that make them financeable, investable, and divisible as platforms mature. Just as important, these deals now require extraordinary coordination across legal, real estate, regulatory, financing, environmental, and community stakeholders. The episode offers a timely look at a market moving out of its speculative phase and into a more demanding period defined by execution. In the AI era, the winners will not simply be those who raise capital fastest, but those who can align capital, contracts, land, and power into a credible path to delivery.

The conservative movement, or what is left of it, is at a generational crossroads. I break down the Texas primary vote to show that although there were some victories, conservatives still underperformed because Baby Boomers continue to support status-quo Republicans. We need a message of pro-humanism vs. transhumanism to bring in younger Republicans to a constructive alternative to the Baby Boomer GOP. Later on, I discuss the shocking reality of the AI and green energy takeover. From Ohio to Oklahoma, state governments are handing over your land and spiking your utility bills to build massive data centers, wind farms, solar arrays, and carbon-capture pipelines. You are footing the bill for a transhumanist, ultra-processed future. It's time to draw the battle lines: Pro-Humanism vs. Transhumanism. Learn more about your ad choices. It was one of the worst disasters in modern U.S. history… and then it just disappeared from the headlines.I'm talking about Maui — Lahaina. A hundred and two lives lost. More than 2,200 structures destroyed. And damage estimates in the billions... forever changing that island. And now we're two and a half years later — and this is the question we're asking today:What the hell happened to Maui? Why is rebuilding still moving like it's stuck in wet cement? Was land seized in a massive and grab? Were directed energy weapons used to dispace thousands of people. Was weather manipulated in order to create a perfect storm? Why does it feel like the people who lost everything are being pushed out permanently

As traditional search behavior evolves, Zeb explains why loan officers and agents must think beyond SEO and start positioning themselves inside AI recommendation engines. He walks through the economic forces behind the shift, why early adopters have a finite window of advantage, and the practical steps professionals can take now to become the name AI suggests when buyers are ready to decide. Briscoe Cain joins Brian Nichols to reveal his campaign for the new Texas 9th District and why "pragmatic" politics is fueling the socialist agenda . Texas State Representative Briscoe Cain exposes the "Doge Committee" scam in deep-red Texas , details the specific legislation banning China and foreign adversaries from buying American soil , and explains why conservatives must adopt a "survival" mindset to defeat the enemies of the West. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has launched an investigation into a development project in Kaufman, Texas, linked to a Dubai-based company, over concerns it may become a 'sharia city.' Paxton stated that while on American soil, everyone must obey American laws, and his office will thoroughly investigate the matter. The probe was initiated after reports suggested that up to 20,000 foreign nationals could be moving to the area. Representative Lance Gooden expressed concerns about the development, particularly regarding the inclusion of mosques or religious buildings. This investigation follows a similar case where Paxton sued to stop the construction of EPIC City, another planned Muslim community in northern Texas, alleging securities law violations. The situation raises questions about foreign investment and local control in Texas communities, and the potential impact on the region's cultural and legal landscape. Paxton's actions have drawn both support and criticism, igniting a debate about religious freedom and national security.
The new space race is beginning; It's not just between nations, but between commercial giants, shadow governments, and emerging players staking claims to orbits that are becoming dangerously crowded. The world is entering an era where control of the orbits will define global power. What's fueling this revolution isn't just rocket science. It's economic scale, exotic propellants, and a surge in miniaturized, high-functioning satellites. But with this explosion comes risk: orbital debris fields, collisions that could cripple constellations, and the looming specter of space warfare. In this replay episode of The Aerospace Executive Podcast, I'm joined by Tory Bruno. Formerly the CEO of United Launch Alliance and now President of Blue Origin, he brings an unmatched perspective on the forces reshaping access to space. We cover the radical shifts reshaping orbital real estate, why small launch companies are failing despite demand, and why directed energy weapons in space might be the future of global defense. You'll also learn: Why the true space cost revolution isn't in launch, but in satellite architecture The hard truth about the “300% drop in launch prices” myth How mini satellites are creating billion-dollar constellations and traffic jams in orbit The quiet arms race: Anti-satellite weapons, Kessler syndrome, and debris fields that could end entire constellations Why lasers may be the only real answer to hypersonic threats Why methane propulsion is suddenly viable and what finally cracked the code Why the biggest competitive edge isn't rockets, it's people Guest Bio Tory Bruno is the President and CEO of United Launch Alliance (ULA), the largest rocket launch company in the world. Since taking the helm in August 2014, he has led ULA through a transformative era, retiring legacy systems, developing the next-generation Vulcan rocket, and expanding the company's commercial and national security portfolio. Before ULA, Tory spent over three decades at Lockheed Martin, where he began his career as a propulsion engineer and steadily rose through the ranks to become a senior executive. He has deep expertise in advanced propulsion, hypersonics, missile defense, and launch systems, and is widely recognized as one of the aerospace industry's most accomplished and forward-thinking leaders. For 20 years businesses fought to win Google search. Billions were invested in SEO, backlinks, and ranking tactics. Now that entire system is being replaced. Trump has apparently backed off from his threats to seize Greenland and impose tariffs on Europe after NATO leaders paused an EU-U.S. trade deal and pushed for negotiations. Jimmy argues the retreat is likely temporary, suggesting Trump still seeks long-term access to Arctic security arrangements, military bases, and Greenland's mineral resources. He and Americans' Comedian Kurt Metzger frame the episode as evidence that NATO and donor interests—especially the military-industrial complex—shape U.S. policy more than public promises. The discussion also criticizes NATO's role in global conflicts and suggests that a true break with NATO would be politically unlikely despite Trump's rhetoric. Plus segments on Candace Owens' number one unanswered question for Erika Kirk, Thomas Massie insisting the Epstein files will see the light of day, the catastrophe awaiting the U.S. economy over the national debt and Pam Bondi bragging about prosecuting Americans for speaking out against Israel. Also featuring Stef Zamorano!
The President's takeover bid for Greenland continues as he threatens new tariffs and declines to rule out using military force. Then, two army battalions have been put on alert for possible deployment to Minneapolis as protests continue. Plus, one month past the deadline and the DOJ has yet to release most of the Epstein files. Laura Barron-Lopez, Susan Glasser, Gillian Tett, Michael McFaul, Rohit Chopra, and Barbara McQuade join The 11th Hour this Monday night. HEART OF DARKNESS AND THE OHIO COMPANY LAND GRAB Colleague Professor Robert G. Parkinson. The book's title draws on Joseph Conrad's Heart of Darkness to describe the bewilderment and horror inherent in the 18th-century American backcountry. In 1754, George Washington retreated through Oldtown, Maryland, the home of the Cresap family, following a failed expedition against the French. Washington and the Cresaps were partners in the Ohio Company, a speculative venture claiming half a million acres of Native land near the Forks of the Ohio. This era was marked by imprecise maps and border disputes between colonies like Maryland and Pennsylvania, creating a chaotic environment where land speculators operated like rival tribes. NUMBER 2
From Wisconsin to California, Indigenous nations are reacquiring land. It’s part of a global “landback” movement to return stolen Native lands to tribal control. Is the restoration of land just symbolic, or does it represent a real step forward on the path to restoring Native culture and tribal sovereignty?
