With an upbringing of Jazz, Soul, Disco and Pop A.Gee graduated to everything in the Urban music scene, Hip Hop & RnB, Funk & Soul, Disco & Boogie, Drum and Bass, Breaks, Dub Step, Electronica and Fidget House. All of which are influential to any of his sets. A Hip Hop head at heart, anything he puts his name to he always puts in 100 per cent passion. A.Gee has been putting his turntable dexterity to good use since 1994, initially entertaining crowds at college and house parties, quickly progressing to clubs and bars all over the country and Europe. In 2003 with a DJ partner he came 4th in the DMC UK Team finals. Summer of 2010 he was one of the DJs who beat the DJ relay World record with BBC 1Xtra along with fellow DJ and producer legends such as, Mark Ronson, Trevor Nelson, Benji B, MJ Cole, Mark Rae, Wooki and the Rampage crew. A strong contender in the Hip Hop Mixtape world A.Gee's Mixtape skills are been sought after by Worldly read magazines, record labels and artists to mix their material. Alongside his DJing, running an award winning online record store, rapshack.co.uk and mixing and presenting the weekly Rapshack Radio Show which is downloaded from all over the world; Australia, USA, Canada, Brazil, Eastern Europe, Russia, Japan, Far East Asia, Africa and Ireland to name a few, A.Gee has been a part time teacher at Colchester Institute teaching DJing skills, music business and online music promotion to First Diploma and National Diploma levels, the first of its kind at the college. In early 2010 he was introduced to the Subbass DJ Academy in London where his teaching skills are once again teaching the next generation of DJs for the specialised Urban DJ courses.
