Right now he is an executive coach for entrepreneurs. He has been to 40 countries around the world and has had thousands of clients. He turns 6 – figure entrepreneurs into 7 – figure entrepreneurs with executive life coaching. A lot of people are stuck charging premium amount of money. That means they have hard times closing sales, they have lack of confidence. How to be a good public speaker: • You need to be very confident in the subject matter. • You need to be able to handle social pressure • Be comfortable when it comes time to negotiations • The hardest time to make a sale is when you need it the most. Some entrepreneurs have many ups and downs, because they don’t have predictable income. The solution to that is to charge recurring fees. That will get you more security and as a result, this will boost your confidence on sales calls. It is very hard to be confident on what you are worth if you don’t have 20 leads of similar quality lined up for the next 2 weeks. How to overcome the fear of getting on a call with potential prospect? The #1 thing when is comes to cold calling is getting on the phone. Business owners are willing to pay enormous amount of money just to get someone on the phone. Some people think that they can build a website, setup a landing page, they will not need to talk to anyone and all of a sudden they will build a business. In fact, it’s much harder to build a business, especially if you are trying to sell low ticket products. You need to get in a situation where getting on the phone is fun and enjoyable. After you do several phone calls and you go through rejection a few time, you will stop caring about that. You don’t have to take rejection too personally. You are doing a disservice to yourself and to your client if you are not pushing it as hard as you can. At the end of the day, if you are providing value to your clients and if you can transform their lives, you have to do whatever it takes to close them. Many people don’t start a business and prefer to stay in a 9 to 5 job, because they think that starting a business is risky. In fact, it’s not that risky as it seems. Finding your weaknesses and strengths is a very important part when starting a business. Usually, the things that people are making fun of you for are your biggest strengths. The only way you can become successful is to take the risk. If you want freedom and to live the life that you want to live, there is a lot of risk and responsibility associated with that. It is very important to have a mindset of going in and jumping in. Go with the lowest commitment possible. Don’t hire people full time for 40 hours a week. Start with small projects and hire freelancers who are willing to work a few hours a week. There are genius entrepreneurs who are don’t have any confidence at all. They think that it will take them years to learn how to behave on call, how to hire people and so on. You have to find your strengths, learn what you are good at and learn how to harness those strengths. Don’t focus on getting better at your weaknesses. Spend more time improving the things that you are good at.
