In Part Two of our decoding of Mel Robbins, things take a practical turn. But before we get to preoccupied with all that, why don't you pause, take a breath, and, in the context of your body, write down ten ways to make a bad situation worse. Your focus should then be on doing the exact opposite! For example, if one of your answers is to not listen to the podcast, then start listening, right now!Next, before hitting play, let's work on building a daily manifestation practice. Write down five things you want, then sit in your body, picture yourself doing all the annoying steps, and flood yourself with the feelings of future success. This needs to happen every day.One more thing: now imagine someone who is one million per cent behind you and ask them what is the best way for you to consume the podcast. They can be alive, dead, or fictional. Greek messenger Gods are permitted. You can even imagine your mother, if you like, but better. Alternatively, why not meet your future self at the front door and ask how listening to the podcast helped them to become so wise, slim, and successful? There are other options too. You can manifest a legion of ancestors, reconfigure a difficult afternoon by getting sushi, and even transcend the limits of possibility with an elephant murder themed visualization! You might think this sounds a bit like (too much) planning, mental rehearsal, and just trying to be a bit more positive. But it's much more than that. These mental activities are actually powered by very hard science. Ignore the tiny samples, one-tailed tests, and suspicious p-values... that all sounds like negative thinking. And now you are finally prepared so choose your technique, release the brake, and visualise the download button. Your future self is waiting. They have a cool scar and some bad news about your future children.LinksThe Mel Robbins Podcast: “World Leading Psychologist: How to Manifest Anything & Create the Life You Want” with Dr Cassandra VietenCassandra Vieten: Imagine That: Transform How You Think, Feel, and Live with the Science of ImaginationInstitute of Noetic Sciences: Origins StoryHershfield, H. I'm officially locking in for the next six months and I want to bring you along for it.In this episode, I'm talking about what made me choose six months, what I'm actually changing in my life, and what “locking in” really looks like beyond just going to the gym, eating better, or being more productive. We're also getting into why we're so good at waiting for the perfect time to start over, Monday, next month, our birthday, January 1st, and what actually happens when you stop waiting and decide that your life is changing now.GET THE WORKBOOK: stan.store/respectfullygabby/p/the-identity-upgrade-workbook-gi3vywsrFollow for more on social media: www.instagram.com/respectfullygabbywww.tiktok.com/@respectfullygabby Grab a copy of my book: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FBN2NS9P

Send me a some feedback! What if the fears and behaviors keeping you stuck aren't random—but protective programs running beneath your awareness? In this episode, Mike introduces APPs: Adaptive Protective Programs, unconscious patterns created to protect us from pain but which can eventually become limitations.Through a deeply personal story, Mike explores how his own APP—“love equals pain”—shaped his relationships, business, and ability to receive love and acceptance. He explains how identifying and releasing these programs can help us stop organizing life around what we're trying to avoid and finally begin playing offense. Key Takeaways1. APPs Are Adaptive Protective Programs APPs are unconscious patterns designed to protect us from experiences our nervous system has associated with pain.2. APPs Keep Us Playing Defense Fear of judgment, rejection, abandonment, failure, or visibility can keep us focused on avoiding pain instead of creating what we want.3. Yesterday's Protection Can Become Today's Limitation An APP may have helped you navigate an earlier experience, but that same protection can restrict your growth long after the original circumstances have changed.4. Awareness Gives You the Opportunity to Uninstall the APP When an APP activates, the DRILL Method helps you recognize the feeling, investigate it, listen to what it's telling you, and begin letting it go.5. You're Here to Play Offense Releasing outdated protective patterns allows you to move beyond survival and put more of your energy toward expansion, creation, and the life you came here to experience. Notable Quotes“We play life to avoid something instead of to create something. That is playing life on defense. It's basically protecting ourselves from something instead of unleashing ourselves in the world.”“The nervous system has one job and one job only, and that's to keep you alive. It tries to keep you alive by keeping you in familiar circumstances because it knows it can keep you alive there.”“There was an APP installed very early in childhood that my body developed as a defense mechanism to keep me from getting hurt. And that APP said: love equals pain.”“We're not here to live our lives through these APPs and hold on to them. We are here to become aware of them, acknowledge them, understand what they were trying to protect us from, and finally let them go.”“You are not here in this meat suit just to survive until your very last breath. You are here to expand your circumstances, expand your experience of life, and experience the dream that you came here to experience.” Take the Next StepWhat APP is running in the background of your life?Maybe it's telling you not to be seen, not to risk rejection, not to trust, not to ask for what you want, or not to become too successful. The work is not to judge these patterns. It's to recognize them, understand what they've been protecting you from, and begin releasing the protection you no longer need.If this episode revealed something in you and you're ready to dive deeper into your own APPs, nervous system, self-concept, and the patterns keeping you on defense, reach out to me personally at mike@innerwealthglobal.com.Let's explore how we can work together to help you uninstall what's keeping you stuck and begin playing offense for the life you actually came here to experience.Mike's Media:Website: https://www.innerwealthglobal.com/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/mikekitkoInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/mike_kitkoTiktok: https://www.tiktok.com/@mikekitkoSubscribe to my YouTube: / @mikekitkoMusic Credit: "What's Left of Me" by Wes Hoffman & Friends
Hungry for growth and expansion? Today, I talk about what it means to call your shot and expand beyond what you can currently see! Calling your shot is more than just setting a goal. It's a decision to invest in yourself and make a commitment to becoming your best version. It requires us to step into the unknown and face resistance, because we know the expansion waiting for us on the other side is greater than we can ever imagine. Here's how you can identify where you're still being limited, open the gap between your current self and future self, and work with the energy of actual expansion. Consider this your invitation to make the decision to call your shot and expand to the next level! HIGHLIGHTS 00:00 How to expand beyond what you can currently see. 05:10 What needs to change before we expand to the next level. 11:45 Where are you still settling and playing small? 18:05 How our logical mind tries to talk us out of expansion (i.e. "the cute quit"). 21:15 What to know before you invest in yourself financially. 25:40 How to work with the energy of calling your shot. 30:30 What does it truly mean to call your shot? 34:40 Exercises to open the gap between your current self and future self. 40:50 Why you have to invest in your future version to call your shot. 46:45 How to tell if you're in growth energy or expansion energy. 51:35 Your opportunity to call your shot. 56:10 Pathways to expansion will always open when you make a decision. 1:00:45 What is resistance trying to tell you about your next breakthrough? Are you tired, stuck, or inconveniently constrained by reality? Good news: you may simply be imagining the wrong one.In Part One of our decoding of Mel Robbins, we explore the world of a self-help mogul who is also just a simple mother of three in Vermont hosting a little ol' podcast with a HUGE global impact. Together with Cassandra Vieten, a psychologist who is (apparently) one of the world's leading researchers on imagination and consciousness, Mel explains how to begin to stop reacting and start imagining, visualising, and manifesting the life you truly deserve. This will lead to self-actualised transcendence through a variety of simple-to-implement techniques. But don't worry, the universe has also put in safeguards: manifestation only works if you use it for good, such as empowering your authentic self. So please manifest enthusiastically without any concern. In the episode, you will learn about the delicate art of rebranding common sense into complex (proprietary) theories and be shocked to discover that mystical intuitions are a core component of any fully holistic scientific research. Mel's HUGE media business, meanwhile, manifests itself as an intimate personal friendship with each of her millions of listeners.Expect the usual decorative scholarship, a new Five Second Rule and insights into how to Let Them and Let You, reality tunnels, obstacle courses, a thousand supportive women, lighthouses, tapestries, and the therapeutic potential of fire-breathing dragons. All of it is very hard science, as they repeatedly remind us.Chris and Matt attempt throughout to give the self-help genre a fair-minded assessment. They even concede that wearing colourful socks and being a bit less miserable are probably harmless, but ultimately their dark reductionist souls are beyond salvation.Part Two is coming next week. In the meantime, try to visualise it clearly, align your energy, and not to put one foot on the brake as you hit the download button.LinksThe Mel Robbins Podcast: “World Leading Psychologist: How to Manifest Anything & Create the Life You Want” with Dr Cassandra VietenA Bit Fruity with Matt Bernstein: “The Mel Robbins Griftpocalypse” with Princess Weekes and Kat TenbargeCBS News: Extended Interview with Mel RobbinsThe Mel Robbins Podcast: “Try It for 1 Week: 6 Small Ways to Bring Back the Happiness, Energy, and Fun”The New York Times: “Mel Schneeberger and Chris Robbins” by Lois Smith BradyUC San Diego profile: Cassandra Vieten, PhD

What if your drinking habits aren't really about alcohol at all, but about the quiet, powerful beliefs sitting beneath the surface? In this solo episode, Anna Donaghey dives into the “Pyramid of Belief”, a simple framework that explains how deeply-rooted feelings of “not enough” shape much of our behaviour, including drinking.Using lived experience and insights from Dave Gray's "Liminal Thinking," Anna breaks down how our early experiences, the culture we grow up in, and the swirl of online comparison, all reinforce beliefs like “I'm not smart enough,” “I'm not interesting enough,” and “I'm not enough, full stop.” She explores why alcohol so often becomes the go-to answer for the emotional discomfort those beliefs trigger and guides listeners through the first, vital steps to uncovering what they're really thirsty for.Highlights:00:00 Welcome & intro00:40 The "not enough" beliefs we rarely examine01:13 Why this episode isn't (really) about alcohol at first02:14 What is the Pyramid of Belief05:04 How our minds filter reality05:57 How a single shame-triggering moment forms a core belief09:03 Why you're not flawed and how “not enough” beliefs got there10:30 Anna Donaghey's own formative “not smart enough” moment13:39 The modern "comparison machine"14:20 How alcohol soothes the “not enough” wound16:15 Key question: “What is my drinking actually trying to answer for me?”16:27 Find your own “I'm not enough” belief17:47 What “I need...” before a drink reveals about your core beliefs17:59 Why pinning down beliefs (not just thoughts) is tricky18:42 Announcing a series exploring specific “not enough” beliefs19:37 None of this is your fault20:23 Resources & how to join The Big Drink Rethink community.Anna's book "What Are You Thirsty For? Send us Fan MailYou can have big dreams, a full life, a career you love, a family you care deeply about, and goals you're excited to chase—but does your body have the capacity to carry it all?In this episode of It's Hertime, I sit down with Amanda Soukoulis to talk about what happens when our ambition begins to outpace our biology.High-performing women are really good at pushing through. We override exhaustion, ignore symptoms, run on stress hormones, and convince ourselves we just need to try harder. Until eventually, our body starts asking for our attention. But the answer isn't to become less ambitious or shrink the life we want. It's to build a body that can support it.Amanda shares the health crash that completely changed the way she thinks about female performance and why symptoms like fatigue, poor sleep, hormone changes, inflammation, metabolic dysfunction, and burnout may actually be signs that the load we're carrying has exceeded our capacity. We also get into some of my favorite topics: female hormones, perimenopause, nervous system regulation, mitochondrial health, metabolic health, muscle, recovery, peptides, GLP-1 medications, retatrutide, longevity, and precision medicine.IN THIS EPISODE, WE TALK ABOUT:Why high-achieving women can be especially vulnerable to burnoutThe subtle signs your body may be struggling long before you “crash”What happens when ambition outpaces your biologyWhy you may not need more discipline—you may need more capacityHow chronic stress impacts hormones, metabolism, inflammation, mitochondria, sleep, and energyWhy adapting to stress isn't the same thing as being healthyHow nervous system regulation and recovery affect female performanceWhy women shouldn't simply copy biohacking strategies designed around male physiologyHow perimenopause changes hormones, metabolism, muscle, sleep, energy, and recoveryWhat women should know about peptides, GLP-1 medications, and retatrutideWhy protecting and building muscle is so important for womenWhy peptides, medications, and supplements can't replace the foundations of healthHow precision medicine can help us stop guessing and start listening to what our bodies actually needIf you're a woman carrying a lot right now, I hope this episode changes the question from:“How can I push harder?”to:“How can I better support the body carrying all of this?”Because your body isn't standing between you and the life you want. It's the vehicle that allows you to live it.CONNECT WITH AMANDA SOUKOULISInstagram: @amandasouksReceive a custom blueprint strategy session by reaching out via Instagram, use the keyword "Cody".Website: amandasoukoulis.comCONNECT WITH CODYInstagram: @codyjeansandersShop MixhersUse code CODY for 15% off your Mixhers order. If this episode made you think of a woman who's carrying a lot right now, send it to her. Heat can make people do some strange things. It can change your mood, cloud your judgment, and even affect the way you treat other people. Scientists have discovered that hot weather has a surprisingly powerful influence on the human mind—and the effects show up in places you would never expect. Listen as I explain what's really going on and why it's important to know. https://www.apa.org/monitor/2024/06/heat-affects-mental-health More people today say they feel their lives lack meaning and purpose than at any point in recent decades. Why? Has modern life quietly stripped away something essential—or are we simply searching for fulfillment in all the wrong places? And if purpose really is the key to a happier life, where does it actually come from? There is no better person to explore these questions with than my guest Arthur Brooks. He is a professor at Harvard Business School, one of the world's leading experts on happiness and human flourishing, a nationally syndicated columnist, CBS News contributor, and co-author with Oprah Winfrey of the bestselling book Build the Life You Want. His latest book is The Meaning of Your Life: Finding Purpose in an Age of Emptiness (https://amzn.to/4yUyVTp). If you've ever wondered what truly gives life meaning—and why so many people struggle to find it—you'll find this conversation fascinating. Every few months it seems we're told to stop eating one food and start eating another. Fat is bad—until it isn't. Carbs are the problem—unless they're not. With so much conflicting advice, it's no wonder so many people have no idea what a healthy diet actually looks like. According to Daniel Lieberman, much of what we've been taught about food is based on myths, misconceptions, and oversimplified thinking. Lieberman is Chair of the Department of Human Evolutionary Biology at Harvard University and author of Fed Up: A Hungry Person's Guide to the Story and Science of Food and Diets (https://amzn.to/4btal2d). He explains what the science really says, why nutrition has become so confusing, and how understanding our evolutionary past can help us make smarter decisions about what we eat. Have you ever worried that everyone could tell you were nervous? Maybe before giving a presentation, going on a date, or walking into an interview? Most of us assume our anxiety is obvious—but is it? The answer may surprise you. What if the thing keeping you stuck isn't your circumstances—it's your buts?“I want to get in shape, but I'm too busy.”“I want to get out of debt, but I still want to eat out.”“I want to make more money, but I don't want to do all that extra work.”In this episode, I unpack an idea from Seth Godin that I love: you can either live with your buts and accept the consequences, or turn those buts into ands.“I want to lose weight, and I understand I'll have to track my calories and get up earlier.”“I want to be debt-free, and I understand I'll have to give some things up.”The “and” is the price you're willing to pay for the life you say you want.Your buts keep you negotiating with yourself. What if the life you are living is only one version of what is possible—and every moment gives you another opportunity to rewrite it?After three near-death experiences, Masati returned with an extraordinary perspective on consciousness, identity, death, and what he describes as the hidden mechanics behind the reality we experience. In this conversation, we explore what happens when consciousness leaves the body, why he believes the traditional “life review” is actually a life relive, and how unconscious patterns from family, society, previous experiences, and our own identities may keep recreating the same reality again and again. Then the conversation takes an unexpected turn. Masati guides me through a live exercise that brings forward multiple versions of myself—the filmmaker, father, entrepreneur, storyteller, and eventually the young kid who first fell in love with movies in a video store. What followed became one of the most personal moments I've experienced on the show. We also explore quantum jumping, fragmented identities, genius and altered states, Tesla and Mozart, the nature of the timeless self, and the possibility that awakening isn't about becoming something new at all. Perhaps it is simply remembering what was there before everything else told us who we were supposed to be.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/next-level-soul-podcast-with-alex-ferrari--4858435/support.Take your spiritual journey to the next level with Next Level Soul TV — our dedicated streaming home for conscious storytelling and soulful transformation.Experience exclusive programs, original series, movies, tv shows, workshops, audiobooks, meditations, and a growing library of inspiring content created to elevate, heal, and awaken. Key Takeaways The foundation of building a fulfilling life is understanding that others' opinions do not define our path to happiness People may envy aspects of our life, but they ultimately want their own life to be the best it can be Imitating someone else's life entirely will not lead to genuine happiness or fulfillment Identifying what personally brings us joy is essential before layering on habits like nutrition, movement, or meditation What constitutes "enough" varies from person to person, and that is perfectly acceptable Inner peace is achievable when you stop fighting the battle of living up to others' expectations Practical health and wellness habits are more likely to succeed when built on a strong personal mindset foundation Visit ConfidenceThroughHealth.com to find discounts to some of our favorite products.Follow me via All In Health and Wellness on Facebook or Instagram.Find my books on Amazon: No More Sugar Coating: Finding Your Happiness in a Crowded World and Confidence Through Health: Live the Healthy Lifestyle God DesignedProduction credit: Social Media Cowboys

(#351) Fashion isn't superficial. It's spell work. This week, Zoey sits down with celebrity stylist Lo VonRumpf. Lo walks us through his own journey with style and self expression: a love letter to the five-year-old with the Hello Kitty bag. That kid is now the man dressing some of the most recognizable people on the planet.Style, it turns out, was never just fabric for Lo. It was protection. It was survival. He walks us through fashion as manifestation – a way of becoming who you're meant to be one outfit at a time. Zoey pulls Lo's numerology into the mix too, (a birthday number 3 with a double 8 life path and destiny number), tying those numbers straight into who he is and how he moves through the world. They go behind the curtain of the entertainment industry, into the real fear that comes with fame, and into how he's managed to stay grounded through all of it.In this episode we're talking about:00:00 Welcome back to The Higher Self Hotline!04:18 Little Lo and Style Origins11:49 Bullying Resilience and Empathy22:29 Breaking Into Celebrity Styling32:58 Style Numbers and Justice35:16 Fear of Fame43:27 Power and Authenticity53:03 Fashion as ManifestationStay in touch with Lo:InstagramTikTok

This is my fifth and final episode before Sari returns, and I'm leaving you with a topic that completely changed my life: manifestation. I used to think it was complete bullshit, too. But it's not magic—it's neuroscience, awareness, and getting out of your own way. In this last episode, I break down: Why fear and self-doubt are the biggest obstacles to creating the life you want The "Upper Limit Problem" and how we unknowingly sabotage ourselves How your brain's Reticular Activating System helps you recognize opportunities that were there all along The story of how Sari and I manifested our dream beach house The daily ritual I use to stay intentional, focused, and moving toward the future I want to create Thank you for hanging out with me this summer. It's been an honor, and I hope these conversations challenged you to think differently—about your cases, and about yourself. Until next time, Coach K If you'd like to explore some of the resources I mentioned in the episode, I've included links below. Welcome back!! What if self-care isn't something you do later - but the foundation your entire life is built on? In this episode of The Awakening Her Podcast, I'm sharing a powerful realization I had after taking an entire day just for myself. A day spent in nature, slowing down, nourishing myself, and reconnecting with what truly makes me feel alive. It reminded me that taking care of ourselves isn't selfish, indulgent, or something we do when everything else is finished. It's essential. When we deeply care for ourselves, we become more patient, creative, resilient, intuitive, and present. We remember who we are. In this episode, we're exploring what it really means to fill your own cup and why your next level begins with the way you care for yourself. Relfection Prompts What truly fills my cup? When do I feel most like myself? What have I been needing that I've been putting off? How can I care for myself more deeply this week? What is one small act of self-care I can choose today? If this episode resonated with you, take a moment to share it with someone who could use this reminder today. And if you're on Vancouver Island, stay tuned for Return To Self—my upcoming evening meditation experiences designed to help you slow down, reconnect with yourself, and remember who you are. After nearly a year away from HealSouls, I'm finally back and this episode is one of the most honest conversations I've ever had. This past year changed everything.I lost people I thought would be in my life forever. I watched realities I fought so hard to create fall apart. I experienced seasons of gaining, losing, rebuilding, grieving, and beginning again. Somewhere in the middle of all of it, I realized that manifestation isn't just about attracting what you want. It's about becoming the version of yourself who can receive it, sustain it, and not sabotage it when it finally arrives. In this episode, we're talking about:• Why evolution never stops, even after you've “made it”• The difference between manifesting a new life and maintaining it• How self sabotage quietly keeps us in familiar cycles• Why your nervous system often mistakes peace for boredom and healthy love for unfamiliarity• Learning to release comfort so you can step into alignment• What it really means to quantum leap• How awareness creates responsibility• Why consistency matters more than motivation• The lessons I learned after losing everything and finding myself againIf you've been feeling stuck, afraid of your next level, grieving old versions of yourself, or wondering why you keep repeating the same patterns, this conversation is for you.Healing isn't about becoming someone new. It's about having the courage to evolve into who you've always been.Welcome back to HealSouls.
What if the life you worked so hard to build isn't the life you want anymore? In this episode, I'm sharing a realization I've been working through at this stage of my life and a conversation with my mom that completely reframed it for me. I break down why I'm treating this season like halftime, reassessing what worked, what didn't, and what I want the second half to look like. I also share why knowing your individual needs and getting around the right people in the right environments help you find answers you won't find alone. Tune in to ask yourself the questions now that could change how you live your next chapter. HIGHLIGHTS The conversation with my mom that changed how I see this season of my life. Why only 1–5% of the "cool" things I've done have brought me real joy. How to treat your life like halftime and adjust your game plan. What happens when you finally achieve the success you worked so hard for, but still feel exhausted, disconnected and unsure of what comes next? In this episode, Ambrosia Carey sits down with hairstylist, life coach and retreat host Misty Jayne to unpack the hidden emotional cost of success in the beauty industry. Misty shares how paying off $48,000 of debt transformed her relationship with money, gave her the confidence to become an independent hairstylist and eventually led her to help other beauty professionals move beyond burnout, hustle and the pressure to constantly achieve. Together, they explore financial literacy for hairstylists, fear of success, decision fatigue, overconsumption and why creating more space, not adding another goal, may be the key to building a life that genuinely feels like your own. Take 50% of a GlossGenius Premium Plan for 2 months with code SUCCESSFUL Find more about Misty's Retreat HERE Join our Free 10 Day Business Challenge Key Takeaways: 1. Earning more money doesn't automatically create financial stability. 2. Financial literacy and a clear plan can give hairstylists the confidence to make major career decisions without operating from survival mode. 3. Becoming an independent hairstylist isn't automatically the path to more money, freedom or fewer working hours. 4. The instant gratification hairstylists receive behind the chair can make long-term goals and delayed rewards feel especially difficult. 5. Familiar stress can feel safer than unfamiliar peace, and how that keeps us trapped in patterns we say we want to escape. 6. Fear of success, judgment and outgrowing the expectations of others can quietly sabotage personal and professional growth. 7. So many successful hairstylists reach burnout after building the career, salon or business they thought would make them happy. 8. Decision fatigue, overconsumption and constant exposure to other people's advice can disconnect you from your own voice. 9. Simplicity often becomes the goal after success, and how to separate what you genuinely want from what you believe you "should" pursue. 10. Creating white space, changing your routine and stepping away from constant productivity can restore clarity, creativity and connection. 11. Discomfort is part of meaningful change, and small, intentional choices can help you build a life that feels more peaceful and sustainable. 12. You hit the targets. Every goal your younger self set, you cleared. But the feeling that came with it was closer to… nothing. A certain belief comes naturally with success: I earned it, so I deserve it, and having it should feel like something significant. But look hard at that for a second. Did you build your own intelligence from scratch? Your temperament? The drive you're so proud of, the one that woke you up before everyone else? Or did your genes, your parents, and someone who believed in you early on hand you the traits you credit for it all? The scientific research is unkind to the belief: The work ethic you treasure most turns out to be mostly inherited, closer to your height than to anything you made. I know that sounds like a demotion. But it isn't. Learning that you didn't author your success doesn't take the success away. It's what actually enables you to enjoy it. That took me far too long to understand, and I nearly didn't get the chance. You can earn a fortune. But you can't earn love. Press play. Show Highlights Include: A belief that will sound completely reasonable but that strangles your happiness, leaves you feeling flat after reaching big goals, and can lead to an early grave (1:57) How success tricks you into believing stories and half-truths that only exist to keep you stuck, dissatisfied, and unable to rest easily at night (4:03) Why being proud of your work ethic is little different, scientifically speaking, than your blood type, height, or hair color (8:50) The brutal realization about pride that C.S. Lewis forced me to learn (and why realizing the fatal flaw of pride can set up the rest of your life for unbridled joy) (11:19) How to free yourself from your "Scoreboard Mind" that's driven by envy by understanding what the true opposite of envy is (18:00) For more about David Tian, go here: https://www.davidtianphd.com/about/ Feeling like success in one area of life has come at the expense of another? What if the biggest obstacle between you and the life you want isn't your circumstances but your brain? In this episode, Daniel Alonzo sits down with transformational speaker and mindset coach Nurhan Ora to explore why so many people remain stuck in careers, relationships, and routines they've already outgrown. After immigrating to the United States from Azerbaijan without speaking English, Nurhan built a remarkable career with UNICEF Australia, the Red Cross in Spain, and the tech industry before making the courageous decision to leave corporate life and pursue her purpose. Together, Daniel and Nurhan discuss the neuroscience behind fear, why the brain craves familiarity over happiness, and practical strategies for overcoming limiting beliefs, building mental resilience, and taking meaningful action. Whether you're an entrepreneur, professional, athlete, or someone navigating a major life transition, this conversation offers valuable insights into creating lasting personal and professional growth. In this episode you'll learn: • Why your brain resists change • How fear keeps you trapped in familiar situations • The power of visualization and mental rehearsal • Why successful people embrace uncertainty • How intuition differs from overthinking • Practical ways to build confidence and take action • Why taking risks is essential for long-term success If this episode inspires you, be sure to subscribe, leave a review, and share it with someone who needs encouragement to take the next step toward the life they truly want.
