In news, a Buffalo man got three years probation for falsifying DMV records after hitting pedestrian on Elmwood. The man had claimed his tinted windows were medically required. And a Buffalo woman who was in the Erie County Holding Center is facing new charges, accused of assaulting a deputy in the facility. In sports, Niagara Falls Americans' Matt Barr was drafted by Minnesota Twins. He went in the fifth round - 149th overall. The rest of the team celebrated later by beating the Niagara Ironbacks, 5-2. The Americans host the Batavia Muckdogs tonight at Sal Maglie Stadium.
