The National Weather Service calls for sunny skies today with a high near 88. Overnight will be mostly clear with a low around 70.  In news, a Buffalo man got three years probation for falsifying DMV records after hitting pedestrian on Elmwood. The man had claimed his tinted windows were medically required.  And a Buffalo woman who was in the Erie County Holding Center is facing new charges, accused of assaulting a deputy in the facility.  In sports, Niagara Falls Americans' Matt Barr was drafted by Minnesota Twins. He went in the fifth round - 149th overall. The rest of the team celebrated later by beating the Niagara Ironbacks, 5-2. The Americans host the Batavia Muckdogs tonight at Sal Maglie Stadium.

Overnight will be mostly clear with a low around 67.  In news, local gas prices dipped a bit from a week ago. $3.20 in Batavia. And $3.18 in Buffalo and Rochester. The National average is $3.15. And $3.18 in New York. In sports, the RailRiders completed a sweep of Buffalo, winning 5-4 as the Herd heads to All-Star break. The Niagara Falls Americans hosted the Elmira Pioneers for a doubleheader, losing the first game 4-3, but winning game two, 1-0.  Finally, the Pirate Festival wraps up in Olcott today. Also Art on the Riverwalk will be held at Niawanda Park today from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Americans host the Elmira Pioneers today for a doubleheader at the Barbershop. The Bisons, meanwhile, fell 10-1 to the Scranton RailRiders. They'll try again today.

The Niagara Falls Americans, meanwhile, won 12-5 over the Ironbacks on Wednesday. A Lancaster man received a conditional discharge for sending threatening texts to victims involved in high-profile case. And a West Seneca man was charged with leaving the scene of crash a that resulted in pedestrian's death.  In sports, the Bisons fell to the Scranton Wilkes Barre Rail Riders 5-2 on Tuesday. They're back at it today. The Americans, meanwhile won over the Buffalo Diesel, 3-1. And $3.19 in Rochester and Buffalo, down 2 cents and 1 cent respectively.  In sports, the Bisons finished out their series with the Rochester Red Wings on Sunday with a 3-1 loss. And the Niagara Falls Americans split a double header with the Niagara Ironbacks.

Over night, it will be partly cloudy with a low around 62.  In news, an asylum seeker from the Democratic Republic of Congo was sentenced to 2 1/2 years in prison for sexually abusing a woman in a Cheektowaga hotel.  In sports, the Buffalo Bisons fell to the Rochester Red Wings on Thursday, 14-8. They head down the 90 to take on the same team in Rochester today. The Niagara Falls Americans, meanwhile, outlasted the Batavia Muckdogs for a 2-1 win.

Overnight will be mostly clear with a low around 58.  There's really not a lot to report today as the world has shifted into low gear ahead of the holiday weekend. But we do have some sports.  In sports, the Buffalo Bisons won 5-3 over the Rochester Redwings on Wednesday. They play again today. Afterwards, enjoy the BPO and fireworks. Always a great event.

According to court records, on October 29, 2024, the adolescent offenders, caused physical injuries to the victim at Martin Luther King, Jr. Park.  In sports, the Niagara Falls Americans took a win on Tuesday, beating the Newark Pilots, 11-4. There's a chance of more rain overnight with a low around 63.  In news, local gas prices have stabilized with Batavia clocking in at $3.23, Buffalo at $3.20 and Rochester at $3.21. All within a penny of last week's prices.  Ride for Roswell raised $6.1 million for Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. Since 1996, the Ride Community has raised $86 million. The Bisons fared much better, winning 13-3 over the Iron Pigs. And a Hamburg man was found guilty of rape.  In sports, the Bisons fell 8-2 to the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs. While the Americans topped the Jamestown Tarp Skunks, 4-3.  Finally, Kenmore will kick off the annual free children's concert series on July 8.

Overnight will be potentially wet with a low around 68.  A Buffalo man pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the death of Falls man.  A Syracuse man was charged in an accidental shooting with and illegal gun.  State Police issued 766 speeding tickets in WNY during their annual ‘Speed Week'campaign. Batavia's at $3.23, up six cents. And Rochester's up nine cents to $3.21.  In sports, The Buffalo Bisons and Worcester Red Sox finished the first half of the 2025 season in a thriller, with both teams hitting three home runs. But the team from Massachusetts came out on top, 12-10. The Niagara Falls Americans, meanwhile, held on for a 8-7 win over the Batavia Muckdogs. The Bisons and Americans both return to the field on Tuesday.

And a gunman from a 2024 shooting was sentenced to 7 years in prison and 3 years post-release supervision.  In sports, the Buffalo Bills announced their 2025 Training Camp schedule and ticket information. The Bisons crushed the Worcester Red Sox, 14-1. And the Niagara Falls Americans lost to Jamestown, 14-6.

Bulera struck a vehicle on Clinton Street last August, causing the death of a passenger in that vehicle.  In sports, the Bisons lost 5-4 to the Worcester Red Sox.
