Overnight will be partly cloudy with a low around 41.  In sports, the Buffalo Sabres, won 4-3 over the visiting Washington Capitals in a shootout, bringing the team above .500. The Sabres are back in action on Tuesday when they host the Utah Mammoth.  And the Bills host the Kansas City Chiefs today. Game time 4:30. Go Bills.  If you feel like doing something non-sports related today, consider checking out the great Herbie Hancock at UB Center for the Arts tonight at 7 p.m.

The National Weather Service calls for partly sunny skies today with a high near 50. Overnight will be partly cloudy with a low around 34.  In Police News, a 36-year-old Olean man was charged with child endangerment and criminal possession of a weapon, accused of shooting at a house with kids inside.  And in Lockport, a 39-year-old man was charged with DWI after being pulled over for a license plate violation.  In Sports, the Sabres host Alexander Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals tonight. Puck drops at 7 p.m. Eleven games into the season, the Sabres are at 500 with a 4-4-3 record.  If you're looking for a fun go-and-do, check All WNY Events dot com. There's a chance of more showers overnight with a low around 36.  In news, a 31-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman were charged with child endangerment after a four-year-old child who was under their care was found walking along the New York State Thruway.  In sports, the Buffalo Sabres picked up another point but lost again in overtime Thursday night, 4-3 to the Boston Bruins.  And finally, The Outer Harbor Concert Series is already planning 2026. They announced on Thursday that CAKE will be playing the series Friday, May 29, 2026. The National Weather Service calls for rain with a high near 50. Overnight offers showers with a low around 40.  In news, Bishop Michael W. Fisher has returned from a week-long visit to the Vatican, where he met with His Holiness Pope Leo XIV  In courts and crime, a pair of teenagers have been convicted for their involvement in a shooting that resulted in the death of a 3-year-old boy and injured his sister last summer. Both are being held without bail pending sentencing.  A woman with a knife was shot by an Amherst Police Officer and hospitalized after allegedly rushing at the officer.  And in investigation into meth sales by the Erie County Sheriff's Office led to the arrest of a 35-year-old Sardinia man.

Overnight will be mostly clear with a low around 70.  In news, a Buffalo man got three years probation for falsifying DMV records after hitting pedestrian on Elmwood. The man had claimed his tinted windows were medically required.  And a Buffalo woman who was in the Erie County Holding Center is facing new charges, accused of assaulting a deputy in the facility.  In sports, Niagara Falls Americans' Matt Barr was drafted by Minnesota Twins. He went in the fifth round - 149th overall. The rest of the team celebrated later by beating the Niagara Ironbacks, 5-2. The Americans host the Batavia Muckdogs tonight at Sal Maglie Stadium.

And $3.18 in New York. In sports, the RailRiders completed a sweep of Buffalo, winning 5-4 as the Herd heads to All-Star break. The Americans host the Elmira Pioneers today for a doubleheader at the Barbershop. The Bisons, meanwhile, fell 10-1 to the Scranton RailRiders. They'll try again today.

Overnight will be mostly cloudy with a low around 66.  In news, Four teens turn selves in for breaking in to, vandalizing Notre Dame Academy and have been charged with criminal mischief and burglary, both class D felonies.  A Buffalo man was sentenced to 20 years in prison for an April, 2024 murder in the city.  In sports, the Bisons dropped their fourth game in a row on Wednesday, losing 7-2 to the Scranton Wilkes Barre Rail Riders. The Niagara Falls Americans, meanwhile, won 12-5 over the Ironbacks on Wednesday. A Lancaster man received a conditional discharge for sending threatening texts to victims involved in high-profile case. And a West Seneca man was charged with leaving the scene of crash a that resulted in pedestrian's death.  In sports, the Bisons fell to the Scranton Wilkes Barre Rail Riders 5-2 on Tuesday. They're back at it today. The Americans, meanwhile won over the Buffalo Diesel, 3-1. The Bisons fared much better, winning 13-3 over the Iron Pigs. Both teams take on the same opponents today.  If you're looking for a go-and-do today, Buffalo City Comicon is at the Buffalo Convention Center. It's got a great mix of national and local comic artists, creators, and vendors. Plus it's inside. Which is a plus for me.
