The ability to lead yourself is essential to achieving the results you want in life. By developing self-leadership skills, you can take control of your thoughts, emotions, and actions, and use them to drive your desired outcomes.
I hold a truth that we are all lucky in a way. If you are living in a free society, breathing, having some food or are healthy, you are incredibly lucky. We are all lucky, but do we take advantage of how lucky we are? How do we take advantage of all luck around us?
In the 21st century, those not open to learn, unlearn and relearn will be the new illiterates. It will occur only in your openness to being challenged - to letting go what you think you know so you can relearn what you need to know.
Saying no does not mean that you are being rude, selfish, inconsiderate or unkind. These are all limiting beliefs that make it hard to say no to something that is unfavorable. When you do not understand your values, you end up following and doing what everybody else want. If someone cross your boundaries, you should be able to say no.
If you focus on the results themselves, you deny yourself opportunities to learn. The journey will shape you to become the person deserving the goal/result. In short, do not pursue your goals for the sake of pursuing them, make the process a learning escapade.
Has it ever sounded to you like your life and everything about it is heading south: your business or job is stagnant, your personal life appears fruitless and your health, both mental and physical, is neglected. You are not close to achieving your goals or fulfilling your potential, and you are unhappy as a result of all this. This can happen to almost everyone and thus you are not alone. This does not have to be your life, you can turn it around, one step at a time. You can set yourself on a journey to better yourself. It will take a lot of hard work, a lot of boldness and a lot of discipline. If you keep going and believing in yourself and the potential hidden in you, you are going to make huge strides helping you achieve your treasured goals and achieve the best version of yourself.
How do we gain commitment? First, it is important that you review whether you are motivated enough to fully work on your set goals or not, by doing a Cost/Benefit analysis. Analyze your motivation by asking yourself these questions 1. How important are my goals? 2. What are the benefits? 3. What is the price if I don't? 4. Am I willing to make the effort? 5. Am I likely to achieve my goals?
Visualization and Imagining possibilities are not wishful thinking rather it is working with focus toward something tangible. A big picture in your mind that fuels your passions. Are you imagining possibilities for your life?

Why you will need boldness to execute your plans and how to build up your boldness
This month reminds me of thankfulness. The need to be grateful despite the circumstances. It is hard – very hard. On the same note, I needed to encourage and remind someone who is out there fighting for his/her destiny that it is not easy, it was never meant to be, but with determination and resilience, you can hack it.
Have you ever noticed how you avoid and resist pain or discomfort by trying to control it, freeze it, run from it or even pretend and assume it is not there? We have come to the conclusion that pain is wrong, should not happen or even that pain is unnatural. These misinformed beliefs fuel our resistance to pain and it's painful – in itself.
While we can't end unwanted circumstances or pain with wishful thinking, we can certainly manage our life around it by living in faith and knowing that the peace of God is available to us. Peace will help us find the strength and grace to endure. We have for so long paid attention to what is not working - the tragedies and issues and so this week, it is time to turn our attention back to the foundation of living — our spirituality.
In his book, Icarius Deception, Seth introduces something else that he calls safety zone. To differentiate, he says that the mountain climber knows when she is outside of her safety zone, feels uncomfortable about it, stops—, and lives to climb another day. Most people might think that's weaknesses – living to fight another day! The thing is, know when to oscillate between danger zone and safety zone!

We're all in a hurry. The pace of life has increased and rushing through our days—through our lives—has now become the custom. We want the whole kit and caboodle now! Faith is not based on feeling neither is it being optimistic. So, it's an encouragement to you if you're pursuing something and you're feeling like me, want to give up or want to be in control of circumstances; develop Faith, trust the process. Genuine Faith encourage people and Endures unanswered prayers. It's just a matter of time. One step at a time. One day at a time
Planning and becoming organized revolves around how you manage your time. Therefore, your attitude towards time matters. Are you a time waster who easily gets distracted, puts things off, feels guilty all the time and makes excuses? Are you a time racer who leaves everything to the last minute, misses deadlines, and whose work is never the best? Or are you the time pacer who paces their time well, is well organized, has time for fun and feels good about their performance because they know it is the best.
Planning strategically is the lifeblood for a thriving and sustainable business, however majority of men and women in these businesses are not exceling in their personal life as the enterprises they work for is. My challenge on this podcast, to you and myself included is, get down and have a clear plan of the specific thing you want. Be so specific and list what need to be done now! What need to be done this week? List them down – make them so personal, so emotional to you that you cannot risk not ticking them as complete.
Competency is one's ability to be an authority in a specified field. You want to become more authoritative? Keep sharpening your saw. Keep learning to become more competent…. ignore detractors!
Life is so precious, and it goes so quick. And so when I think about living deliberately, I think about the years of my life where I wasn't living consciously, or when I was living on autopilot. I was living in reactiveness. I was living in response to the environment I am living in. I was living according to other peoples set standards. Now I look at my life from when I decided to live a little more deliberately and more purposefully and it has been relieving for me. I now dare to live more deliberately, more consciously, and more purposefully. Making choices about where to spend your time, your money, your focus, your energy, and your resources. I dare to make choices that serves me, that serves my greater passions, and that help me build the life that i deserve and desire. And that's my hope and prayer for you as well.
One of the most significant lesson I have learnt especially from my late twenties up to now is the importance of having a ritual. For any goal you want to achieve, or desire a standard to hold ourselves up to, rituals are what will back up your endeavors. We set our goals then back them with daily routines and behaviors. Rituals define us. If you are physically fit you have a ritual that causes your fitness, if you are spiritually alert, you have a daily routine that causes your alertness. English advanced Dictionary defines ritual as ‘any customary observance or practice' I define ritual in this respect as the things you demand for yourself daily to achieve your goals. Other definition includes ‘a series of actions or type of behavior regularly and invariably followed by someone'. To achieve goals, consistency is key. Any person who is rewarded in public spends many of his years of practice in oblivion. You must develop rituals that you practice daily (…every single moment) to achieve your aspirations.
Why it is has ben hard to achieve your Goals. Sometime it is hard to achieve our goals, but with some tips, we can start accomplishing them. one by one, one day at a time.
