This week on FlashFax, Alex returns! He is finally back from his three week filmmaking course, and he's super excited to be back making the podcast. They began the podcast by discussing Valve's new Steam Deck, and how it is going to completely change the gaming world, maybe? Then, they talked about the new What If...? trailer, and Uncut Gems joining the Criterion Collection. They then gave their thoughts on Emmy nominations, including a bunch of nominations from Hamilton. They ended the podcast by talking about Loki, and answering Alex's very interesting question. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

It's week one without Alex, and Connor did alright, he managed to get 36 minutes of podcast time without him, and he's aiming to have an hour next week. It's hard to do a podcast solo! This week Connor talked about the new Borderlands Movie, Halo losing both of its Showrunners, George R.R. Martin's different ending for his Game of Thrones Books, the Hypixel Server being down, and he also rounded up all of the movies that you should go see in theaters for the rest of the year. We began with how Netflix is hosting a Witcher convention along with CD Projekt Red to highlight probably a new Witcher game and new Witcher S2 information. However, this convention is also the same day as Black Widow's release, so, we don't think many people will attend. There was a ton of crazy news, so be sure to listen to hear it all! --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
This week's FlashFax episode is a bit dry, just due to the fact that there isn't that much content. However, Connor and Alex were able to make the best of the dry spell. This week on FlashFax, the debate of Star Trek vs Star Wars is back in full force. Get it, force? But this time, Connor is trying to reason with Alex to watch something he doesn't want to in order to convince Alex that he should watch Star Trek. For news this week, they had a Marvel Roundup which included The Eternals Trailer, Marvel pushing back two untitled releases, Danai Gurira's new TV Show, and Oscar Isaac as Moon Knight. Another episode of FlashFax is in the books, and as usual, Alex and Connor get super off topic. They begin the week talking about how dry it is, which they say every week. They then dive into the news beginning with talking about a Rick and Morty spin off show. The show has mixed reviews in Alex's eyes, and Connor is still trying to wrap his head around the Rick and Morty universe. Speaking of universes, they go on a crazy tangent about movie and television universes. They then talk about Dave Filoni's new role at LucasFilm, Jon Faverau's extensive career, and dive into Knives Out. They then discuss “Rangers of the New Republic” being taken off active development, Bad Batch, and finally, a spoiler free review of Army of The Dead. In this episode of FlashFax, Alex and Connor begin talking about Agatha All Along being nominated, which it should be, as it's an amazing song. Besides the point, they continue to discuss the revival for iCarly, which Connor doesn't really have any opinion about. They then, for some unknown reason, begin to spiral and, as per usual for the podcast, begin a debate about Star Trek. This weeks debate was about whether or not Star Trek is more realistic than Marvel. We'll let you pick a side. They then continue and end the script discussing Disney's goal to obtain as many Emmys as possible. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
