This episode is so much more than just about urban beekeeping. Luke Dixon is a theatre artist turned beekeeper, and I contacted him primarily for two reasons: the first is that I needed to talk to someone on the field about the situation of bees, the second is that I was so so curious and so so eager to see a beehive and be around it for even just an hour. Missions accomplished! This episode was recorded exactly in one of the multiple communities Luke works at and where he has created a little green paradise for bees and bugs and salamanders and squirrels and I'm sure even foxes love it! Nadav Malin is a Jewish chef who studied with Tanya Gervasi at the University Of Gastronomic Sciences in Pollenzo.
