I am so grateful that you found this Podcast. This Podcast is going to help you awaken the highest version of you and allow you to step confidently into your power. I am a trauma informed Breathwork Facilitator and Coach so I will be sharing some of the tools I use with my clients. I have realized that community is key and I am here to create a community of like-minded individuals who are eager to help elevate human consciousness by first elevating our own.     15. Optimize Your Breath & Come Back to LOVE

    We always have the ability to control and optimize our breath. Your breath helps you activate your parasympathetic nervous system (rest & digest). With everything that's happening in the world right now, we get to control our breath. We get to shift out of our sympathetic nervous system (fight/flight/freeze) and access deeper states of peace. It's so easy to get caught up in what's happening in the world right now and be sucked into the chaos that's all around us. But our breath is the thing that we can always rely on to bring us back into states of peace, ease, and love. We have access to our truth when we are in the parasympathetic nervous system. When you are breathing in a conscious and continual way, you have the ability to release what's blocking you from activating and living in your parasympathetic nervous system. It's time to come back to our truth, our center, our alignment, and love. You heart has it's own consciousness. Your heart consciousness is rooted in states of love. Love for yourself, love for your neighbors, love for the planet, love for the animals, and love for all of the beings on this planet. We are all in this together.     14. How I cope with depression and anxiety

    In this episode, I share a little bit about my experiences with depression and anxiety, as well as some tools that I use when I am experiencing these sensations. If we can learn to observe the sensations that we experience rather than identify with them, we will be able to create space between the sensation that you feel and YOU. You are not the sensations or feelings that you feel. You are pure love and light. I share how spending time in Nature with Mother Earth helps me release some of these sensations. Emotions are just energy in motion. There are only 3 ways to release energy, that's through breath, sound, and movement. By utilizing these three tools, we have the ability to move the energy that we are feeling to reveal our truth that lies just beneath the sensations we are feeling. There is nothing wrong with you because you are experiencing these sensations. They are all normal and the sensations are your bodies way of communicating with you. You have the ability to learn how to listen to the messages that your body is communicating to you. I am sending you so much love.

    13. Fear, Power, and Presence

    In this episode I shared a little bit about a plant medicine ceremony that I experienced this past weekend. I shared a bit about my greatest fears, my biggest takeaways, and the power of my presence. I set myself free by allowing myself to be fully seen and fully naked. I allow myself to be fully present with every single part of myself that was activated this weekend. And I took off every mask that I thought was going to "help" me be safe. I allowed every part of myself to be fully seen, fully loved, and fully accepted by ME. I set myself free this weekend and I want to inspire you to do the same thing. You deserve to destroy every cage you've ever created for yourself. You deserve to be fully naked and allow who you TRULY are to be seen and expressed. This world needs your authentic, vulnerable, bright light. This world needs you FREE. Give yourself the best gift you ever can by taking off your masks and standing naked in your most vulnerable state. Give all of your parts love, attention, and presence. Ask for help. Speak to your fear. And allow your fear to guide you.

    The word "trauma" has such a heavy charge to it. But what trauma actually is, is anything that's too much, too soon, or too fast. Our bodies store all of our memories and our emotions. When we breathe in a conscious and continual way, we are oxygenating these cells that are storing our memories and our emotions that we have suppressed. The breath and the body do the work without your mind having to do or think about anything. I truly believe that our bodies are our healers. Emotions and sensations are data and they are our bodies way of communicating to us. We have been programmed and conditioned to suppress emotions by thinking they are bad or we are weak for feeling them. It's safe to shift from fight and flight (sympathetic nervous system) to rest and digest (parasympathetic nervous system) through the breath. I just want you to know that if you have trauma in your body, you are whole. You are perfect. There is nothing wrong with you. You are not a problem that has to be fixed. It's safe to ask for support and receive it. Allow yourself to shift and process whatever it is that your body is ready to process.     11. Being HUMAN requires FEELING

    Our minds are meaning making machines. The statement "I am anxious" implies that we are the anxiety and that the anxiety is us. Shifting that statement to "I am experiencing the sensation of anxiety" creates space between you and the anxiety. You are simply the awareness that is experiencing the sensation of anxiety. You are not the sensations that you feel. Sensation is the language of the body. By getting to a place of neutrality and safety with the emotions/sensations we feel, our life gets so much easier because we're no longer resisting the emotions/sensations that we are experiencing. Numbing one emotion is numbing all emotion. We can't pick and choose what emotion we don't want to feel. I invite you to adopt these two mantras "Everything is happening for me in perfect timing. And I am never given anything I can't handle." These two mantras help me each and every day. At the end of this episode, I teach you another tool called sensation association. Step 1: Identify all of the stories that come along with experiencing a sensation. Step 2: Write down the polar opposite stories that you would like to embody one day. Step 3: What's the middle ground here? I am in the process of feeling safe to experience anxiety. I am sending you so much love.

    During a breathwork journey I went on, the term "Body Connection Coach" came to me. In this episode I share my interpretation of what body connection means to me and the importance of connecting to your body. I talked about fear voice vs soul voice, neutrality with emotions, and how your breath gets to be a bridge for safety within your body. I used to numb myself whenever I felt ANY sensations. When I numbed my emotions and sensations, I was really just denying my human experience in that moment. Breathwork helped me cultivate safety within my body to be able to begin to feel my feelings. No matter where you are on your healing journey, you are exactly where you need to be. Your journey, your path, and your timeline are all unique to YOU. You are not broken or a problem that has to be fixed. You are a freakin' diamond. I am sending you so much love.

    9. It's OK to not be OK

    This episode is a reminder that it's okay to not be okay. It's time to give ourselves permission to be human and to FEEL everything that we are feeling. We can't change situations or experiences that are happening, but we CAN change the way that we respond to the things that are happening in our lives. Life is happening FOR YOU in perfect timing. Not TO you. You are safe to sit with your feelings and you are safe to not be okay. This too shall pass. I am sending you so much love.

    8. Destination addiction, judgement/comparison, victim turned empowered

    In this episode I shared a little bit about destination addiction. So often, we get caught up in the "When, then" game. "When x happens, I'll be happy." I spoke to judgement and comparison. We judge ourselves for not being like someone else or we compare ourselves to someone else. Instead of judging yourself, choose compassion. The true GIFT of life is within the present moment. Anytime you are experiencing destination addiction, you are wanting to be in the future or you are thinking about the past. Breathe and bring yourself back to the present moment. FEELINGS are meant to be FELT. By feeling pain, grief, sadness, or pain, this only makes you HUMAN. You are not here to only be "happy." You are here to be HUMAN. Don't deny yourself 50% of your human experiencing by only desiring to be happy.     In this episode, I share a little bit about my solo cross country road trip. I talked a lot about fear and how fear used to run my life, and my new relationship I have with fear now. It's an important time to trust ourselves, trust in Source, surrender the "how", and dream a new dream. What do we want to create in our lives? And what do we get to destroy in the process to allow those dreams to come to life? Keep breathing, keep surrendering, keep trusting, and allow your fear to become the arrow of where to lean in next.     This message is so important for every single person to listen to right now. Our bodies have so much visceral intelligence and wisdom that our minds do not have access to. Our body communicates to us through sensations and feelings. By sitting with our sensations and our feelings, we are able to access our truth within us. We get to run everything that we hear through the lens of our own discernment to decide for ourselves, with the help of our visceral intelligence, what our truth is. Your truth is not found outside of yourself. Your truth is found in the depths of your pain and everything that you feel. I invite you to take a couple of deep breaths and question everything. It is safe to take your power back. I truly believe that we are the creators and the destroyers of our lives. If we don't like the way we are living, we get to take full responsibility for our whole lives and realize that WE are the only ones who can change it. Realize that you get to make yourself a priority and get connected to your truth in order to take your power back. I love you, and it is your BIRTH RIGHT to stand confidently in all of your power.
