What if one of the most important proteins for healthy aging is also one of the most overlooked? Most people think collagen is simply a beauty supplement for smoother skin and fewer wrinkles. But collagen is actually the structural foundation of your entire body--skin, joints, cartilage, tendons, ligaments, bones, and connective tissues. The reality is that collagen production begins declining as early as your twenties, and that decline may contribute to many of the symptoms people mistakenly accept as "normal aging."In this episode, Dr. Thomas Hemingway dives into the science of collagen, what the latest research says about its benefits for skin, hair, nails, joints, cartilage, and bone health, and how to maximize its effectiveness with key nutrients like vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, glucosamine, and chondroitin. You'll learn practical strategies to support healthy collagen production, discover who benefits most from supplementation, and hear real-world examples of how collagen can be part of a comprehensive healthy aging and longevity plan. Stop Leaving Money on the Table: Optimize Patient Experience and Team Accountability

Keep What You Earn

Play Episode Listen Later Jun 23, 2026 50:48

Many med spas spend heavily on attracting new patients while overlooking one of the biggest growth opportunities already inside the practice: the existing patient base. Sustainable esthetic practice growth doesn't come from acquiring more patients alone—it comes from creating an experience that keeps them coming back.  In this episode, I sit down with Abby Honaker, President of Partner Success at Pink Sky, to discuss how practice owners can improve patient retention, strengthen provider accountability, and create systems that support long-term growth. We talk about everything from provider utilization and compensation structure to treatment plans, patient outreach, and building a service experience that drives loyalty.  Every Patient Interaction Should Move the Journey Forward  One thing I constantly see is that medical aesthetics is failing to maximize each patient interaction. Whether it's recommending skincare, discussing future treatments, or helping a patient understand their long-term goals, every touchpoint is an opportunity for education and deeper engagement.   The strongest practices don't treat visits as one-time transactions. They create intentional patient journeys with clear next steps, personalized care plans, and a consistent service experience that encourages rebooking and patient loyalty.  When patients understand where they're going next, retention and revenue improve.   Retention Is Built Through Systems, Not Hope  Patient retention isn't accidental. It comes from clear processes, team training, and data-driven decisions.  • Train providers and front desk teams on every service offered • Use targeted marketing and patient outreach to reactivate inactive patients • Build treatment plans that extend three, six, or nine months into the future  • Track rebooking rates and provider utilization regularly • Create membership programs that support long-term engagement • Standardize scripts to improve consistency across the patient journey  The practices that maximize revenue are often the ones that create predictable systems around the client experience.  Providers Should Be Advisors, Not Order Takers  Patients don't come to your practice because they're experts in treatment planning. They come because you are. That means providers should confidently recommend the care they believe will produce the best outcome rather than allowing patients to "order off the menu." Whether it's upselling skincare, integrating wellness services, or recommending additional treatments, education is part of delivering high-quality care.  Avoid making assumptions about what patients can or cannot afford. Present the best recommendation, explain the value, and allow the patient to decide what works for them. Data Creates Better Decisions—and Better Outcomes  Successful med spa practices combine exceptional care with strong operational discipline.    As your med spa scales, creating a profitable exit—or simply building a more sustainable business—depends on having systems that support both the patient experience and financial performance. The goal isn't simply to add more services. It's to build a practice where every touchpoint strengthens loyalty, improves outcomes, and supports long-term profitability.  Follow Shannon & Keep What You Earn:   Shannon Weinstein is the founder of a fractional CFO firm specializing in helping 7-figure aesthetics and wellness practices scale with clarity, cash flow, and confidence.  Shannon is committed to helping med spa owners understand, fix, and maximize their business's enterprise value, offering actionable advice and resources, including a popular free video series specifically for aesthetics practice owners.  Connect with Shannon: Fractional CFO Services and Executive Financial Review: https://www.keepwhatyouearn.com/  Connect with Shannon: https://www.linkedin.com/in/shannonweinstein  Watch full episodes: https://www.youtube.com/@KeepWhatYouEarn  Listen on your favorite podcast app: https://pod.link/1580071347  Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/shannonkweinstein/  The information shared is for educational purposes only and is not individualized financial advice. Remarkable Marketing
Drive to Survive: How to Create a Market That Didn't Exist | Michael Londgren (Responsive)

Remarkable Marketing

Play Episode Listen Later Jun 23, 2026 51:17

The story was always there. It just took the right storytellers to find it. That's the central lesson of Formula 1: Drive to Survive, and it's the same one B2B marketers keep missing. Michael Londgren, CMO at Responsive, joins us to unpack why Drive to Survive is one of the best modern case studies in brand building, and what it teaches us about storytelling, category creation, and why the best product doesn't always win. Together, we dig into why optimizing for serendipity beats optimizing for control, why nobody actually cares about your product features, and why treating marketing as a favor to your team might be the most expensive executive mistake of all. About our guest, Michael Londgren Michael Londgren is CMO at Responsive, the category leader in strategic response management - helping companies win more business with faster, trusted responses to RFPs, security questionnaires, and due diligence requests. He joined the company when it was still known as RFPIO and helped lead its rebrand and category creation strategy. Before that, he held senior marketing roles at DocuSign and Ariba. He's also a committed McLaren fan and a reluctant F1 convert who has since gone fully down the rabbit hole. What B2B Marketers Can Learn From Formula 1: Drive to Survive The story was always there — your job is to find it. F1 racing existed for decades before Drive to Survive. The rivalries, the drama, the characters - none of it was invented. What changed was that someone decided to actually tell the story. Ian's point is direct: "In B2B, we do the same exact thing where we just make excuses for ourselves about how boring we are. It's not boring to the people whose life's work it is." Michael connects it to the 15,000 SaaS solutions all competing for a slot in a company's stack of roughly 30: "If you're a standard B2B marketer doing the standard B2B things in a sea of 15,000 competitors, you're not gonna win." The brands that break through aren't the ones with the best features - they're the ones who found a human story worth telling. Don't brief your way to authenticity. Go find the story. Optimize for serendipity, not control. When Drive to Survive's producers started filming, they didn't know what the show would look like. They didn't know if teams would open up. They didn't know what rivalries would emerge. Season 1 was imperfect, messy, and completely riveting. Ian draws the line to B2B: "What people do is they don't do that, because they want to optimize for control. Whereas optimizing for serendipity is a far better strategy." B2B marketing teams script every word, engineer every answer, and then wonder why nobody engages. Michael connects it to something he learned from Keith Krach, co-founder of Ariba: "Luck is when opportunity meets preparation." The grind is still required — you just can't design the outcome. Sometimes the thing that makes the show is the character you didn't plan on finding. Nobody cares about your product. They care about value. Michael puts it plainly: "Let's be honest, nobody cares about the product. They don't." Drive to Survive runs eight seasons and barely covers how the cars actually work. The engineering matters enormously. But it's not the story. The story is the drivers, the rivalries, the decisions, and what it costs to win. Michael connects it directly to Responsive's rebrand from RFPIO: "RFPIO is very product focused. Responsive is a higher value, more interesting concept. Everyone wants to be responsive. That's an aspiration." The lesson for any B2B brand: lead with what the value unlocks, back it with customer voices, and let the product prove itself rather than trying to prove it upfront. Marketing is a strategic imperative, not a favor. Ian heard something on a recent shoot that stuck with him: a senior executive said, "Anything to help marketing." It sounds generous. It's actually the wrong frame entirely. "You're not helping marketing," Ian says. "You're doing the thing that is strategically imperative for our business." He identifies three people any audience most wants to hear from: the CEO (who sets the vision), customers (who validate the value), and anyone inside the organization who happens to be genuinely interesting. Michael adds the Responsive example - a team member who started small-group Coffee Chats with customers, grew them to hundreds of regulars, and became a mini-celebrity in their community: "Identifying who really resonates and putting investment behind that person. That's it." "The future of marketing is customer success — how customers are getting value — and bringing that to life authentically. Back to Drive to Survive: authentic human storytelling within the context of high-stakes racing. That combination is a winning combination." — Michael Londgren Time Stamps [1:33] Meet Michael Londgren, CMO at Responsive [2:25] Why Formula 1: Drive to Survive? Did you know forgiveness is a decision? Welcome to Flourish-Meant, where we explore transformative paths to spiritual and emotional growth. In today's episode, we delve into the liberating power of forgiveness with special guest Carla Shelton—speaker, author, and host of the Monday Manna One Minute Inspirational Show on YouTube. Drawing from her own journey of overcoming hurt, resentment, and bitterness in the workplace, Carla shares why forgiveness is not merely a feeling but a decisive choice. Together, we'll uncover common misconceptions about forgiveness, the impact of unresolved pain, the process of letting go, and the importance of establishing healthy boundaries. Whether you're struggling to release past wounds or seeking freedom in your relationships, Carla's wisdom will guide you toward the empowerment and healing found when you choose to forgive. Key Takeaways from Our Conversation with Carla Shelton Forgiveness Is a Decision, Not a Feeling Many believe forgiveness must be felt, but as Carla shares, it's actually a conscious choice—a commandment that brings freedom regardless of your emotions 12:10. Understanding What Forgiveness IS and ISN'T Forgiving does not excuse or condone someone's actions. It is not giving someone a "get out of jail free card"—it's about releasing yourself from bitterness and pain 05:36. Forgiveness Is Layered and May Take Time Healing sometimes requires peeling back emotional layers, especially if you've suffered deep wounds such as ongoing abuse or betrayal 03:19. You Can Forgive Without Reconciliation Forgiveness and reconciliation are separate processes. You can set healthy boundaries while still releasing forgiveness, even if the other person isn't sorry or doesn't change 13:47. Taking Action: Carla's Practical Steps Carla recommends journaling your feelings, expressing them in prayer, and releasing negative emotions to God. Sometimes, as in her own journey, forgiveness also means blessing those who hurt you 09:00, 21:02. Inspirational Scripture "A person's wisdom makes them patient. They will be honored if they forgive someone who sins against them." — Proverbs 19:11  Connect with Carla Shelton Book: Forgiveness is a Decision (Available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Trilogy, and more) Website: carlashelton.com YouTube: Monday Manna Inspiration (one-minute spiritual encouragements weekly) Reflect & Flourish Are you holding on to any bitterness or resentment? How much sleep do men over 40 really need? Most men over 40 should aim for 7–9 hours of total sleep per night, but the real goal is accumulating 3–4 hours of restorative sleep, which includes Deep Sleep (Slow Wave Sleep) and REM Sleep (Rapid Eye Movement Sleep). These are the sleep stages responsible for testosterone production, muscle repair, fat metabolism, memory consolidation, immune function, recovery, and healthy aging. Men who focus only on total sleep hours often miss the most important factor: sleep quality.Episode SummaryMost men think sleep is about getting seven to nine hours. But what if you've been focusing on the wrong metric? In this episode of the Over 40 Alpha Podcast, Funk Roberts reveals why restorative sleep may be one of the most overlooked health, fitness, and longevity tools available to men over 40, 50, and 60.Funk shares his personal experience discovering that despite sleeping seven to eight hours per night, his recovery scores remained poor until he began tracking and optimizing Deep Sleep and REM Sleep. He breaks down the four stages of sleep, explains how restorative sleep impacts testosterone, fat loss, muscle growth, brain health, emotional regulation, and recovery, and provides six practical strategies to dramatically improve sleep quality starting tonight. If you're struggling with low energy, poor recovery, belly fat, brain fog, low testosterone, or chronic fatigue, this episode may completely change how you think about sleep.Timestamps00:00 Welcome to Over 40 Alpha Answers01:15 Why most men focus on the wrong sleep metric03:50 Sleep quantity vs sleep quality06:55 Funk's personal WHOOP sleep breakthrough10:45 What is restorative sleep?18:45 Understanding the four stages of sleep20:45 Stage 1: Transition Sleep23:15 Stage 2: Preparation Sleep26:00 Stage 3: Deep Sleep (Slow Wave Sleep)30:35 Deep Sleep, testosterone, muscle growth and recovery39:55 Stage 4: REM Sleep42:05 REM Sleep and memory consolidation47:40 REM Sleep and emotional regulation49:10 REM Sleep and brain detoxification52:30 Sleep and testosterone research53:45 Sleep, hunger hormones and fat loss56:15 Why tracking sleep matters59:15 Strategy #1: Change your sleep identity01:02:05 Strategy #2: The 3-2-1 Rule01:06:20 Strategy #3: Optimize your sleep environment01:08:45 Strategy #4: Magnesium Glycinate01:10:05 Strategy #5: Morning sunlight01:10:55 Strategy #6: Consistent bedtime routine01:14:05 The real question men should ask about sleep01:15:15 Final thoughts and next stepsResources MentionedJoin the Over 40 Alpha Brotherhoodhttps://www.over40alpha.comOver 40 Supplementshttps://www.over40supplements.comUse Coupon Code:PODCAST15Get a WHOOP Wearablehttps://www.over40shred.com/whoopMen Over 40 Health Summithttps://www.menover40summit.com

Join us as we delve into: The Classification of Fiber: Understanding the biological differences between soluble fiber (which breaks down into calories) and insoluble fiber (which adds bulk to stool). 327: How to Build a Personal Brand that Attracts Clients with Caleb Ralston

The Business of Meetings

Play Episode Listen Later Jun 16, 2026 52:56

We are delighted to welcome Caleb Ralston as today's guest. Caleb's journey has been remarkable, and he is currently one of the most prominent voices in our industry in building brands and creating content people can actually apply. In 2025, he released a YouTube video that attracted more than 1.1 million views! Stay tuned as Caleb shares what he learned from working with people like Gary Vaynerchuk, Alex Hormozi, and Leila Hormozi, explains his approach to personal branding, and offers practical advice for creators, solopreneurs, and business owners looking to build trust through content. Caleb's Journey Caleb's interest in video started when he was a child, making videos with his sister using his mom's camera. In high school, he volunteered on his church's media team, where he met Sean Cannell, who introduced him to Gary Vaynerchuk's work. After reading Gary's book, Caleb decided to pursue video full-time. He started creating content in the powerlifting and bodybuilding world, worked with top athletes, then joined a software company before eventually moving to New York to work for Gary Vaynerchuk. After several years working across Team Gary, VaynerMedia, and Constellation Brands, he moved to Las Vegas. Shortly after arriving, he began working with Alex and Leila Hormozi to help build their content and personal brands. In November 2024, Caleb launched his own business to help founders build personal brands that optimize for trust. Lessons from Gary Vaynerchuk One of Caleb's biggest lessons from Gary was that empathy and kindness are strengths rather than weaknesses. Gary demonstrated that treating people well can create meaningful impact and lasting relationships. The Cost of High Performance Working with Gary required intense commitment and long hours. Caleb pushed himself extremely hard and eventually learned his limits. While he does not glorify working yourself into the ground, he acknowledges that many of the opportunities he has today came from years of sustained effort, sacrifice, and focused work. Las Vegas After years of working in large organizations, Caleb reached a point where he needed new experiences and different challenges. So, he moved to Las Vegas because he wanted a change of environment and believed new opportunities would emerge. An opportunity soon arose for him to work with Alex and Leila Hormozi. Personal Branding Caleb's approach to personal branding starts with identifying what makes a founder different. Rather than copying successful creators, he focuses on uncovering the unique ways a person thinks, communicates, solves problems, and approaches their work. He believes the strongest personal brands amplify what is already unique rather than imitating someone else's formula. Starting His Own Business Although Caleb had considered starting his own business for years, he waited until the timing felt right. Opportunities began appearing through interviews, content, and industry relationships. Self-Doubt Despite his success, Caleb still experiences self-doubt and frequently questions whether he is the right person for the opportunities presented to him. What has helped him throughout his career is taking action before feeling fully qualified. He believes progress comes from moving forward despite uncertainty rather than waiting until all doubts disappear. Bad Advice Caleb disagrees with the notion of "fake it till you make it." He believes the phrase has encouraged people to exaggerate their expertise, misrepresent themselves, and sell advice without credibility. Instead, he advocates being honest about who you are, gaining real experience, and allowing your work to speak for itself. Caleb's Personal Branding Course After receiving repeated questions about personal branding, Caleb decided to create a comprehensive free course and publish it on YouTube, rather than selling the information behind a paywall. The course significantly exceeded his expectations and reached a much larger audience than he anticipated. Advice for Solopreneurs and Small Business Owners If you are building a personal brand on your own, focus on one primary platform and one secondary platform. Put most of your effort into the primary platform and repurpose content for the second. Choose a publishing schedule that feels realistic rather than overwhelming. Once you establish consistency, you can gradually increase your output over time. Optimize for Trust, Not Virality Caleb believes creators should stop optimizing content for virality and start optimizing for trust. Build content around real problems your audience faces and help them solve their problems. Every time you set an expectation and meet it, you build trust. Consistently doing that creates stronger relationships and better long-term results than chasing views. Show Who You Are People connect with people, not generic content. Caleb encourages creators to show who they really are, including their interests, personality, experiences, and perspectives. The goal is not to appeal to everyone. A strong personal brand attracts the right people while naturally repelling the wrong ones. AI-Generated Content Caleb believes much of today's AI-generated content sounds generic because it draws from the same sources and averages everything toward the middle. Audiences do not want generic advice. They want lessons filtered through your unique experiences, failures, successes, and perspective. Your personal story is what makes your content valuable. Attract the Right Clients A strong personal brand attracts the right people and repels the wrong people. Caleb believes many creators focus only on attracting audiences, but successful brands also create clear boundaries. When you show your real personality and values, you naturally attract clients who are a better fit. Free Resources Caleb encourages people to consume his free content. He recommends watching his six-and-a-half-hour YouTube course, downloading the workbook, completing the exercises, and applying the lessons. Only after acting on his free resources should people consider working with him directly. A Future Dream Although Caleb enjoys building businesses and personal brands, he imagines working hard for many years, reaching his financial goals, and eventually living a quieter life bartending at a small dive bar where he knows the regular customers and enjoys a slower pace. Bio: Caleb Ralston Building Personal Brands that Optimize for Trust, Not Virality Brand executive with 17 years of experience building brands, leading creative teams, and scaling content strategies for some of the most recognized names in business, including Alex Hormozi, Leila Hormozi, and Gary Vaynerchuk. Before that, I served as Gary Vaynerchuk's videographer and TikTok Lead. In just three months, we grew his TikTok following from 300,000 to 3.5 million. I also edited his hit series, Trash Talk, helping spread Gary's message about how to get started in business with no money. What I've learned along the way is that building a brand isn't about chasing trends or trying to go viral. It's about creating trust and consistency, scaling your impact, and delivering real results. Whether it's building a team, developing a strategy, or leading a campaign, I'm focused on what moves the needle. What I Believe Your personal brand is your greatest business advantage. It's how you build trust and authority, and unlock new opportunities. Great content starts with understanding your audience. The magic happens when you deliver what they actually care about. Clarity and accountability drive success. Empowering people to own their role is what separates good teams from great ones. What Drives Me Real Impact I'm obsessed with measurable results. Whether it's taking a brand from under-the-radar to top-of-mind or building a team that crushes its goals, I care about outcomes that matter. Building People Up Developing talent and helping others level up are some of the most rewarding parts of what I do. I love giving people the tools and frameworks to thrive. Excellence in Execution I don't settle for "good enough." I set high standards for myself and others because that's what it takes to create exceptional work. Authentic Relationships Business success is about people. Trust, connection, and real value are the foundations of everything I do. Creating Legacy It's about more than today. I want to build systems, teams, and ideas that outlive me—things that redefine how people approach personal branding and content creation. Your Orthodontist SEO Plan Isn't Good Enough (here's why)

Every orthodontist who talks to us eventually asks the same thing: how do I rank number one for "orthodontist in my city," and how do I stay there? Local SEO for orthodontists is not a single trick. It is on-page work on your website and Google Business Profile, then authority built through link building, applied in the right order for the footprint your practice actually has. This post breaks down how Luke Infinger and James, the SEO lead at HIP Creative, approach that problem on the GrowOrtho podcast. It covers where to start, why link building does the heavy lifting, which page you should be trying to rank, and how to handle the awkward cases: one location serving a dozen towns, or several offices spread across a region. The short version is that ranking is earned by closing the gap between your site and the practice currently sitting in the top spot, then out-building them on authority. Here is how that plays out step by step. Key takeaways Ranking starts on-page. Run a comprehensive audit of your live website and Google Business Profile, then a competitive analysis that identifies exactly what the number-one practice has that you are missing, and close that gap first. Link building is what builds authority and is the hardest part to implement correctly. The order is citations first, then press, then industry-relevant links. Start citations with business directories: Apple Maps, Yelp, and lesser-known local options like Yellow Book and Brown Book. Your name, address and phone number must match your Google Business Profile exactly. Which page ranks depends on locations. Multiple offices in one metro means optimizing the homepage as the hub with neighborhood location pages under it. A single office or offices far apart means powering up individual location pages instead. One location that wants to rank for many nearby communities should build neighborhood supporting pages linked from an "areas we serve" section, and research whether the town belongs to a larger market worth chasing. Optimize the Google Business Profile completely, then use GMB Everywhere to copy the categories, services and descriptions of the top-ranked competitor and run a weekly posting strategy (Invisalign for teens one week, braces for kids the next). To start backlinks locally, Google "local media kits," buy placements that produce a real article and brand mention with a link, and enter "Best of" contests run by Gannett and USA Today for social proof plus a backlink.

They discuss lights-out machining, process documentation, SOPs, simplification, customer urgency, and the role leaders play in bringing calm when everyone else is stressed.

Cem Atik is the co-founder and CMO of Harucon Ventures, a firm that acquires minority and majority equity stakes in e-commerce and SaaS businesses doing between one and ten million in annual revenue. Rather than operating as an agency or consultancy, Cem and his team get in with capital, take operational control of marketing and finance, and work to make the businesses they partner with structurally profitable. Most e-commerce brands that come to Harucon Ventures have the same underlying problem: they are optimizing for the wrong things. Revenue looks healthy. ROAS looks acceptable. But unit economics are broken, overhead is bloated, and the margin structure makes scaling impossible. In this conversation, Cem walks through exactly how his team diagnoses and fixes that. From cutting ad spend by 1.7 million euros in a single month to replacing a fulfillment provider that was silently overcharging a brand shipping 25,000 packages a day, the fixes are rarely glamorous but consistently high-impact. The conversation also covers his four-engine growth framework: acquisition, retention, conversion, and profit-first optimization, and why founders who lead with ROAS are measuring the wrong thing entirely.Cem also breaks down channel mix strategy, including why Pinterest and Bing Ads are consistently underused, why TikTok affiliate is one of the highest-leverage growth levers available right now, and why the real money in e-commerce is almost always made in retention, not acquisition.Founders who are scaling but not compounding, or growing revenue while watching margins compress, will find this episode unusually direct and useful.Website: https://www.vimmi.net Email us: info@vimmi.net Podcast website: https://vimmi.net/commerce-untold/ Eitan Koter's LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/eitankoter/ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@VimmiVideoCommerce/featured Guest: Cem Atik, Co-Founder & CMO, Harucon Ventures Cem Atik's LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/cem-atikHarucon-Ventures: https://harucon-ventures.com/Key Takeaways: • If a founder cannot state their customer acquisition cost in under 15 seconds, the business does not have a real financial foundation yet. • ROAS tells you how much revenue you generated per dollar spent. It tells you nothing about whether that dollar was profitable. Optimizing for profit on ad spend (POAS) gives you actual control. • Gross margin under 65% makes scaling structurally difficult in the US and UK markets. The margin problem cannot be fixed with better ads. • Agencies are typically three times cheaper than hiring in-house at early stages. Outsource acquisition first, learn from the partner, then bring it in-house once systems are proven. • TikTok affiliate is one of the most capital-efficient acquisition channels available: commission-based, creator-generated content, and scalable without a large internal team. • Pinterest is consistently overlooked despite an audience skewing 25 to 45 years old with average household incomes above $100K, and ROAS between four and six even at modest spend levels.Chapters:[00:00] Introduction: Cem Atik and the Harucon Ventures Model[01:27] The Founders Harucon Typically Partners With[03:45] The Post-Acquisition Audit: First 72 Hours[07:45] Cutting 1.7M Euros in Ad Spend: A Case Study[09:16] Why Gross Margin Under 65% Makes Scaling Nearly Impossible[13:51] The KPIs That Actually Matter: CAC, CLV, MER, EBITDA[18:35] The Four Engines: Acquisition, Retention, Conversion, Profit[24:00] Why ROAS Misleads and POAS Gives Real Control[25:41] Channel Mix: TikTok, Pinterest, Bing, and What Gets Overlooked

Megan chats with Mika Kinney about the Instagram strategies food creators can use to grow reach, attract followers, and turn attention into revenue.   Mika is the creator behind Joy to the Food, a whole-food recipe brand with 470K followers on Instagram. She and her husband built the business over the last 5 years and now earns through ads, brand partnerships, affiliates, and a membership community enough to support them both full time. She's going to talk about why she stopped chasing followers and started chasing revenue instead, and what that looks like in practice.   Instagram is evolving quickly, and many food bloggers are seeing lower engagement despite consistent posting or high follower counts. In this episode, Mika breaks down the difference between content that drives growth and content that drives monetization, along with practical ways to improve reach, build a loyal audience, and create new revenue opportunities without relying solely on website traffic.   Key Topics Discussed: - Focus on reach before trying to monetize. - Optimize the first three seconds of every reel. - Give followers a clear reason to follow you. - Use stories to build trust before selling. - Charge brands based on reach and engagement, not follower count. - Analyze performance data and repeat what works.   Resources Mika Creative - Mastermind, Instagram audits and more Guest Details Connect with Joy to the Food Website | Instagram

What if true health isn't about treating symptoms—but removing the obstacles that prevent the body from doing what it was designed to do? In this powerful conversation, Dr. Christina Rahm and Clayton Thomas join Michael Jaco to discuss wellness, detoxification, environmental toxins, longevity, cellular health, and why personal responsibility has never been more important. Dr. Rahm shares insights from years of research and innovation in health sciences, discussing the growing challenges people face from toxic exposures, stress, nutritional deficiencies, and environmental burdens that can negatively impact long-term wellness and vitality. Clayton Thomas explains why many people are beginning to rethink conventional approaches to health and focus instead on foundational wellness, cellular support, detoxification pathways, and helping the body operate the way nature intended. Together they explore the importance of optimizing health before crisis strikes, strengthening resilience, supporting the body's natural systems, and creating a proactive strategy for longevity rather than waiting until illness develops. The discussion also examines the lessons learned from recent global health events and why more people are seeking solutions that focus on prevention, wellness optimization, and empowering individuals to take control of their own health journey. At its core, this conversation is about building a stronger foundation for the future. More energy. More vitality. Better recovery. Greater resilience. And a longer, healthier life. If you've been looking for practical ways to improve your health, reduce toxic burden, support your body's natural defenses, and optimize wellness and longevity simultaneously, this is a conversation you won't want to miss.
