Jackie’s heart for restorative justice originated during her years as a practitioner for drug and alcohol rehabilitation facilities in Northern California. Having worked with both victims and offenders in the criminal justice system, Jackie has learned that reconciliation between individuals involved in an incident is a critical pre-requisite for successful healing and rehabilitation of all persons. As a Restorative Justice Practitioner, Jackie believes that trauma, crime and wrongdoing cause harm / injustice; and the fruit of justice should be healing and restoration for all involved stakeholders. By applying empathetic insight through teaching and program development, she empowers HOPE City to teach our community tools in empathy and understanding to help them live a life in freedom and wholeness. Through Jackie’s leadership and passion to teach, HOPE City offers curriculum and programs to teach people tools to practice empathy and restore healing and wholeness to all those seeking justice in their community.
