Each week at 7pm Eastern on Mondays, I lead listeners through a meditation and then discuss various topics on how to create whole life transformation through applying spiritual principles to one's life! These recordings are 58-61 minutes long.
Who is Jesus? What was he like? What is he like today (assuming we can have a relationship with him)? I'll discuss Christian, New Thought, Buddhist, and Shamanistic views of Jesus (at least my understanding of those traditions) and discuss how I relate to Jesus and why I think it's not all that important as to how you define him (Him?).
It's been awhile. Honestly, I didn't realize anyone was listening to these but as I work to relaunch my website, I realized that people were downloading these! Wow! I'm honored and humbled and... feel a little bad that I've neglected this page for so long. So, this is my first post in awhile. I'll update you as to what I'm up to, my current views and beliefs, and what you can expect going forward. It's time to get connected again. It's time to get real. It's time to get free!
In Ch. 30 of ACIM, freedom is defined as doing our will. But what about elsewhere in ACIM? What is freedom and how do we live it?
How do we live in freedom? What are the thoughts we need to change? Can we do anything we want? Does free really mean free?
Rev. Kelly discusses Ch. 30 of ACIM and what Freedom is to the spiritual student.
Rev. Kelly talks about the history of the U.S.A. celebration of July 4th - and look at it through the lens of ACIM.
In this episode, Rev. Kelly shares some of the "red flags" found in the "What is Forgiveness" section of ACIM. How do we know we aren't forgiving? What should we watch for? Listen and find out!
In this episode, Rev.Kelly talks about how forgiveness isn't something we do, but rather something that is done to us - and what our part is in that.
In the ACIM workbook, is a section called, "What is Forgiveness?" We may think we know but ACIM redefines it and in this episode, Rev. Kelly talks about what forgiveness is and isn't.
Is discipline bad? Does ACIM tell us how to study? Does it matter? Rev. Kelly talks about being focused on the spiritual path and the process of moving forward.
Rev. Kelly talks about prayer and the Courses view on it as well as shares two different formats of prayer that she uses often. One is a great format for daily prayer and the other supports one in looking past challenges.
Rev. Kelly shares about various forms of meditation, what ACIM says about meditation and leads a couple of meditations that the listener can easily implement into their own lives.
In this episode, Rev. Kelly reviews the month and talks about releasing worry and judgment against God, self and others.
Sometimes we feel challenged by relationships, people, circumstances. How do we look at them and see innocence? In this podcast, I share some perspectives on how to avoid going into judgment as well as discuss a real-life scenario that a listener brought up during the program! Check it out and heal your relationships today!
Is it ok to love ourselves? Is it arrogant? Is it ignoring our flaws? What does it mean to love yourself and is that a good thing? Listen in as Rev. Kelly shares her thoughts about self-love, how to live it and why it's the best thing you can do for those you care about.
February 3, 2017: Loving God (Applying Indiscriminate Love) This is an audio recording of me on ACIM Gather (a PalTalk channel - see â??â??At the CMC for more info). We start looking at this month's theme of indiscriminate love (loving all beings equally) by considering how we feel about God. Is it ok to be upset with God? Are there times we are mad with God but don't know it? What are some things we can do to let go of the anger when life just doesn't go our way? Listen to this hour of heart-felt sharing to get some insights
In this talk, I review the material we've discussed during January and in particular, focus on being flexible to the guidance we receive as well as observing where we are placing our energies. If things aren't happening the way we want, maybe we are the cause of that? It's a great talk on looking at life, how to evaluate what we are doing and moving into happiness regardless of what the outcomes are.
Every prayer of the heart is answered - so what do we do when it seems what we want isn't what we are getting? This podcast looks at the role of idle thoughts, subconscious mind and all the things that get in the way of getting what we think we want!
If God doesn't listen to the words of our prayers or desires, then why set our intentions/desires anyway? In this podcast Rev. Kelly talks about the purpose of setting intentions and how it can support us on our spiritual path even if we don't get what we thought we wanted.
Resolutions are generally defined as an attempt to correct something that needs "fixed" but A Course in MIracles says that as God created us perfect, so we are perfect. So what do we do for the new year? Do we ignore resolutions or explore with me on this program the idea of setting intentions - a flexible and respectful approach to goal setting. I also include a process to support you in figuring out what you really want and what will really satisfy! (60 min).
Rev. Kelly shares some of the challenges that she had with the holidays and looks at "The Four Agreements" written by Don Miguel Ruiz. It's a great discussion on integrity, not taking things personally and doing our best.
Rev. Kelly talks about the tradition of gift giving and the many beliefs that we hold around it. She then shares some questions and thoughts that can help us navigate the gift-giving season with less stress and upset!
Rev. Kelly shares the history of Christmas, what ACIM says about ACIM and how Christmas is a state of mind - not a holiday.
Rev. Kelly talks about Lesson 135 and the call for gratitude to be a way of life and not merely a holiday celebrated once a year.
In this episode, we review what gratitude is and then spend time exploring "Radical Forgiveness". It's an ACIM-based book that suggests some radical ways of looking at people and situations so one can release judgment and hurt to open up to forgiveness (60 min).
What is gratitude? What should we be grateful for? We will explore together a few different religious views of gratitude, and then focus on what A Course in Miracles has to say. There are two meditaitons in this recording! The first is bringing awareness to our Oneness while the second (starts about 50 minutes into the recording) is on expressing gratitude. (60 min).
So perfect Love is the "remedy" to fear - though ACIM refuses to define Love as it is undefinable :) So how do we move from fear to Love? How do we look at our thinking in such a way that we don't manifest our fear thoughts? In this episode, I share several techniques from Byron Katie, to Buddhism, to just ones I've tried and liked over the years! Maybe one will work for you - maybe several. Either way, it's worth checking out!
In this episode, after an opening meditation, I talk about "perfect love" as being the alternative to fear. But what is "perfect love"? How can we experience it? How can we see our brother without sin? Check out this program for answers!
In this episode, I taught for Rev. Tony's "The Bridge to Heaven" program on ACIM Gather. I share about the 4 stages of spiritual growth taught by Michael Beckwith (Agape International) and then focus on the 6 stages that A Course in Miracles talks about in the Manual for Teachers. What does it mean to be a Teacher of God? What are the stages? Why do they matter? Check out this interactive teaching and discussion (via chat room!)
I share my journey and philosophy of spirituality at the beginning. Then I discuss how A Course in Miracles defines fear and suggest a method of identifying the fears that you might be living in without being aware of it (60 min).
