In this episode Paul and Erin break tradition, and get a bit raw...you jabronis. With help from Jacqui, 2018's CO-EP of the Hoist, the gang discussed a wide variety of music from the WWE and wrestling. 

While Erin was out sick, Paul was joined by two of SYN 90.7's best Aussie music and film experts, Niamh and Bec. Using their expertise from The Hoist, the gang explored SLiDE, Napoleon, Tomorrow When The War Began, Gurrumul, The Sapphires.

Erin and Paul are keeping their heads in the past, and this week are discussing the modern classics of animated cinema and TV. Ranging from Pixar to Cartoon Network, the team was joined by animation nut Evrim. Together they discussed The Incredibles, The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride, Steven Universe, Teen Titans and The Iron Giant.

This week Paul and Erin with help from video game expert and 2017's Player One EP Aakash, discussed a range of video game soundtracks from our childhoods. We discussed Ratchet and Clank, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Fallout 3, Final Fantasy 7 and a slew of sporting games from Tony Hawk's Pro Skater to WWE games. 

A week after Halloween Paul and Erin brought in a soundtrack expert to cut into spooky, and scary Horror soundtracks. Speaking to Jacob, the team discussed the horrific Insidious, Halloween (1978), Scooby-Doo (2002), Tetsuo, The Iron Man, Psycho (1960) and American Horror Story. 

On this week's episode Erin and Paul dived into movie's all about music. From musicals, to artist biopics, to movies just about music we looked at School of Rock, A Star Is Born (2018), Grease, Singin in the Rain, Notorious and 8 Mile. 

On OST's second episode Paul and Erin were joined by mid-2000s expert, India to discuss just that. Discussing the favourite films we love now and as teenagers in Ferris Beuller's Day Off, Clueless, Twilight, Angus Thongs and Perfect Snogging, Juno and Project X, we looked at the nostalgic impact of soundtracks and their links with memories and movies. 

In this episode, Erin and Paul explored the works of 3 different directors: Danny Boyle, Edgar Wright and Quentin Tarantino. Looking at the soundtracks of Trainspotting, Slumdog Millionaire, Shaun of the Dead, Baby Driver, Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs, we explored the power of music especially in the way they help convey meaning and a director's intention.
