Aaron joins us after a few weeks off. He is an example of working hard and dedicating yourself to changing your life in a healthy way. We talk a lot about Aaron's weight loss journey but also take a lot of time to get to know him. Dreamers- enjoy

Casey just turned 30. We talk about the do's and dont's of birthdays, what some of our fondest birthday memories are, and how to deal with getting old.

JT comes on the pod to defend himself from Zach and Casey's constant jabs. We talk a lot of mindset and culture and finding a why. We spend a lot of time talking about JT fulfilling his life long dream of owning his own gym, and how it is much bigger than just loosing weight!

Short episode this week! We talk about getting outside and enjoying the outdoors with camping, hiking, boating, or fishing! Who else likes to go camping or hiking??

Travel pod! Bet you guys wouldnt have guessed we met up with Lucas to drink his beer and record a podcast!! Also we have on not one, but two special guests who acted more as a live audience.

We hit a bunch of random thoughts this episode like what constitutes a sport or the most boring sport to watch. We touch on our experience of PBR as the event was this past weekend. We struggled with the concept of time since we recorded this earlier in the week and didnt know how to refer to the last weekend.

We recorded a quick episode on an Easter Sunday so we played a little would you rather to pass the time! Were any of our takes wrong??

First travel pod of the year! We went up to Brookings South Dakota to talk with Randy Soukup. Randy is an avid outdoorsman and broadcaster at the Dante softball tournament for the Bobby Soukup Memorial Tournament. We have a blast catching up with an old friend in his sweet man cave!

We briefly touch on how each of our March Madness brackets are doing and how the NCAA tournament is going. SInce both of our brackets are busted, we made our own. Who is the most badass action movie character (without super powers)??

We reflect on some of the top downloaded episodes and memorable moments since the beginning of time. We talk a little about St. Patty's Day.

We talk about Schell's Brewing Company's Bock Fest, and how Jake and Murphy made their own in their backyard. We also celebrate Zach's first golf outing of the year!

First guest of the year! Cody joins us to chat about the mild winter we had this year and how it affected ice fishing. We talk about open water fishing a little bit but we get into Pheasants Forever new campaign, Call of the Uplands!!

We are back at it again finally after a week hiatus. We spend most of our time speculating about the Coronavirus since we dont actually know much about it. We talk about how it has personally impacted us and how we dont have any sports to watch anymore. 

Andrew Townsend, aka Towny calls in from the beautiful city of Fresno in the beautiful state of California. Originally from South Dakota Andrew become a travel nurse as well as serving with the National Guard! His career has given him the flexibility and passion for seeing the world! He shares his experiences outside of the U.S. along with some of his favorite places in the states as well. Be careful, traveling is addictive, once you start, you cant stop!

It had been way too long since the last time Zach Sieff, aka DJ Zeo was a guest on the show! We had such a blast we promise not to make you wait an additional two years til his next appearance. We covered his superbowl experience, watching his Chiefs win take it home and being in Kansas City for the parade. We talk a lot about the many different events Zach has throughout the year from proms to weddings to his annual birthday pizza party! Zach is one of the most selfless, enthusiastic people you will ever meet and is always more than willing to open up to the dreamers.  If you enjoy this half as much as we did recording this you are in for a treat!

Back on the train. We visit about Zach's recent trip to Fargo and his future trip the Black Hills. We cover a few opportunities of things to do while visiting the great western frontier. We finish and have a come to Jesus moment at the end. We talk about what will get the fire back!! Make podcasting great again!!

The first 25 minutes we talk about the Super Bowl. We dont talk about the actual game as much as spectating traditions, prop bets, and commercials. Then we talk about winter limbo. We discuss the anxiousness that sets in about 3/4 of the way through winter now that all the big winter time events are over. Lastly we wrap up with our segment of "The guys who dont really watch the bachelor but quiz a guy who actually doesnt watch the bachelor at all"

Zach and Casey talk about Kobe's death, legacy, and why it seemed to have a huge impact on people who didnt know him personally. 

Thanks for being patient!! We still got it released on a Monday! We talked with Brady Rhoda, brother of powerful co-host Casey Rhoda. Over the past couple of years, Brady went through a few huge and challenging changes in his life which he opens up and shares with us. We talk about going to school and getting a degree in a certain field but ending up doing something unrelated. We talk about the feelings and motivation behind being open to opportunity and change. Brady highlights the application, testing, academy, and field training process and what it takes to become a game warden. We discuss the difficulty of being apart from your wife and eventually be expecting your first child. Lastly we tried a new segment! We are calling it "guys who kind of watch the bachelor asking a guys who doesnt watch the bachelor at all some questions about the bachelor"  

This is a big week! We have 4 guests along for the ride sharing their Star Wars knowledge. We cover a TON of stuff in a short hour. Matt Van Soelen, Trevor Kauk, Jacob and Nick deVries all call in to give us some new Star Wars insight. We start by talking about Disney taking the franchise, is it good or bad (9:50). We move into the weird release order of the episodes and why Star Wars has such a strong fan base (16:50). Next we discuss what makes Star Wars, Star Wars; what some of the big themes are across all movies (22:00). This leads us to where Star Wars goes from here (28:50). Each of the guys chip in some fan theories and conspiracies (35:00). We have some fun with GOAT picks on both the Sith and Jedi side with snub debates too (42:00) and who some of the other notable characters are. We wrap up with where Star Wars lands in the each of the guys' tv show or franchise all time list (1:00:00).

First episode of the new year! Zach and Casey cover some non health and fitness goals that we are targeting going into 2020. We talk about winter driving, anyone else get cold sweats after driving through a blizzard?? Lastly we wrap up with some nfl playoff talk.  

JT comes back on the pod to talk about health and fitness. We follow up on a few of the topics we touched on with Rob a couple weeks back as well as get into some new fitness areas. JT talks about what it takes for someone to get into and stay in the proper mindset to make sure health and fitness is a long term goal. We talk about the good and bad of new years resolutions when it comes to the gym. We talk about some of the things that might keep someone out of the gym. Lastly we touch on some personal goal setting.

I was so into this episode that I listened to the whole thing and forgot to take show notes. We went down to Iowa to meet up with Lucas Kurtzleben for his birthday, record a podcast, and brew some beers!! We had an absolute blast and cant thank Lucas enough for hosting and showing us how the nectar of the gods is made. We talked about how Lucas got his start in home brewing. The next chunk we talked about the actual process of brewing beer. Finally we wrapped up with some of our favorite local and day or weekend trip breweries!! I hope you enjoy this episode even 30% of how much we loved making this episode! 

We finally convinced Rob to come onto the podcast. Being a good friend of ours, we had a very fun and open conversation about changes in his life and how he decided he needed to make changes for the better. We talk about where he came from to where he is now, how he stays focused and how he sets and achieves goals. If you enjoyed our "self help" episode a few weeks back, you'll love listening to the inspiration behind that show. 

This week is the last week without a guest for a little while. Zach and Casey reminisce about Friday and Saturday night festivities (dry December last 5.5 days). First we get into Zach's review of Great Shots, which has been open since December 6th. (8:36) Next we move into the Carhartt fashion statement. Just so everyone is clear, Casey has been wearing Carhartt before wearing Carhartt was cool. (18:00). We switch to talking about work parties, We share a couple stories and thoughts on what a work party should and shouldnt be. (22:24) Lastly we pick our top three Spotify artists even though neither of us use Spotify. (40:13).

We check in with all the Dreamers just to say we are NOT sorry for missing last week. We talk about ending the streak last week but with no regerts. Out until about 40 mins we talk about the whole week. We brag about how much we ate and realize how much we cant drink anymore. After the 40 minute mark we talk about how one of us kinda sorta missed Thanksgiving and how one of us didnt at all! 

This week we talk about some of things we do to continue to better ourselves and further our education. We touch on some of the books that we like, podcasts that we listen to, and people who we surround ourselves with. We are both passionate about this topic and felt it was a good time to to make an episode about it!

We had a ton of fun, prepare to be entertained! I dont have time for show notes so here is the gist of the episode: first part is about high school football; what coaches look for and are thinking about high schools and high school players, what fans of high school football can look for and what it takes to get to the next step. the next part we roll into college. We talk about Morningside's success, their recent championship, their chances to go back to back. We talk about Dordt starting the season ranked. Andy Erickson makes his second appearance and it was just as fun as the first! We touched on a few different topics from radio to softball. But we really wanted to get into deer hunting. Andy is an avid hunter, specifically, deer hunting. Andy shares many of his hunting stories both good and bad but all incredibly memorable. We spend a lot of time talking about licensing and applying for tags and preference points. We talk a little about beginning hunting and how to approach South Dakota deer hunting. Lastly, we wrap up with a few off the wall topics but finally wrap up possibly our longest episode ever!! We had a blast! Hope you do too! 

Michael knows what hes talking about when it comes to buying and selling houses. He shares a real estate business with family members and has owned a home since he was 20 years old. We couldnt really talk about her witness protection relocation to Sioux Falls from Rhode Island but we do get to talk a ton about photography! Follow along as the gang recounts their week. Casey is joined by Lauren, Cody and Stacy who have all just experienced a California vacation of a lifetime! if you are from either the midwest or the west coast, chime in on what we missed of the other stereotype!

This week we talk about mental health and other things related. Luke Frohreich is Zach's brother in law, working as a nurse practitioner, shares his experiences moving from the Midwest to California and back again. We get into differences in culture and lifestyles and ultimately talk about society and mental health. This is a big issue and is becoming more and more prevalent today. We give our opinions and different experiences with mental health. Listen along, maybe you have additional ideas or can learn something from this episode!  

Summers get crazy busy and we are certainly feeling it now! We talk about upcoming trips and vacations the rest of the summer and speculate if the activities and plans will ever scale back. We talk about things to do in Sioux Falls in our SF Favs segment. Sturgis also gets a good chunk of time. We challenge each other to a beard contest and plan our motorcycle trip to the Black Hills

Bogger (not Justin) came in because he has been trolling us on twitter and had a lot of explaining to do. We ended up talking fantasy football strategies stigmas. We shared a lot of laughs and had a great time!! Even if you dont play fantasy football, like Casey, you can laugh along with us all the same. Enjoy!!

We were in Avon and Dante, SD over the weekend playing in the annual memorial softball tournament, and cutting a rug at the street dance! We took the opportunity to have Kelly Tjeerdsma (pronounced CHURCHsma). Kelly is the mother of a former guest JT. She shares her unique story of being a correctional officer and what she has seen and experienced there. We talk a lot about living and being a part of a small town in the midwest. I hope you enjoy this episode half as much as we enjoyed our weekend with the Tjeerdsmas!
