The Pentagon is in open chaos and the man in charge is the reason. Army Secretary Dan Driscoll — a Ukraine hawk, a drone-defense innovator, and a close ally of JD Vance — just walked into the Oval Office, resigned to President Trump personally, and told him exactly why. Pete Hegseth has frozen flag officer promotions, is reportedly paying people inside the Pentagon to troll Americans on X, and is dragging senior leaders back to Washington for another culture war TED Talk while the Iran war goes sideways. Paul Rieckhoff has been warning about this since the confirmation fight, and on News Nation with Connell McShane he lays out why Hegseth is on thinner ice than anyone else in the cabinet. Then the map. Massachusetts just handed Ed Markey another term over Marine veteran Seth Moulton in a primary where more than 60% of the state's independents were shut out entirely. That's the rigged two-party system in miniature — a general election decided by a closed primary, and moderates left homeless while both parties race to their poles. But there's a counter-current worth watching: independent veteran Senate candidates Todd Achilles in Idaho, Brian Bengs in South Dakota, and Seth Bodnar in Montana are all looking more competitive by the week. This one is a fast, sharp read on what's collapsing at the Pentagon and what's rising in the Senate map. -WATCH full video of this episode here. -Millions of American veterans are being locked out of primary elections in the country they served. The jury in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial remains deadlocked after five days of deliberations, twice telling the judge they cannot reach a unanimous verdict. Now, after Judge William Sullivan delivered a formal instruction urging jurors to keep trying, could the next note from the jury bring the trial to an end? Veteran true-crime journalist Ted Rowlands joins Chanley to discuss how close the case may be to a hung jury, what happens if a mistrial is declared, and whether prosecutors could try Clancy again. Plus, they examine the growing tension outside the courthouse after a woman was accused of filming jurors, and whether outside influences could become an issue for the defense. In this discussion, Matt and Garrett take a critical look at the 10,000 hour rule and explain what actually separates agents who compound from agents who plateau. You will get a clear way to choose what to genuinely master, upgrade the environment you practice in, and borrow skill straight from the people already doing it well, including who in your office to take to lunch this week and exactly what to ask them.Join us in October for LIMITLESS'26. Iran was supposed to be over. It isn't. The ceasefire is going nowhere, 40% of the Navy is parked in the region, the tab is past $29 billion and climbing, and new reporting suggests as much as 70% of Iran's missile capacity is still standing. Meanwhile Ukraine just took the largest drone and missile barrage of the entire war and corporate media couldn't be bothered to lead with it. Paul sits down with Preston Stewart — West Point 2009, field artillery officer, two tours in Afghanistan, and one of the fastest-growing independent national security voices on YouTube — to get the no-BS read on where we actually are. They get into the Strait of Hormuz, the exaggerations coming out of both the Iranian regime and the Trump regime, why drones matter more than ballistic missiles right now, and how Ukraine's "kinetic sanctions" are quietly bleeding the Russian economy dry. They dig into Trump's weak hand in Beijing, Taiwan's window of vulnerability, the terrorism threat we've stopped paying attention to, and the dangerous partisan politicization of the National Guard on American streets. If you're tired of cable-news noise and want a briefing that sounds like it came from someone who's actually been on the ground, this is the conversation. -WATCH full video of this episode here. -Millions of American veterans are being locked out of primary elections in the country they served. A former Canadian Armed Forces officer who served alongside Americans in Afghanistan tells us the constant anti-Canada rhetoric from the Trump administration is disturbing. A priest who counsels those inmates says state politicians are politicizing people's lives — and deaths. As investors sell off their government bonds at breakneck speed, one economist tells us the Bank of Canada is right to hold interest rates steady, even as a trade war and real wars shake the foundations of the global economy. Canadian scientists spent years investigating what's killing billions of sea stars in the Pacific. Now, they know what's responsible; they just have to figure out how to stop it.For the second time, now, 91-year-old Dale "Grey Beard" Sanders becomes the oldest person to complete the Appalachian Trail. He served in the U.S. Army and did a tour in Vietnam from 1966-1967, But even while he was serving overseas, plans were already in motion for him to become a New York City firefighter when he came home. In late 1969, Cassano joined the FDNY. By September 11, 2001, he was an assistant chief of operations overseeing Manhattan. He would finish his career as FDNY commissioner. In this edition of Veterans Chronicles, Cassano tells us about his service in Vietnam and becoming a firefighter. He also reveals how he first heard about the Al Qaeda terrorist attacks and why he knew instinctively after the first plane hit the World Trade Center that it was an act of terrorism.Cassano also explains the grisly scene when arriving at the World Trade Center and the flurry of orders he was given when the South Tower came down. He also talks about going to the hospital, immediately returning to work, and finally rejoining his family after almost 48 hours away.Later, Cassano details the challenges at Ground Zero and the sobering task of hiring many new firefighters after losing 343 in the World Trade Center. He also describes what President George W. Bush's visit to Ground Zero meant to the FDNY and what he hopes Americans will reflect upon 25 years after the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Marcus Aurelius Anderson sits down with Adam J. Johnson, a 13 year Army veteran, combat medic, drill sergeant, and discipline coach, for a raw conversation about identity, addiction, and discipline. Adam traces his path from a directionless ex athlete who gained weight up to 275 lbs, to a personal trainer struggling after the 2008 recession, to a 28 year old Army enlistee who became a decorated NCO and senior drill sergeant. He opens up candidly about years of secretly battling alcohol addiction while excelling professionally, the identity crisis that fueled it, and how he built consistent systems to finally break the cycle. The conversation covers his new book, Redefined: The Discipline, and its companion 90 day journal, both built around his five code RTD system for turning self-honesty into lasting discipline. Episode Highlights: 3:29 — Adam recounts gaining 120 lbs after his football career ended, and the wake-up call that pushed him into fitness and nutrition. 15:04 — He shares his biggest life lesson in adversity: failing SFAS (Special Forces selection) after two years of dedicated training. 18:01 — A candid account of secretly battling alcoholism while performing as a squared-away platoon sergeant, living what he calls a double life. 34:57 — Adam explains the RTD system, showing how identity, consistency, and self-trust form the real foundation of discipline. Adam J. Johnson spent over 13 years in the U.S. Army as a combat medic and drill sergeant, training thousands of soldiers to meet standards they didn't believe they could reach. A former college football hopeful and personal trainer, Adam overcame a personal battle with alcohol addiction to become a keynote speaker and discipline coach. He is the author of Redefined: The Discipline and creator of the RTD (Redefined: The Discipline) system, a five code framework built on identity, consistency, and self-trust. The waters are rough and Americans deserve a pathfinder who can actually read the map. Admiral James Stavridis — former NATO Supreme Allied Commander, former SOUTHCOM commander, and author of 2084: A Novel of Future War — returns to Independent Americans to cut through the noise on Trump's Iran roller coaster, the redirection of masked ICE agents into airport terminals, and the looming cyber threat almost no one in Washington is talking about. Paul and the Admiral trade a candid strategic assessment on the Strait of Hormuz, the thousand pounds of enriched uranium still unaccounted for, and the three specific things any serious observer should be watching right now. They also get real about the culture problem inside ICE, the checks that could still hold a rogue executive accountable — the courts, Congress, NATO, and the American people at the ballot box in November — and why the executive branch always wins the sprint but rarely the race. The Admiral makes the case for a centrist party that doesn't yet exist, names the cyber tower nobody's watching, and closes with a reminder about the young Americans in harm's way tonight. Victor Hugo Vaca Jr. shares his perspective on globalist machinations and details his experiences at the US Naval Academy, alleging that he witnessed systemic corruption and psychological grooming designed to create obedient “psychopaths.” He discusses how elite families are ratcheting up Agenda 2030, digital IDs, and 5G technology to establish global control since their plot is becoming obvious. Vaca believes China will come out number one and America will be relegated to the fourth or fifth position behind BRICS nations, highlighting a perceived shift in power from the West to the East, while warning of a future defined by mass surveillance and the erosion of civil liberties. He believes the dystopia has a silver lining and urges people to keep calm and flow. Watch on BitChute / Brighteon / Rumble / Substack / YouTube *Support Geopolitics & Empire! Rick Stroud and Steve Versnick break down the newly finalized Buccaneers practice squad, headlined by two familiar-feeling additions. Veteran quarterback Easton Stick — turning 31 on September 15 — joins as Jalon Daniels' new mentor and emergency QB3, reuniting him with offensive coordinator Zach Robinson, who worked him out as a pre-draft coach back when Stick was piling up a 49-3 record and four national championships at North Dakota State. Rick explains why the Bucs wanted a steady veteran voice in the quarterback room over another developmental arm, and why Stick — who's barely played in six NFL seasons behind Justin Herbert and later with Robinson in Atlanta — won out over re-signing Connor Bazelak. They also welcome back cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting, a key piece of the 2020 Super Bowl run (three postseason interceptions, including a momentum-swinging one in Green Bay), who brings much-needed experience to a young, thin secondary. Rick runs down the rest of the practice squad additions before previewing the two-week runway to the opener at Cincinnati, teasing — but not yet revealing — an area he thinks the Bucs could unexpectedly struggle. Then it's over to the Rays, whose wild week came back to earth with a 3-2 loss to the Mets Monday night, stranding the tying and go-ahead runs late. Rick and Steve also revisit the controversial catch-that-wasn't-quite-a-catch from the Padres series over the weekend, still unable to find a rule that explains how a ball secured in the glove for two steps became a home run when it popped out at the wall. Tampa Bay's lead over the Yankees is down to four games with 25 left to play, and they set up tonight's rematch with Freddy Peralta getting a shot at revenge against the Mets team that drafted and developed him. Plus, Aaron Donald's stunning $20 million comeback with the Rams, and an early look at the Lightning's revamped roster ahead of training camp. Hosted on Acast. Both of those things are true at the same time.A new Gallup poll shows most Americans don't believe the alien explanation for UAP, but the overwhelming majority believe their government is hiding something. The scientists actually reviewing the released footage say the files are too redacted to confirm anything either way.Tonight's briefing is cattle mutilation. After osteomyelitis took me away from training earlier this year, five weeks on the Sunshine Coast gave me an opportunity to begin rebuilding my body, reconnecting with martial arts and finding my feet again.Integrated MMA became my second home during that period—but my relationship with the gym and Veterans MMA began years earlier. I've trained with these men, benefited from the community they've built and fought under the Veterans MMA banner when I made my amateur boxing debut at their second charity fight night. Ted Hanlon and Jordan Southern were in my corner that night, while Rob Giuffrida has continued to open his gym, share his knowledge and create a place where veterans can train, connect and be themselves. In this episode, I sit down with all three men to explore the different experiences that have shaped Veterans MMA—and why the program matters.Former Royal Netherlands Marine, Australian infantry soldier and Middle East security contractor Ted Hanlon shares an extraordinary journey through service, combat, loss and the transition back into civilian life. After years spent operating in high-risk environments, accumulated injuries, isolation and excessive drinking gradually pulled him away from the man he wanted to be. Veterans MMA became the catalyst for change—helping Ted give up alcohol, rebuild his physical and mental health, reconnect with the civilian community and become a more present husband and father.Professional flyweight and Veterans MMA coach Jordan Southern explains how a decade of competitive gymnastics developed the strength, body awareness and composure under pressure that would later shape his career as a martial artist. After walking into Integrated MMA at 19, Jordan progressed from complete beginner to professional fighter and coach. He discusses the importance of training with intent and how Veterans MMA changed his reason for stepping into the cage. What began as an individual pursuit now represents a community that supports him and something bigger than himself.Integrated MMA owner and head coach Rob Giuffrida reflects on a lifetime spent learning, competing and coaching in martial arts. After training under some of the world's most respected coaches, Rob walked away from the corporate world to open his own gym. He helped develop Integrated MMA into one of Australia's strongest competitive teams, producing nationally ranked athletes and UFC-level fighters through a demanding culture of consistency, accountability and iron sharpening iron. Rob also explains why using martial arts in service of others has become one of the most meaningful chapters of his coaching career. These conversations also gave me an opportunity to reflect on my own transition—from soldier to coach, from rugby player to late-entry martial artist, and now from serious illness back towards training and competition. Different backgrounds brought all four of us to the same place: a gym where shared struggle creates connection, training restores purpose and everyone has a responsibility to make the people around them better. This episode is about much more than fighting. It is about rebuilding after life knocks you down, finding your tribe and becoming someone others can rely on.Shaun Kober is a Mindset & Performance Specialist, with a unique skillset forged in the trenches, through the various stages of life."I shouldn't be in the position I am right now."The odds were stacked against me:●       Poor family on welfare, eldest of 6 kids, parents didn't work, abusive step-dad, no electricity or running water for a 6 years period of my life●       Caught up with the wrong crowd, stealing, drugs, skipping school●       At 14 years old, I sat on a bus for 3 days with $50 in my pocket, to travel to the next State over West, to begin a new life in the workforce - 200014 - 20: I grew up and learned how to become a man through work and rugby20 - 26: I lived, trained and fought as a professional soldier, at a high level26 - 32: I became a personal trainer, after failing in my pursuit to become a firefighter32 - 38: I worked with, and won world titles with some of the best athletes on the planet, as their strength and conditioning coach38+: The next evolution begins #coachedbykobes#livetrainperform#mindsetandperformanceLive Life To The Fullest.Train To Your Potential.Perform At Your Best!https://www.coachedbykobes.com/

A retired four-star, four combat tours, three Purple Hearts, veteran of the National Security Council under three administrations. In this replay, he sits down with Paul Rieckhoff for a no-BS conversation about a moment most Americans still haven't fully absorbed: the U.S. is no longer trusted by its closest allies, our institutions have been hollowed out, and the most trusted institution in American life — the armed forces — is being dragged into domestic politics in ways that should alarm every citizen, regardless of party. McCaffrey walks through the politicization of the military and federal law enforcement, ICE units operating like infantry in Los Angeles, the 11th Airborne on standby for Minneapolis, and what the Insurrection Act would actually mean if Trump pulls that lever. He unpacks Davos, Greenland, the humiliation of our closest allies, and why "NATO is dead" is not hyperbole. He reflects on the quiet exit of the last U.S. troops from Iraq, the political failures that defined the forever wars, and the 60,000 Americans killed and wounded in the war on terror. The psychedelic renaissance is here — money is pouring in, states are legalizing, and a federal executive order has fast-tracked ibogaine research for veterans. But if you're a conservative, a skeptic, or just politically homeless, is there room for you in this movement? In this episode I welcome back therapist Karen King (last heard in episodes 81 and 97) alongside her co-author Wesley Smith, a small-c conservative who stumbled into psychedelics through a paragliding accident. Together they've written Sensible Psychedelics: Why the Psychedelic Renaissance Needs Conservatives, Skeptics, and the Politically Homeless. We dig into what Karen witnessed firsthand in the very first therapist training cohort: a week spent dismantling privilege and naming genders rather than discussing consciousness, clinical skills, or facilitation. We talk about why that ideological capture isn't just annoying — it's dangerous. When a patient's mind is cracked wide open in a psychedelic state, a facilitator who imprints their own politics is committing something close to abuse. Wesley shares the veterans angle, where an anti-colonial culture hopes to turn warriors into pacifists. But this isn't a cynical conversation. We explore the genuine healing psychedelics can offer — Karen's work helping a dying woman conquer her fear of death, Wesley's reconciliation with his late father — and ask the questions this movement keeps avoiding: Why does psychedelic culture skew so far left? Where are the liberals whose journeys made them more curious about people they'd dismissed? And can a self-regulating, transparent ecosystem — maybe even one built around churches — grow up outside the captured certification boards? Are you an ROGD parent looking to do some deep, inner work for healing? A trusted friend has a special small-group offering called “Parents Heal Together” which might be a good fit for you. The former founder of a multidisciplinary behavioral health clinic, she specializes in contemplative and psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy. With Wesley Smith, she co-authored the forthcoming Sensible Psychedelics: Why the Psychedelic Renaissance Needs Conservatives, Skeptics, and the Politically Homeless, which explores how psychedelics can bridge cultural divides rather than deepen them. Find her therapy practice at NewMindTherapy.com. Karen also hosts the Nuanced Therapist Network, a private, vetted community for heterodox therapists.Wesley Smith is a “small c” conservative psychonaut and writer working to bring the psychedelic renaissance out of the counterculture and into the living rooms of average Americans. After a head injury led him to explore nontraditional paths for healing, he found that psychedelics can deepen the values conservatives hold dear — faith, family, duty, and personal responsibility. His co-authored case in Sensible Psychedelics pairs evidence-based research with a culturally grounded argument for humility, gratitude, and moral clarity.[00:00:00] Start[00:03:15] Trump's Executive Order and State Psychedelic Laws[00:06:57] A Conservative's Accidental Path to Psychedelics[00:14:45] Karen's Path Through Ketamine-Assisted Therapy[00:18:50] Ideological Capture in Psychedelic Training[00:21:52] Imprinting Values, Vulnerability, and Veterans[00:29:07] Ketamine Case Study and Personal Growth[00:35:56] Why the Psychedelic World Skews Left[00:44:52] How Psychedelics Broadened Wesley's Empathy[00:48:33] Therapy as Dismantling Civilization[00:52:23] Regulation, Transparency, and Psychedelic ChurchesROGD REPAIR Course + Community gives concerned parents instant access to over 120 lessons providing the psychological insights and communication tools you need to get through to your kid. It's a trip over 50 years in the making. Two New Zealand frigates were sent to the Pacific to observe and protest French nuclear testing at Mururoa Atoll in 1973, exposing 500 sailors to radiation. On the way back one of those vessels, the HMNZS Canterbury, was invited to Rarotongo, but the ship's captain decided to head home instead. Now, 19 veterans from the tests are finally heading to the Cook Islands for one last tour of duty together. Jimmy Ellingham reports.

What would a Libertarian actually do if elected to Congress? Brian Lambert says Washington needs less power, Americans need more freedom, and the government needs to get out of your wallet. Josh Martens sits down with Brian Lambert, a Navy veteran and Libertarian candidate for Florida's 14th Congressional District, to break down his campaign and political philosophy. Lambert explains why he left the Republican Party, why his campaign centers on "your money, your freedom, your vote," and how he approaches federal spending, veterans' care, healthcare, war, surveillance, small business, and taxes. They dig into some of the biggest libertarian fights in American politics: • Cutting federal spending and returning education to local control • Protecting veterans while questioning America's military interventions • Getting government and insurance bureaucracies out of healthcare decisions • Ending warrantless mass surveillance and pushing back on Flock cameras Plus, Lambert explains why constitutional limits should come before political convenience and why reducing the IRS could give Americans more financial freedom.
