A update and audio version of our Nov 2022 newsletter.
Made this a year ago when someone had me ALL THE WAY FUCKED UP. I was heated, so I put those feelings in this mix - a collection of songs that say i'm that bish, i'm not taking no one's crap, at the end of it *looks left, looks right NOT ME, Not.The.One. So then, a year passes by and I never released it because I was in my head about it not being perfect. I'm letting it go out into the world because it's time to stop over thinking and I hope this reaches someone who can relate.. In the words of Queen Badu "i'm a artist and i'm sensitive about my shit".

This episode's theme is DRUGS. Amelian and Justice talk about how Imposter syndrome and how experiences with DRUGS/ MEDICINE help shape our perspectives in this journey called life. From sugar to fentanyl, we think it's whack how the general population carries judgemental mindsets that lack empathy for people who use as a form of grieving especially at the hands of the system at large evil companies *cough BIG PHARMA and THE UNITED STATES GOV'MENT. We are all born of this Earth and been inoculated with all types of ish-- vaccines, media propaganda. Whatever drugs you think you ain't taking you taking it, the bottom line is “drugs” ain't all powders and pills. Ego is a drug, war is a drug, shopping is a drug, othering and racism are all drugs. Have a dose of us cause it ain't you that's fucked up, it's the world that's got us all the way fucked up. Thank you to the Uhuruverse for schooling Amelian about the terms "addict" and "drugs". Truly a life changing conversation, your wisdom, compassion and intellect are greatly appreciated. Support Uhuru's dream house, a safe space in NOLA for Black trans and queer folk. Thank you Uhuru ! Sending love to FUPU, beloved SWI members that have contributed love and knowledge to the collective. https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-fund-the-new-fupu-album https://www.patreon.com/uhurudreamhouse

Deceased loved ones visiting us in our dreams is Real! Whoever you are, know it's okay to cry and grieve! You ain't the only one who feels loss the world is at a loss too. This episode is dedicated to Ginger Zurita and Ian Alexander Desdune II, two souls who kept it 100 and inspire us to say “love you” everyday. Manifest little manifesters! intro song: tell me where the road turns reverbed and slowed by mythical jukebox we do not own the rights to this song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BM5sNXJYhbY&list=PLWZCtfkgzTv9v6MKxHC9zNqsNQbWWukjr&index=2
Imposter Syndrome Survivors Club is a comedic spiritual audio offering from creative soul mates and thought partners Justice Maya Singleton (he/him) and Amelian Kashiro Hamilton (she/her/they/them), the minds behind Sisters With Invoices ( SWI ). SWI is an intersectional community safe space for BIPOC LGBTQIA+ queer creatives and artists of color navigating through the fuck shit entertainment industry at large. Justice and Amelian's goals with this podcast is to dismantle “imposter syndrome” one dialogue spiral at a time by reminding all survivors to listen to the voice as a means to uplift their spirit. Listen to us as we shade these energetic forces that perpetuate spaces of harm and self affliction, because we refuse to let that get in the way of our joy. Join our survivors club, let us remind you that “when the world has got you fucked up, it's not you that's fucked up, but it's the world”.
Intention: To re enforce your importance, your value, your worth. You are worthy. Though the world, media and oppressive forces want to constantly remind you that you are not, you are. Take what’s rightfully yours - your freedom, right to peace, protection, freedom and abundance. We ask for light in these challenging times, we ask for protection. Love is the answer, universe hear our cries. Subscribe To Sisters With Invoices Multi Media Newsletter : https://sisterswithinvoices.substack.com/
A cute lil mix I made for episode of OnMomma's show Club Proxii. Check it out here - https://www.mixcloud.com/lowergrandradio/club-proxii-003/ Inspired by brown lipliner, clear gloss. Remembering what it felt like to get ready for the club with da gUrLz. The smell of weed, liqour, body glitter and expensive perfume.
