Dr. Michael Šust escaped communist Czechoslovakia for freedom in the United States over 30 years ago. He now serves as a pastor spreading messages of hope and freedom. Pastor Michael is the founder and director of Vertical Fellowship officially launched as an independent Christian organization in 2020. He studied voice, piano and composition at the National Conservatory of Music in the Czech Republic and earned his doctorate in musical arts from Boston University. He also attended Covenant Seminary in St. Louis to supplement his theological education. Michael spent 17 years serving the Lord as a worship pastor and 14 years as a lead pastor in Bible-teaching churches in four U.S. states. They have two wonderful daughters and four grandchildren. Together with their daughter, Christy, they travel and perform as The Šust Family Singers. Ray Armas first escaped Cuba by windsurfing over 90 miles, over 10 miles, from Cuba to the Florida Keys. After being brought back to Cuba, he spent many years applying for refugee status in America, and once he became an American, Ray immediately joined the US military to say thank you to the country that gave him freedom. This is Ray's story. 

Daniel Di Martino is a Venezuelan freedom activist and economist. He was born and raised in Venezuela, where he experienced the terrible consequences of socialism firsthand. After leaving Venezuela for the United States in 2016, he has dedicated himself to explaining how socialism destroyed his homeland, advocating for its freedom, and stopping this ideology from ever being implemented in America and elsewhere. He graduated with a BA in Economics from Indiana University in Indianapolis and is currently pursuing a PhD in Economics at Columbia University. Daniel has appeared dozens of times on national TV channels such as Fox News and CNN, written for the USA Today and other news outlets, and spoken at college campuses and events such as CPAC 2020 and the Heritage Foundation's Resource Bank and Gala.
