El Concello de Ferrol ha iniciado la cuenta atrás para la celebración del Entroido 2026, que se desarrollará entre los días 15 y 20 de febrero con un programa que incluye el tradicional desfile y festival de comparsas, además de varias fiestas infantiles dirigidas al público familiar. Los actos festivos arrancarán el domingo 15 de febrero con una fiesta infantil temática pirata en la plaza de Armas, en horario de 17:00 a 20:00 horas. Los más pequeños podrán disfrutar de un baile de disfraces y talleres creativos como elaboración de gorros y parches piratas, colgantes marinos y actividades de globoflexia. El lunes 16 se celebrará el día grande del Entroido en la ciudad con el desfile de comparsas, que partirá a las 18:00 horas desde la plaza de España y finalizará en la plaza de Armas. Allí tendrá lugar, a partir de las 19:30 horas, el festival de comparsas, uno de los actos más esperados de estas fiestas. Las celebraciones concluirán el viernes 20 de febrero con una nueva fiesta infantil, esta vez de temática Disney, en la calle Perú (Ultramar), entre las 17:00 y las 19:30 horas. Habrá animación musical, dulces, pintacaras y la presencia de mascotas y personajes inspirados en el universo Disney. Posteriormente, a las 20:15 horas, comenzará un pasacalles por el barrio, seguido de un nuevo festival de comparsas. El Entroido se despedirá con el tradicional Entierro de la Sardina en la plaza de Ultramar, previsto alrededor de las 23:00 horas, acto simbólico que pondrá el broche final a las celebraciones.
