Daniel Di Martino is a Venezuelan freedom activist and economist. He was born and raised in Venezuela, where he experienced the terrible consequences of socialism firsthand. After leaving Venezuela for the United States in 2016, he has dedicated himself to explaining how socialism destroyed his homeland, advocating for its freedom, and stopping this ideology from ever being implemented in America and elsewhere. He graduated with a BA in Economics from Indiana University in Indianapolis and is currently pursuing a PhD in Economics at Columbia University. Daniel has appeared dozens of times on national TV channels such as Fox News and CNN, written for the USA Today and other news outlets, and spoken at college campuses and events such as CPAC 2020 and the Heritage Foundation's Resource Bank and Gala. Without complete military support his government will not be able to withstand protest and calls for Juan Guaido to assume the presidency.Socialist Venezuela has been rocked by protests for years and the problems have only gotten worse. But last month saw Juan Guaido declare himself interim president of Venezuela and garnered him massive support from Western Nations.Far leftist Pro-Maduro protesters are not bowing out and due to propaganda it is hard to know what is actually happening.
