The NFL Preseason is officially underway and as for the New England Patriots, a lot more questions than answers have arisen as September nears.  We thought it was peculiar to see almost none of the projected starters play in the first preseason game.  We discuss why Bill Belichick may have gone that route.  Also, who will be calling plays Matt Patricia or Joe Judge and why is it a big secret?  The offense has struggled mightily throughout the summer at Training Camp are we hitting the panic button?  And finally, soon-to-be Patriots Hall of Famer and Super Bowl VI hero James White has called it a career so we end the show on his importance to the team over the last 8 years.

We answer a bunch of your questions on the New England Patriots heading into the dog days of summer.

A CELTICS EPISODE!   It doesn't happen often but as the Celtics are deep in the middle of an entertaining NBA Finals we give our thoughts on how surprised we are the Green made it to this point, breakdown the superstars and their impact in this series, and if the crowd is or isn't affecting the players.

Tim McKone of 98.5 The Sports Hub and host of the world famous McKone Zone segment joined us at Straight Facts Homie to react to and predict the New England Patriots 2022 regular season record after the schedule was released.  All four voices on this episode have a different win total for the Pats and explain their reasoning.  McKone also gives his thoughts on the Patriots Draft picks of last month and their offseason thus far including the questions regarding the coaching staff.

Mike Giardi of the NFL Network was gracious enough to spend some time with the SFH crew and really dive into what the Patriots might be looking to do in the NFL Draft in two weeks.  Also, Bill Belichick has constructed the coaching staff in a way that leaves many scratching their heads but what Giardi believes is important to Belichick may make this situation clearer.  Furthermore, Mike gives his prediction for how the Patriots will fare in the 2022 campaign, along with MUCH more!

Matt McCarthy is the most versatile sports talk radio personality at 98.5 The Sports Hub.  He can talk about paint drying and make it entertaining!  He joined the show spitting straight facts on the incendiary beginning to NFL Free Agency including the frustrating start to the offseason the New England Patriots are having.  Also, branching away from football, Matt gives his thoughts on the Red Sox as Free Agency has begun and how far the Celtics can go.

Phil Perry is one of the best New England Patriots reporters of ALL TIME and we were honored to have him on the show talking Pats with us.  Phil shared with us that the man who has more interceptions than any other player in the NFL over the last 4 years, J.C. Jackson is NOT closing the door on the Patriots.  The first-ever Rapid Fire Round on Straight Facts Homie wasn't that rapid but we aren't complaining at all!

We had a great conversation with Trenni Kusnierek of NBC Sports Boston the New England Patriots that included what she believes the Pats should focus on this NFL offseason. Some of those consist of getting a coordinator and getting a "binky" for Mac Jones.  Then maybe the Patriots can get farther in the playoffs in the 2022 season.

Bob Socci has had so many incredible calls during his time as the play-by-play announcer of the New England Patriots and with more to come, we had the privilege to have Bob back on the show recapping the season that was and what's to come for the Pats.  Socci talks specifically about the many avenues the team can take when Free Agency begins and during the NFL Draft.  He also grades Mac Jones' rookie year along with much more!

Host of the ratings giant that is Felger & Massarotti on 98.5 The Sports Hub Mike Felger hops on with us at Straight Facts Homie and reacts to the Tom Brady retirement report and Brady's response to them.  We also discuss longtime New England Offensive Coordinator Josh McDaniels becoming the new Head Coach of the Las Vegas Raiders with Felger and what that means for the Patriots going forward.  Enjoy!

There will be no NFL preseason and players are opting out all across the league because of the pandemic that still looms over the United States and world.  We have Breaking News mid-show as we get caught up on everything that has happened since we last spoke including a blockbuster change and a franchise name change.  As Training Camps have officially opened, we may be watching one of the sloppiest NFL seasons IF a NFL season even happens this autumn for various reasons in which Mason, Walter, and Jon discuss.

We had the privilege to speak with the GM of Baltimore Ravens Eric DeCosta and he spoke of many things including his upbringing in Taunton, MA, and his NFL Draft strategy.  We also asked about Antonio Brown and if the Ravens share a mutual interest with him and the possibility of the NFL season being delayed.
