Chris and the fellas get deep with the NFL Week 16 previews. A great slate this weekend with both Saturday and Sunday games has us stoked for the playoff race! The Bears and Packers do battle to claim the NFC North with only a few games to play. Will Caleb Williams or Jordan Love lead their team to victory? In the NFC South, the Panthers and Buccaneers scrape for their own divisional lead. The Jaguars and Broncos meet with the Broncos needing a win to keep their lead in the race for the AFC's #1 seed. The Steelers and Lions meet with the loser having their playoff hopes take a huge hit and you know Dan Campbell will do anything to stop that from happening to Detroit. The Ravens need a win over the Patriots to remain in the AFC's playoff race and it could be a battle between QBs (Lamar Jackson and Drake Maye) that we'll see for years to come. We're also keeping an eye on the Chiefs to see how they compete without Patrick Mahomes and the Browns solely for the Sack Watch of Myles Garrett. We finish with a couple game previews that were lost in the Bermuda Triangle and our Thursday Night Time Machine. For a game, at least, the Eagles looked like world-beaters, not the hardest thing to do these days when facing the lowly Las Vegas Raiders. The real question, however, isn't if the 31-0 shutout win is going to be a cure all for the issues that ailed the Eagles during their three-game losing streak; it's whether the progress the team showed Sunday can ultimately translate to the postseason, which arrives next month. Possible? Perhaps, but with two of their final three games coming against a weakened opponent, the Eagles might not know exactly what they're capable of until the playoffs get here. The Philadelphia Inquirer's Jeff McLane and Marcus Hayes scrutinize changes that surfaced in the Eagles' victory over Vegas, starting with the performance of none other than quarterback Jalen Hurts. 00:00 The Eagles did what they were supposed to do 01:23 Assessing schematic changes and their impact on Jalen Hurts 10:45 Getting the run game going 20:14 Can this defense get the Eagles back to the Super Bowl? 25:49 The truth about “outside noise” and human nature unCovering the Birds is a production of The Philadelphia Inquirer and KYW Newsradio Original Podcasts. The Philadelphia Eagles beat the Las Vegas Raiders 31-0 in what the team and fan base hope proves to be the Get Right Game the Eagles were in need of. Jalen Hurts led an offense that appeared to be on cruise control as they easily posted 31 points in a little more than three quarters of play, before the back-ups got some run. Aside from the shutout Vic Fangio's defense allowed just 75 yards of offense, the fewest allowed to an Eagles opponent since 1955, when the Eagles allowed 49 yards against the Chicago Cardinals. The WIP Morning Show give their immediate reactions to the Eagles' dominant win over the Las Vegas Raiders, 31-0. Joe DeCamara asks the team how settled down they feel about the Eagles now.
