How are we feeling after Eliza & Rodney's sudden split? BIP has definitely been one for the dramatics this season, but we weren't hoping for this. We have our first ever Bachelor In Paradise Split, emphasize 'split,' we're not on a break... or are we? The OG Women are told to leave the beach to live in a beautiful estate while the men stay on the beach, with NEW arrivals coming! The OG men are met with new women, while the OG women are heartbroken, until new men surprise them as well.Michael & Danielle are on the longest 1 on 1 date in history, which somehow leads to them being exempt from adhering to 'The Split.' That's weird, that's suspicious. The OG guys on the sand are slowly cracking, but not to be upstaged by a couple of OG women doing the same at the estates. Temptation Island is working, we think? The anticipation of how this will conclude and who will choose who consumes us at this point. You know who doesn't have to wait to make a decision though, Rodney. After his 1 on 1 with Eliza, Lace pops up, and now we have a pivotal talk and decision on our hands. There's a suitcase on the beach, so let's unpack it here now that we're one rose ceremony in, women have the roses, and there's more guys than "F's to give." Bachelor In Paradise (BIP) is nothing short of twists and turns, but what else should we have expected?Ashley & Jared arrive to remind the group that the process works, while they spend an unwarranted honeymoon on the beach. They're Bachelor royalty, definitely classy, and a little gassy to say the least. Genevieve, Aaron, and Justin are in a love triangle, however, following Justin's Birthday, that triangle ain't looking too symmetrical. Another love triangle is still on point on each side, Shanae, Logan, & James, which way will that one go? Sierra is the next person to unfortunately self eliminate, while Salley FINALLY ARRIVES! Then not to be shown up, also self eliminates faster than the word "Pizza" out of Peter's mouth. Speaking of Pizza Pete, here's here! We applaud you for taking Brittany on the date, but we don't applaud the execution. If we could yelp your service, we'd give you a 1 out of 5 stars for trying. Lastly, it's everyone's birthday. We have a big name walking down to the beach, and no it's not (fill in the blank)... it's Victoria Fuller! Paradise is starting to heat up and Fuller is here to turn up the thermostat. FINALE PT. 2 LIVED UP TO THE HYPE! Or at least, Ivan & Demar felt that way. In the words of Katy Perry, Tino 'kissed a girl, and he liked it,' or didn't like it... not exactly sure at this point, but all we do know for sure is that girl was NOT Rachel! That's where the plot thickens and where Tino's chances of regaining trust and love in Rachel, slimmed. Rachel and Erich seemed to have figured out what works for them, and are navigating their way through their love for one another. Despite Erich's high and low moments, the fellas valued his urge to accept responsibility and continue to move forward with Gabby. There was an 'elephant in the room' though, but unfortunately, that 'elephant' seemed to have faded into the background like it happened 10 years ago...Lastly, we can't forget...Zach is the new Bachelor! Zach we wish you the best and an even better memory, go out there and be entertaining. Demar believes in your potential, and Ivan believes you will be married at the end of your journey. What in the 'H-E-Double Hockey Sticks' is going on in these last few guys for Rachel & Gabby. This season of The Bachelorette is nothing short of twists and turns, and (some of) the men are not feeling like taking a turn towards an engagement. We understand, there's an abundance of reasons why someone would want to prolong getting down on one knee, however, the frequency of this is starting to become alarming... yet refreshing? The fellas, Ivan & Demar, jump right into the three main topics of the episode - Erich, Aven & Zach. Erich is doing Bachelor Nation no favors with his recent news and rumors circulating with his personal life, while Gabby is dealing with his dating proposal on the screen. Rachel officially parts ways with Zach, after what feels like the third choice out of the three remaining men for her. After watching this fast-forwarded version of 'Hometown Week' on The Bachelorette, it seemed as if every new family was followed by a commercial. If you're not new to the franchise, you know that usually the franchise likes to take it slow around this time of the season. We get to learn more and gain depth with the remaining contestants. However, this time around, it felt like we were rushing to show next week's episode.
