Dear Dave, I'm 25, and I work as a property manager making ,000 a year. I'm in the middle of paying off my debts, but I'm struggling to stay intense about it. I'm in a long-distance relationship that forces me to spend a lot of money to see my boyfriend. He's not working right now, and it's been a while since his last job. That means I'm always spending extra on gas and other things to make the eight-hour, round-trip drive twice a month so we can spend time together. We've been together for almost two years, but I'm honestly... Article Link
Listen Now to 012 WTFuture Crazy enough to Actually Watch this ‘AI Slop’ 012 WTFuture — The Intelligence Age: From Hyper Local Agents to Long Distance Relationships It appears we are now leaving the information age and diving headfirst into an “intelligence age” . But what powers this transition? Chips? Beliefs? Noble Gas? And hyperlocal? WTF AL!” In this jam-packed podcast episode, the hosts geek out over Nvidia’s massive announcements at Computex, highlighting how new hardware like the Vera Rubin data centers and Jetson Thor chips are bringing agentic AI and supercomputing power right to our laptops and home robots. Soon you too will likely have loads of intelligence agents doing your bidding, should you want such powers. Having these personal AI buddies run locally instead of in the cloud not only keeps your private secrets safe from getting sold or hacked on the dark web, but it also stops the our species from burning up gigawatts of electricity just to answer our nick nack reality questions or generate click bait. The answer? Check out what Bobby has to say about new local AI buddies! Thanks to a video submission by Dr. Jabir, our crew marveled at a mysterious giant potato-shaped heavenly body eclipsing the sun, as captured by NASA’s Perseverance rover.. “What body is it,?” you might ask. Think about it for a second and you’ll likely get this one right..still, it’s amazing to see! We also debuts a video short, humorously recounting a 59,000-year-old Neanderthal root canal successfully performed with an ancient stone routing tool! Thanks to the powers given to us by our humble AI servants, we have brought this scientific research to life! Some say the ending is a little kitch, but Al likes it, and thinks you will to. Let us know, one way or the other. And was it fun for you to watch? The conversation then blasts off into the quantum realm, debating Mrs. Future’s speculative theory that particles are actually micro black holes—surprisingly an idea even the AI Grok seemingly approved of! The hosts further bend notions of reality by exploring the idea that human consciousness literally arises from quantum computations happening inside tiny carbon “microtubules” in our brain’s neurons. This quantum connection might even explain wild, Matrix-style phenomena like time dilation during life-or-death car crashes. Finally, things get delightfully mythic as the episode wraps up with Sun’s “Brief HerStory of Time,” exploring how the spring months got their names from powerful mythological figures, such as the starry Pleiades sisters bringing in May, and the fiercely accountable, peacock-wielding Roman goddess Juno reigning over June. btw, Happy June!
Hello Listeners!

This episode explores whether it's fair—or even realistic—to expect strict monogamy when two people live apart, and what really holds long-distance relationships together. Inside This Episode:

On today's show, I discuss long distance dynamics and what actually determines whether they survive or slowly erode. I break down why people choose distance in the first place, especially within the lifestyle, what structure is required to make it sustainable, and the psychological strain that often goes unnamed. We look at attachment activation, idealization, emotional labor imbalance, and the difference between intensity and integration. Long distance is not inherently weak, but it is structurally demanding, and this episode lays out what that really means in practice.Continue the discussion on Fetlife: @Enhanced-MindDon't forget to hit the follow button and rate my show 5 stars so others may find it. Starting sexual conversations can feel silly or awkward, but it's a great way to get to know someone and their preferences. Especially at a distance, talking about what turns you on can cut through some of the unknowns in long-distance romance. The tarot reading this week was about the risks of long-distance dating and moving to an unknown place. I always go for it. Worst case, you move home or find a new life in a wonderful location. I end with questions to start sexual conversations since communication and sex continue to intertwine. What places do you want to get laid? What are you into? It's a good idea to ask yourself these questions first so you can write the most seductive answers possible—and for introspection, of course! ⚠️ These are performances and for entertainment purposes only. Happy New Year and Post Valentines Day Yes, it has been a long time since I posted, mostly because I have been busy with work and personal commitments and projects but recently, I have decided to "lean" back into the "dating pool". Like many of us, I don't NEED someone, but it would be nice to have a companion/partner. Reluctantly I subscribed to Match.com again and registered on Tinder, Bumble and Hinge - what the hell am I doing...ha ha! I have not had any success in any of these in the past so I thought I would try one last time. (wish me luck) I am also going to get out more and see if I can meet someone in the "wild" by playing golf, pickleball, day hikes, sporting events and more. Here is a link from TicTok regarding the "Tarantula Woman" - https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZThHd1yK8/I have never heard the term before but as I look back on my last "relationship" this is exactly the woman I was seeing and I was too blind to her behavior until now, and now I see who she was and am glad that I ended that "relationship" a few years ago as it was very draining in many ways. I would be interested in hearing your thoughts on this as I am certain that there are men like this too!

Long-distance relationships can feel like a never-ending uphill climb. When there are miles between you and your partner, it's easy to fall into patterns that make connecting feel more like a chore than a choice. Whether you're separated by a two-hour drive or multiple time zones, the question eventually surfaces: "How do we keep going without it feeling like endless work?"We understand this struggle deeply. The fatigue that comes with maintaining connection across distance is real and valid. But what if the solution isn't about working harder, but about reimagining what your relationship is actually for? What if the distance itself offers unique opportunities that proximity never could? In this episode, we talk about:— The importance of clarifying the purpose of your relationship and how this purpose might shift over time— Why mono-normative expectations can create unnecessary pressure in long-distance relationships— How to design relationship rituals that create meaning without becoming another obligation— The value of regularly revisiting and refreshing your relationship agreements— Understanding the unique grief that comes with long-distance relating and how to honor it— Finding the "golden shadows" of distance—the unexpected benefits that proximity doesn't offer— Why endurance alone isn't enough to sustain connection, and how meaning-making transforms the experience— The danger of idealizing proximity and forgetting the challenges that come with day-to-day relating— Creating structure that allows for both stability and novelty in your connection— Practical ways to inject fresh energy and imagination into long-distance relationshipsResources mentioned in this episode:— Francis Weller's work on griefJOIN The Year Of Opening® community for a full year of learning & support. Long distance relationships can feel intoxicating. The late-night calls. The fantasy. The sense that if it weren't for geography, this could really be something. But when does distance deepen connection—and when does it quietly keep us stuck in something that can't truly grow? In this episode of the Love Life Podcast, we go deeper than ever on long distance love. We talk about why these connections can feel so powerful, how fantasy can sneak in and blur reality, and the often-overlooked skill of restraint (knowing when not to let yourself fall, even when attraction is there). This episode is about discernment, self-respect, and learning how to protect your heart without closing it off . . . whether the person you're talking to lives across the world or just across town. -----►► Tired of relationships that go nowhere?
