We know through scripture how God feels about pride, (proverbs 8:13, Proverbs 11:2, Proverbs 16:5, Proverbs 16:18) yet it's a feeling that we human beings are drawn to and so easily governed by. In this episode we explore why this could be, we also try to unpack the intricate relationship between pride and pain and how this plays out in the relationships marriage and sex. Episode FT: Sarah and Junior @auxanoldn and Stephanie @stephtoit.
Deciding who we want to commit to spending the rest of our lives with is one of the most important decisions we will make in life, so it's not a decision we can afford to take lightly. Doing our due diligence before making any important decision is crucial, but what does that process look like in the context of relationships and marriage? We share our thoughts on this question using the story of Abigail, Nabal and David (1 Samuel 25) as our point of reference. Episode FT. Elizabeth @elizabethjum, Junior & Sarah @auxanoldn, Stephanie @stephtoit
Lust is a heavy topic and so, it can be easier to keep the conversation at surface level or not talk about it at all. Because of this, many of us suffer in silence as the effects of lust spread and wreak havoc in different areas of our lives, leaving us in constant damage control mode. We have to get real with each other and ourselves, have real conversations and let the word of God be our guide if we're going to break harmful cycles and walk in a manner that's worthy of the calling to which we have been called (Ephesians 4:1). In this episode we try to do just that with the topic of lust. Episode FT. Receiving a gift from God is a wonderful thing, especially if it's something you've been praying for, for a long time. Sometimes the excitement of receiving a gift whether it's marriage, a new job, financial breakthrough etc can shift our focus away from the gift giver... God. In the 5th episode of this season, we're exploring this all too common occurrence using Eli's interaction (or lack thereof) with God in 1 Samuel 3 as our point of reference. Episode FT: Joseph @esscogrxm, Junior and Sarah @auxanoldn, Stephanie @stephtoit. Follow the podcast @thewalkpodtalk
What does God mean when he calls us to be holy? And why does it seem that holiness is so misunderstood, downplayed and sometimes completely ignored in our world today? Even among christians? In this episode we explore holiness, it's impact on our relationship with God and the way we navigate relationships, intimacy and sex. Episode FT. Adaora Inyama @adaora_x, Junior and Sarah Giokabari @auxanoldn & Stephanie Erivo @stephtoit. Follow the podcast @thewalkpodtalk
Weariness is an emotion that most, if not all of us will experience at some point in our lives but it can easily go unnoticed. How we handle weariness matter as it can so easily take the driver's seat in our minds, rule our decision making and determine our actions and how near or far to Christ we place ourselves. With Abram, Sarai and Hagar's story (Genesis 16) as our anchor for this episode, we explore the Christian experience of weariness, faith and relationship. Episode FT. Amede Unuabona (@amedeuniverse), Junior and Sarah Giokabari (@auxanoldn) and Stephanie Erivo (@stephtoit).
How do we define love? What happens when that love isn't enough for a relationship to work well? These are some of the questions we explore in the second episode of this new season. With the account of Jacob, Rachel and Leah's complicated union (Genesis 29) as our point of reference, we explore the concept and characteristics of love and how our ideas of love compare to that of it's creator... God Episode FT. Sarah and Junior Giokabari @auxanoldn & Stephanie Erivo @stephtoit.
In this new season we're walking with Auxano London, through a 9 - part series on love, intimacy and relationships. In this first episode, we're exploring what it means to experience isolation while navigating the world of dating and relationships as well as the effect of fear in the decision making process. Episode Ft. Junior and Sarah Giokabari @auxanoldn & Stephanie Erivo @stephtoit
Happy New Year Friends! By the grace of God we're here in 2023, and a new year makes room for new conversations. In preparation for season 2, I've been sifting through previous recordings and came across this episode recorded last year January. In this episode, we shared our thoughts on what it means to have heaven on earth, and why Jesus instructed us to pray for this during His sermon on the mount (Matthew 6:10). It's a timely episode despite being a year old and one that we hope will serve as helpful food for thought in this first week of a new year. Episode Ft - Jayde, Penny, Stephanie

Navigating Family relationships can be challenging in so many ways, so in this episode we explore some of those challenges by unpacking some of our own related experiences. We tackle biological and church family dynamics and look at what has and hasn't worked for us in the past, as well as what the word of God lets us know about God's heart for family and the role we play in it. Though it's a slightly longer episode than the rest of the Intentional Summer series, it's for good reason! And as usual we look forward to hearing your thoughts and feelings! Episode FT - Adaora @adaora_x, Anthony @anthonyblaizeig, Esther @esthxrswanderlust, Stephanie @stephtoit
Friendship is one of, if not the most intentional relationship we experience, yet it can be one of the most difficult to maintain especially as adults. So join us as we talk about it! Episode ft. David @wehinm, Elizabeth @elizabethjum, Penny @pennyade_xo, Stephanie @stephtoit
Often when we hear the word "Intimacy" we automatically think about sex, however physical intimacy is just one of many types of intimacy that impact our relationships and as human beings we're intricately designed with a need for intimacy, so in this episode we're talking about being intentional with meeting that need.
