It's been a minute, or two....or thousands, since we recorded but that's life. We are always more active this time of the year and we wanted to jump on here and kick off season 5 with a quick episode...or not so quick. We cover our 2024 deer hunting plans and then dive into some Detroit fire department stuff. Hope you enjoy this episode and look forward to more.

Niko, Steve, Doug, and Zig get Alex from East 2 West Hunts on the phone to talk about his full scale hunt planning tag application business. This guys created a pretty amazing service and if you have any interest in hunting outside of your normal realm, he's the guy to talk to. We recorded this in an ice fishing shanty so bear with the extra noises.

Zig and hunter tell their 2023 buck stories, which are fairly interesting. Zig talks about how all the stars had to align in order for these deer to be in his possession. And niko talks about him sucking at deer hunting this year.

After our first evening in Kentucky we all sat down and gave out whitetail reports.

We are on our way to our 1 week in November public land hunt and recorded our first episode of the trip in our vehicles. We plan to keep these going as we move through the week.

In this episode zig starts out with a rant on how he feels about folks who don't like the youth hunt in Michigan. It then is joined by his kids, wife, and father to discuss day one of their 2023 youth hunt. Each kid tells their perspective on it, including Owen, the 4 year old. If you don't like the youth hunt, you should at least listen to zigs rant...if you like kids, and the youth hunt, you will love this episode.
