Set Free guides individuals through the process of finding freedom from various forms of spiritual and emotional bondage. In addition, Dean has a teaching ministry in which he shares the profound wisdom of God revealed through Freedom Ministry. In his personal life, Dean finds joy in his marriage to his beloved wife, Sharie. Together, they are blessed with six daughters, four sons-in-law, and eighteen grandchildren. Before dedicating himself to ministry, Dean successfully ran a business called Action Packaging for 23 years. When he's not fulfilling his calling, Dean takes pleasure in spending quality time with his family and pursuing outdoor activities. As an enthusiastic sportsman, he cherishes moments spent hunting, fishing, and retreating to “Deer Camp” in the UP of Michigan. In this podcast Dean tells how Set Free Ministries continues to touch thousands of lives both locally and around the world. He says that a vast majority of the people coming into their West Michigan offices are followers of Christ but who are being held captive by lies they have embraced either intentionally or unintentionally. Ultimately, lies enslave, but truth sets us free! And so many of the people who engage in freedom appointments at Set Free do in fact receive a wonderful measure of God's healing touch. Dean also describes how their Set Free Global division is seeing so many lives come to faith in Christ and growing into dynamic leaders for Christ who are passing His truth onto many more, all for His glory. The stories are truly exciting! Finally, Dean shares how, in our age of growing anxiety and worry, we can find God's peace and joy as we concentrate on His truth and His promise to be with us and care for us. So we can take those scary steps of faith as we keep our eyes on Him.

In today's episode, those storms down here got REAL bad (01:15), and poor Tyler got some of the worst of it (04:30)... We're glad that everyone was safe, but some of our stands weren't quite as lucky as us (09:14). Will has been running the chainsaw to clear up some remaining limbs, and it will WEAR YOU OUT (16:42)! What are the pros of a tornado destroying our property (24:32)? Looks like we're not the only ones who got spooked by the weather, because those gobblers are M.I.A (28:08). Mikey and Malcom are gearing up to head off to Texas to hopefully catch some big birds over there (38:47). Mikey picked himself up a new turkey gun, and that thing has got some KICK to it (42:00)! We've got another handicap hunt coming up here soon courtesy of Southern Outdoors Unlimited (45:10)! Finally, y'all have been KILLING it on the Turkey Call competition, but there's still time left to get your gobble on for a chance at these AWESOME calls (48:49)!

Deer camp vibes are in full swing! We're chatting coyotes, chili, and classic deer camp camaraderie. Friends of Eric's take the mic in place of Greg and Derek as the crew dives into everything from quick gear grabs to KwikTrip runs, sharing laughs and stories about public land struggles, predator encounters, and the timeless "scent control vs. luck" debate. With callers weighing in from South Carolina to the Nicolet National Forest, the hunting spectrum is as broad as the variety of firearms—30.30s, 300 Blackouts, and even a muzzleloader's and the 6.5 Creedmoor. Meanwhile, we honor the unspoken camp traditions, from splitting venison with the crew to arguing over who's packed and who's procrastinating. Good luck out there, hunters.
