Cameron Young got it done on Sunday at TPC Sawgrass for his 2nd career win on the PGA Tour and biggest of his career yet to date. The current number 4 player in the world used a birdie on 17 and a huge drive on 18 to catapult him to a one shot victory over Matthew Fitzpatrick, who missed an 8 footer for par and the tie on 18. Ludvig Aberg held a three shot lead midway through the round but collapsed, opening the door for Young and Fitzpatrick to duke it out down the stretch. We will discuss this and all the happenings from the Players Championship. On LIV, Bryson DeChambeau won in SIngapore after Richard T. Lee missed a very short putt that would have forced a playoff. PGA Tour CEO, Brian Rolapp, laid out 6 possible changes that could be coming to the PGA Tour, including the return of match play! It's still on, isn't it? A great game for the neutral, a point gained but oh so close to being more. Archie hosts and is joined by regulars Chris and Mark, and BBC Radio Devon commentator Michael McCann, to bring some extra insight to a fascinating afternoon. Not that you would have been thinking too positively after five minutes. A good attack turned into some horrific defending and a cross or a shot and a flap – 1–0 down. But it didn't feel all doom and gloom, and the Cheltenham Two combined from a well-worked set play: a great finish and a fantastic hobby horse celebration. Reading then exploited what felt like early-season defending to take the lead and it really didn't let up until half-time.Into the second half and a combination of Argyle looking good and Reading sitting back brought a deserved goal for the relentless Caleb Watts. Should Curtis have made a different choice or should we be grateful for his relentless energy and creativity? Let's go with the latter…Part Two brings the uncomfortable subject of club redundancies. Sympathy for those affected is balanced by the evident reality of the ‘perilous' state of the club finances. Thoughts finally turn to two huge games against play-off rivals. And who'd have thought we'd be saying that in December?Up the Bastard Argyle. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

On this episode of In Theory, Disha Karnad Jani interviews Isadora Moura Mota about her recent book, "Freedom's Horizon: Black Abolitionism in Nineteenth-Century Brazil" (University of Pennsylvania Press, 2025). In shifting the periodization of the history of abolition in Brazil from the 1870s and 1880s to the 1840s and 1860s, Mota recenters the intellectual contributions of the enslaved in this transnational story. This conversation, as a result, touches upon some of the critical implications of this recentering—or, taking these enslaved actors seriously as thinkers in their own right—on the history of political thought and social movements in Brazil and writ large.

Conference Tournament Week is here, and Scott and James are in their absolute element. On this episode of CrimsonCASH, the guys dive headfirst into the glorious chaos of March hoops: conference tourney dogs, Big Ten bracket takes, live-betting strategy, player props, and the kind of futures bets that make you feel like a genius right up until Thursday afternoon. They break down the Big Ten tournament path, talk through whether Michigan is really that scary, wonder if Indiana can survive long enough to ruin anyone's weekend plans, and identify a few numbers that are just too tasty to ignore. Then it's a whip-around through conference futures across the country, with everything from sensible picks to true-degenerate “five bucks and vibes” action. And because this is CrimsonCASH, the conversation also wanders into NBA tank-a-palooza parlays, Olympic curling scandal, the mystery of G League betting lines, and why a random game in Noblesville can still spark the gambler's soul. In this episode of the XS Noize Podcast, Mark Millar sits down with legendary U2 producer Steve Lillywhite to discuss his work on landmark albums including Boy, War, The Joshua Tree, Achtung Baby, All That You Can't Leave Behind, How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb, and No Line on the Horizon. Across a career spanning more than four decades, Lillywhite has worked with some of the most influential artists in modern music. But his work with U2 — from their earliest recordings through some of their biggest albums — helped define the sound of one of the world's most important bands. During the conversation, Lillywhite reflects on the creative environment around Achtung Baby, one of the most influential records in U2's catalogue, and explains what a producer actually does in the studio — describing his role as the "captain of the ship" guiding a band through the creative process of making an album. He shares memories of first encountering U2 before the mythology existed, when four young musicians from Dublin were still discovering their identity — and explains why he immediately sensed something different about them. The conversation explores the band's creative evolution across landmark albums including Boy, War, The Joshua Tree, Achtung Baby, All That You Can't Leave Behind, How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb, and No Line on the Horizon, and how U2's sound developed in the studio over the years. Lillywhite also offers insights into the craft of record production — from capturing the distinctive guitar sound of The Edge to shaping Bono's vocal performances and finding the emotional centre of a song. Along the way, he reflects on the collaborative nature of the studio, the controlled chaos of working alongside producers like Brian Eno, Daniel Lanois and Flood, and the moments when a record suddenly comes alive. Whether you're a U2 fan, a musician, or simply fascinated by the craft of record-making, this conversation offers a rare look inside the creative process behind some of the most iconic albums of the last forty years. In the late 1980s, Kevin Costner - pre-Dances With Wolves - first had the idea for what became the Horizon movie saga. A hugely-ambitious series of westerns, that he'd ultimately star in, co-write, and direct. By 2026, two films had been made, only one released, and around ten minutes shot of a third. So what's happened? For the second half of this episode, Simon is joined by director Andrew Stanton, chatting about his new film In The Blink Of An Eye. In this solo Horizon episode, John breaks down the Supreme Court's ruling on tariffs, the subsequent policy shifts, and what it all means for the broader economy and commercial real estate. While tariffs don't directly hit property owners, he explains how the ripple effects—particularly uncertainty—are slowing job creation, household formation, and overall space demand. He highlights how weaker migration and hiring trends are creating headwinds in overbuilt Sunbelt markets, while pent-up demand continues to build beneath the surface. John also shares observations from the Best Ever Conference, noting that institutional capital may lead the next cycle while retail syndication capital remains constrained.
