We all struggle to understand what we need in order to get out foot in the door for our next interview. Say no more! Spencer Grubbe (IG: @neverendingnotebook) is a freelance lyricist and a recent graduate from Brigham Young University–Hawaii. We talk about storytelling through music and how music artists can blend personal experience and relatability.

Kristl Densley has worked as a theatre director for over ten years and is currently an acting professor at Brigham Young University–Hawaii. We talk about how film and theatre influence each other as well as some of her progressive ideas concerning the art of theatre. Her most recent project is called "Solana," a workshop production by Grammy-nominated songwriters Michael Heitzman and Ilene Reid.

Dr. Ka’ili is an Associate Professor of Anthropology and department chair of International Cultural Studies at Brigham Young University—Hawaii. We talk about the difference between Western and Pacific (Moana) mentality regarding time and space. His research deals specifically with Maui Tongans and relationships between people in their society.
