Let's learn to re-act or act - WISELY A PDU (Personal Development Unplugged) podcast You decide how you act or re-act - Decide well and take responsibility for all your actions, yes even the bad ones ;0) This will probably end up as a two part podcast because as I began it just grew from deciding how we act and deciding how we feel and to try to keep them together was just too much for my ikkle old brain of main. So.............. Do you believe you decide on every, yes every, behaviour or action you take? Maybe not consciously but always unconsciously. f you don't then who does decide????? It really isn't those nasty people, the weather or the financial climate, the news or your boss or your clients or your partner or even your family. Because if you believe that then you would have to wait of the culprit(s) to decide again which would be silly. Really they are all excuses. Let's have a chat and then go on to me sharing ways you can change your unconscious mind to make great decisions. Yep you will need a pen and paper, or as we like to call it 'Jenny' journal and I'll show you ways of understanding why you behave the way you dis and how to make better actions or re-actions. The what's in the detail - a five minute podcast Let's get rid of overwhelm Overwhelm of all those details and also overwhelm of the BIG picture We've all heard to saying 'the devil's in the detail' but is it or is it an angel in disguise? Let me share a recent bout of overwhelm and how by mixing the big picture and the details together made a massive difference and divert a would be disaster. I've found an app 'workflowy' that does help in both too. I'll also share a couple of questions used with 'Jenny' journal that I found really useful to ensure we see things clearly, stop the old self-sabotage and begin and end with motivation and a way to hold on to that feeling all the way through. It really doesn't matter if your goal is massive or a smaller more immediate one the same process applies and gets you the success you deserve :0) Shine brightly Paul Please remember you can leave a comment or email me with questions, requests and feedback. Curiously interesting - in others and YOU A five minute quickie podcast I want to find a bit more about you and the curious thing that happened during this podcast is that the questions I pose began to be answered by me in a way I didn't expect. So I have 4 questions I want to share which can challenge us and to make us work to find the answers by going inside. The thing is you have to be genuinely curious to find the answer. They all start if someone (Or YOU) ask a difficult question of you and you would like to know what's behind the meaning of that question. Yes this is a little confusing until you listen and find that you can communicate at a deeper level. You may need your 'Jenny' journal to dive in deeper into your thoughts and learn more than you expect. This, if you practice will become an immensely powerful habit and tool. How far will you take it? :0) Shine brightly Paul Please remember you can leave a comment or email me with questions, requests and feedback. Let's get rid of fear - Easily A personal development Unplugged podcast Yep Let's dive into fear/anxiety/worry and find a couple of easy - I really do mean easy - ways you can use right now to reduce that negative feeling and get to see a way forward. That seems a BIG claim but it isn't if you are prepared to do whatever it takes and that starts by simply listening to this podcast and you will get to understand that theses emotions and behaviours have a positive intent - even if it doesn't feel that way. I'll tell you about a couple of times in my past where I felt a horrible fear and how I learnt how to use the intention to find a way to overcome the fear by learning from it and not pushing against it. I also understood how my unconscious mind used fear to help me and when I learnt how to access other emotions and behaviours and take aligned and congruent action. Sometimes, maybe always, when we experience fear we need distance. We can float out above the bubble we were in and see the problem/issue for what it really is and ways we can begin to use the intention to deal with the issue. This all starts by acknowledging the way you feel, not accepting it but acknowledging it and here's where our 'Jenny' journal comes into play. Let's get things out of our roundabout of our mind and onto paper. When you've done that I will go through to lovely processes that will firstly give you distance and you find the feeling..... well you'll find out. Secondly another simple (in simplicity there is genius) to literally flip fear on it's head and change it to an empowering way of feeling. With both processes you will be able to find ways that you can use to resolve the issue and this time with the support of your aligned unconscious mind. By the way these processes just work I have recorded these two processes seperatley, so once you have listened to the whole podcast you can set your state, your intention and give your self permission to go through each process with your desired outcome. You may want to make notes in your 'jenny' journal of the questions I suggest you ask of your unconscious mind to get the inspired actions. To get these processes and use again the setting your state and your outcome hypnosis sessions at paulcloughonline.com/podcast Let me know the results from your use of the coaching sessions and what you learnt and recorded - I'd love you to share so we can share these with others (anonymously if you want) use the contact form on the right or email me at paul@paulclough.co.uk Shine brightly Paul Please remember you can leave a comment or email me with questions, requests and feedback. #91 Start right now - on your dreams that is - a longer unplugged podcast We can always find excuses for not doing, getting and making your dreams/goals become real. In we, I mean Me and a maybe you. How many times will you dare to admit that you have put off doing what you want because you don't know enough or have enough experience. You were perfectly correct because we all know wisdom comes with age NOT!!!!!!!! wisdom comes from experience and the more you experience and learn the better you will be. No-one knows everything so how can you? Sometimes it's the not knowing that leads to the biggest findings. Do what you know and do it well but stretch and go beyond these invisible self imposed boundaries. You are a master of what YOU know and before that you didn't know. Let's think about taking some action to make those dreams and goals become real. let's go through ways and processes that just work! We'll need 'Jenny' journal to make sure this stuff gets remembered and can be made better. I'll guide you through these processes and I have even recorded two (yes TWO!!!!) additional coaching and hypnosis tracks for you to use after gathering the important information. Let's make sure you understand your intention for wanting what you want, making sure they a 'toward' goal not an 'away' from. I'll explain what I mean in the pod. I'll take you through some wonderfully powerful questions to ask the both of you that evoke answers that help guide your actions and desires. This is such a small summary of the information I share and probably one of the longest pods to-date and I think and hope you find more jems than you can imagine and get those things that you have not realised YET! So please have a listen and maybe a second listen with 'Jenny' at hand and please remember you can ask me questions and give feedback - simply email me Shine brightly Paul Please remember you can leave a comment or email me with questions, requests and feedback. Whatcha' Gonna do with it the 5 minute podcast Two questions we'll ask ourselves in the next 5 minutes or so Here's the first question - What have you learnt? Let's take a review of what we have understood and made our own in this adventure of creating the real me. It's time again for bringing out 'Jenny' journal and........ What are you going to do with this? How can I develop what I've, you've, learnt and what can I, you, achieve with this learning How far will the ripples of your changing self and world go and how will you affect the world and the generative filed of learning? Man this is exciting!! Here's where you become aware of your mastery, knowing what to do and doing what you know and I wonder if you can imagine just how far you can go. I'll give you hint infinite possibilities and abundance spring to mind. Shine brightly Paul Please remember you can leave a comment or email me with questions, requests and feedback. It never comes through the door - the podcast The problem is never the problem It's an effect of a cause (a root cause) the law of cause and effect. I learnt this from my early experiences on my adventure of being a hypnotherapist. You see I would ask my client what their problem, their issue, was and then use what I knew to resolve it with them. Results? very mixed. The I experienced a client that taught me something that was to change forever how I was and do work with clients and get so much success with them. You can imagine how that and still does make me feel when I see my clients getting the results they wanted and more than they can imagine. Let me tell you the story of that client. The there was a lovely lady who came to see me who just confirmed this 'the problem is not the problem' which I wouldn't have had the success with her if I hadn't learnt this. When we go below the surface, to learn from the cause of the issue and all it's effects and intentions and this means we can change the effect as we no longer need to behave, feel that way again. Let's get 'Jenny' journal and explore your issues and their positive intentions, what's missing or what you need that you could use. We want the intention to remain but find better ways to believe, feel and behave - That's when the problem disappears and the ripples of change will go far into other areas of your life and that's really exciting! There's so much more here so have a listen Shine brightly Paul Please remember you can leave a comment or email me with questions, requests and feedback. Revisiting what we've learnt makes us grow - podcast To know what you know, that is, to remind yourself of what you have learnt already can be the biggest ways of learning more. So how does that happen? well it allows you to get more confident in what you already know so you can be more confident of learning new things that you thought were a little too hard. Also by revisiting the books you have read it frees you up to learn the things in those books that you didn't notice because of what you hadn't learnt then but now you know it. You may need the help of our friend 'Jenny' journal to cement in even further all the things you forgot you have learnt along the way. You can begin to notice the level of mastery you have - doing what you know and knowing what to do! All good stuff and all in 5 minutes or so. It's not always about adding that makes the difference - podcast Got a great story for you, a metaphor that might make you think and is a great intro into what we are discussing today. Let's have a fresh look at where we are, where we have come from and how we're going in getting to that place(s) We'll also be 'De-hypnotizing' as a way of clearing a bit of 'stuff' - 'stuff' that's still holding you back. It's like cleaning the lenses which we experience our current world, our current reality and when we do we get to see, hear and feel (as well as taste and smell) the things we missed. Let's colour and enrich our world with what's already there but we seemed to have missed it and now we don't. Let me chat to you on ways you can begin this and begin to understand what is holding us back and the unconscious intention. When we understand intentions we can begin to find alternative ways to keep the unconscious intention and create what we want in our life. You may need our old friend 'Jenny' journal as one way and I'll also remind you of many others Shine brightly Paul Please remember you can leave a comment or email me with questions, requests and feedback. A joke that made me think - the podcast How well do you look after your garden? It started of with nothing when you inherited it and you added your beliefs, values, skills and behaviors. What are you adding to it now or are you letting weeds grow? This is just a reminder to take a moment or two, with your 'Jenny' journal to reflect where you are and where you want to be, do and have. Yes we can even be grateful for this moment and for your ideas to come and dreams to come into fruition. You may even what to take time to contemplate (Ooooh! that's deep) to how we can make the worlds gardens join and share. Hmmmmmmmmmmm........ There's a pebble in my shoe! a podcast We've all had the experience of putting up with a pebble in our shoe, trying to ignore it and we try to keep on ignoring it but it just stays there and is always in the corner of your mind. This is a real experience and it's also a metaphor for those issues we try to ignore and they don't disappear do they? Let me give you a couple of my personal examples, one of which changed the way I work with clients. It was my unconscious mind trying to communicate with me and give me guidance and it's only when I addressed that pebble, listened, I found out something really important. So what are you ignoring, what's that metaphorical pebble in your shoe trying to tell you? Let's get our 'Jenny' journal and explore. let's take time out and really listen with all our senses - seeing, hearing, feeling, tasting and smelling - and connect and learn. I'll go through so many things you may learn and what to do in a simple yet powerful way. When you do that niggle, that pebble will assist in your growth which is why you're here - isn't it? If you had a best friend that kept tapping you on the shoulder because they want to help you you would listen wouldn't you? Well listen to you best best friend. They are so annoying until we learn - the 5 minute podcast Oh this may be a painful one because what I'm going to tell you may just strike a chord but not always a pleasant one. You know we all meet people as we go about our world and they just annoy you - they just grate! It's when we can pin point what about them that grates, sets us off we actually learn what in us is there too. They have been sent not to annoy us but to teach us what we need to work on - dare you be so honest? Come on, have a listen and as usual have our 'Jenny' journal at hand because this is where we can look in the mirror and the subtle adjustment we make can be and make a massive difference and when you do those people seem to disappear. Fibs or lies it really doesn't matter what you call them because they're still false. I want to give you personal examples of this, the fibs I told both myself and others. Yes I told these and believed in them and it's only until now that I've spotted them. Why am I telling you this? Hmmmm. Well maybe you will begin to see and hear the fibs you're telling yourself and to find out why you do it. It's when you acknowledge these fibs and the intention behind them you realise so many things - what you have actually achieved, what you will be able to do without these stories you tell. If you find they are negative find ways to get that intention with better behaviours and experience wonderful things. It may take a few minutes with our trusted 'Jenny' journal but you'll find it is so worth it. Have more fun you can stand ;0)
