Lola og Bene fra Baby In Vain er kommet forbi. Jeg prøver at indfange deres forhold til bandet Big Thief. Det viser sig undervejs, at deres kærlighed til bandet er uendelig stor, og de mener ikke, at Big Thief kan sætte en fod forkert. Sammen prøver vi at sætte nogle ord på, hvad det præcist er, Lola og Bene elsker ved Big Thief. Om det lykkes, er jeg ikke helt sikker på, men det bliver både rørende og sjovt. Det kan jeg love. Og på en eller anden mærkelig måde ender jeg også med at præsentere dem for det danske band Inside The Whale, som de mærkeligt nok aldrig har hørt om før. Jeg glæder mig, til du skal lytte! I denne episode skal vi besøge live universet til et af Danmarks mest ikoniske rocktrioer, Baby In Vain, og at skabe et koncertportræt af dem til deres Store Sal koncert. I et årti har Benedicte, Andrea og Lola udgivet anmelderroste plader og fængslet publikum til deres koncerter både i Danmark og internationalt med deres stoner rock. Seneste udgivelse, See Through, byder på et mere shoegazet og vokalharmonisk udtryk med bass og strygere.Nu skal vi mødes med bandet i Musikhuset inden deres lydprøve for at forstå ingredienserne til en Baby In Vain koncert, og hvorfor de efter så mange år stadig bliver nervøse før en koncert.

Hvorfor vil Baby In Vain ikke høre deres første sang i radioen? For 10 år siden havde de deres første øver. Dengang var de stadig teenagere, og den skæbnesvangre dag blev starten på en turné, der tog dem igennem Storbritannien, det meste af Europa og Skandinavien og det stopper ikke her. Nu er de nemlig med her i Frekvens Interviewer, hvor de bl.a. fortæller om deres Mojito-aftener, hvorfor de helst ikke vil høre deres første udgivelse og hvilket nummer fra deres seneste plade, de synes fortjener lidt ekstra kærlighed.
