Leapin' Lizards!  There is a cast of over 60+ kids that are ready to entertain you with "Annie, Jr."! Chanticleer Community Theatre at PACE (Pottawattamie Arts Culture and Entertainment) has put together a talented cast - and a real-live dog - for this fun musical! We talked with Addison Mathie, Isaac Butts, Anna Larsen, Carrington Newlon and Emmalin Newlon about how much fun they are having, and how much they want to show you how hard they have worked at this wonderful show. Annie, Jr. is a shortened version for kids of the musical, Annie.  The original musical opened on Broadway in 1977 and ran for six years. Brandy Wallar, President and CEO of New Visions Homeless Services, grew up in poverty and was raised lovingly by a mother trying to escape domestic violence with four kids and nowhere to go. Now Wallar leads one of the region's most impactful homelessness organizations, turning lived experience into bold, compassionate leadership. She trusted her instincts and pursued what truly made her happy. She believed in herself, didn't let fear get in the way, and attributes her success to that defining moment of self-belief and action. Sandra's difficult moment came when she was at a local park and someone assumed that she was her son's nanny due to her looks and told her something unsettling. Rather than letting this discourage her, Sandra used it as fuel to prove them wrong and succeed in real estate. That experience solidified her determination and drive. Early in Iris's career, she felt unsupported even by those closest to her. This made her doubt her potential for success. However, real, meaningful connections with clients and discovering her true passion for helping others through homeownership helped her push past the urge to quit. Adapting to Industry Change With the rise of AI technology, each of my guests shares how they're adapting to its use in real estate. Jennifer shares how she utilizes ChatGPT as a powerful ally and emphasizes the importance of authenticity on social media.  Sandra discusses how she understands that it's best for her to turn her social media channels over to a trusted specialist. Doing so allows her to extend her reach in more meaningful ways and make her brand more connected to the community. A rotating "human hamster wheel" of cells promised security with minimal manpower. In reality? It turned into a logistical nightmare—and, some say, a spiritual one.
