This one belongs to Mackenzie Shelton. For six years she built a real estate business while raising a family, and she did it the way high achieving women usually do. All of it. Perfectly. Herself. Then early in 2020 she found out she was pregnant with her fourth. At about ten weeks she lost the baby, with complications so serious she came close to needing a transfusion. She did not feel right for months. Her body made the decision her calendar never would have. She had to slow down. The problem was the train did not stop. She had spent six years building something that could not just sit there while she healed. So she started asking a question she had never asked before. What if I do not have to carry all of this. She asked her husband for help. She hired help. She built systems for the things that kept turning chaotic. And she says something honest about her faith in that stretch. She had not been leaning on it much. She had a business coach and a plan and a very secular way of growing. The season that broke her open is the season she started praying about her business instead of just her body.Out of that came her book, The Serenity Solution, about freedom from control, perfectionism, and the pressure to do it all. There is a story in this episode you will retell. To keep her sanity with four kids, she hired a friend to clean her house once a month. She was one of that friend's first clients. That friend now runs a six figure cleaning business with a staff.Mackenzie also leads a real estate team seven years in, where the average agent earns around $150,000 a year, and most of those women are single mothers running their lives on systems. She and her husband run a real estate investment business and bought a forty acre farm outside Council Bluffs, Iowa three years ago. When people tell her they do not know how she does it all, she tells them the truth. She does not.Find Mackenzie on Instagram at MackenzieLeeShelton. Her book, The Serenity Solution, is on Amazon. This is The Calling Table Sessions on the Stuck No More Voices Podcast. One seat. Send us Fan MailConnect with Coach Weaver: Click here: https://theresmoreministries.com/A Note Before We BeginToday's conversation includes discussion of abortion, pregnancy loss, and the emotional and spiritual impact that can follow. If you have experienced an abortion, some of what you hear may bring up difficult emotions or memories. Please listen with care and give yourself permission to pause if you need to.If you recognize that there are places in your own story that still need healing, you do not have to process them alone. Coach Cheryl offers confidential, faith-based healing and coaching sessions for women who desire a safe place to process their experience, work through unresolved pain, and move toward healing, freedom, and restoration. Contact Coach at weaver@theresmoreministries.com.A listener note before you press play. This conversation is about abortion, grief, and healing. It is handled with care, and it is honest. Some stories are not for scrolling past. This one belongs to Coach Cheryl Weaver. She was eighteen. She was not a Christian and she was not informed. She thought she had places to go and things to do, and she believed a clinic would let her get on with her life. She says the procedure was the worst pain she has ever felt. When she screamed, the doctor told her to shut up or he would make her have the baby. She was already halfway through. Two weeks later a severe infection nearly killed her. Then came the years nobody warns you about. Her turn came after she came to faith. She says God spoke to her plainly about what had happened, and she asked forgiveness in that moment. That started a road that led her to lead post abortion healing groups for other women. In those groups she noticed something. Grandmothers were showing up. Women who had carried this for decades before they could say it out loud. She has a picture for what that does to a person. Holding a beach ball underwater. Every muscle, every thought, every part of you working to keep it down. And you are exhausted, and you do not know why.Cheryl says abortion is the hardest thing she has watched women forgive themselves for, and that God forgives it fully anyway. There is more in this conversation than that one story. She talks about the night she stood in a bathroom about to lock her heart away for good, and the plaque on the wall that stopped her. She talks about seven years of torment after she got saved, and what she learned about where to keep her focus. And she walks through her Root to Restore method, which starts with the leaves a woman brings in and works down to the root underneath them. She names Forgiven and Set Free as a study she points women toward. Her book is Unbroken Promises, available on Amazon. Her ministry is There's More Ministries, and she co hosts the mental health podcast Laughing with Lions. Send us Fan MailWhat if David had looked at the giant and decided the risk was too high? What if Esther had kept quiet to keep her crown? What if Mary had heard the angel and said this will cost me too much?Every one of them had a reason to say no. Every one of them said yes anyway. We have been reading about their courage for two thousand years. Heaven may be waiting on yours. This episode came out of one song played over and over until it started asking questions back.Joseph had the dream at seventeen. Between the dream and the throne came the pit, the slavery, the false accusation, the prison, and the man who forgot him. Not one of those chapters looked like a dream coming true. Every one looked like a dream dying. He did not say you meant it for evil but God meant it for good in the pit. He said it decades later, when the story was finally readable. That is the pattern. God writes forward. We read backward.Moses spent forty years on the backside of a desert with somebody else's sheep. A prince demoted to a shepherd. A leader with nobody to lead. If he had written his resume at year twenty it would have read like failure. Then a bush burned, and everything he learned in Pharaoh's house prepared him to stand in front of Pharaoh, and everything he learned in the wilderness prepared him to lead a nation through one.The forty years were not a detour. They were the training.Theresa shares two seasons of her own in this episode.Five months in a headset taking customer service calls, some of them cruel, landing in the same place her husband's words used to land. Nobody there knew she had spent years on the radio. Early that year she heard the Holy Spirit call her a voice revivalist, wrote it down, and then put the headset back on. Looking back she can see it. She was on a microphone five to eight hours a day with hard callers and no applause. She was not being benched. She was being rebuilt. Then a position opened at the station she had left eighteen years earlier, and it now carried a new name. Victory 91.5, the Sound of Revival. He said the word in private, then put it on the building. And the season she spent substitute teaching after her husband died, and what God said to her in the car on the way to church the night before she went back. You are not a substitute teacher. You are my undercover agent for the Kingdom of God. Nothing about Monday morning changed. Who walked in did. There is a question at the end of this episode worth sitting with. Where has God repeated Himself in your life? Not the random moments. The theme underneath them. The word that keeps showing up. The kind of woman who keeps ending up in your messages. The chapter you have had to live four different times before you finally listened. That repetition is God writing your story.Your next step is the Calling Activation Study. One live session where we do story mapping together and you find the story that connects your calling to the people you are meant to serve. Send us Fan MailFind Elaine on Instagram at PageantpreneurA listener note before you press play. This conversation includes grooming by a church leader, an eating disorder, and drug addiction. Some stories are not for scrolling past. This one belongs to Elaine Mingus. Her father moved the family out of Houston to keep his kids away from the big city. They started going to church in a small Texas town. The youth pastor there was grooming Elaine and several other girls in the group. When it came out, the family sat down with the senior pastor. Before they said a word, he told them he already knew. The youth pastor had confessed. And the church believed Elaine had seduced him.She was a teenager. This was the nineties. Nobody used the word grooming. Nobody suggested therapy. So she buried it, and she carried the shame instead. That shame turned into eight years of bulimia and an almost daily heroin addiction. Then she walked into a church, saw the crucifix, and says every question she had was answered right there, including ones she did not know she was asking. She is careful to say the story is not finished. Jesus is not done yet.Today Elaine is Mrs. Texas, a mother of seven, and the founder of Pageantpreneur, where she helps women in pageantry use their story, voice, and platform to get visible, land sponsors, and get media attention that outlasts the crown. The conversation she is most interested in is not how to become successful. It is what happens after you spend years believing the next accomplishment will finally make you feel like you have arrived. She has a line for it. Yesterday's success becomes today's baseline. So the goalpost moves and moves and you never once stop to look back. She thinks that is why God kept telling the Israelites to build altars. She also talks about counting. Calories, the scale, view counts, hours with your kids versus hours without them. Always calculating your worth from your own performance instead of receiving what Jesus already settled. There is a working idea in this episode you can use today. Elaine builds every client around one overarching story and five signature stories underneath it. Then everything she posts checks back against those six. She says women worry they are repeating themselves, but people want predictability. It is what makes them trust you.Her other line worth keeping. You are not responsible for the outcome. You are responsible for the action.Find Elaine on Instagram at Pageantpreneur for the business, or at https://pageantpreneur.comThis is The Calling Table Sessions on the Stuck No More Voices Podcast. She just knew she had to go up.She thought God was about to restore her marriage.A year later her husband of eighteen years asked for a divorce. She got angry at God. Then she looked back at that night and understood. The baptism was not a promise about her marriage. It was God getting her ready for what was coming. What came next was a lot. Her son left for college a thousand miles away and she lived alone for the first time at fifty. God called her to move to St. Louis, and she resisted it. Obeying meant closing the personal training studio she had built and loved. She went. She did the healing work first. Therapy, journaling, long walks outside where the only voice was God's.Then she built something.Cheryl now leads a Facebook community of around 6,100 women and runs a sixteen week program called The Divorce Recovery Roadmap. She has taken 44 women through it so far. Her framework is called ACT. Acknowledge where you are and stop saying you are fine when you are not. Choose who you are becoming, with God. Today, because you do not need a five year plan. You need the next right step.In this conversation she talks about the difference between speaking from your scars and bleeding on people from an open wound. She talks about showing up online without the perfect hair and the list of credentials, and why her women lean in harder when she is real. And she shares the question she asks God on the mornings she does not want to get out of bed. This one belongs to Deanna Keith. Her first memory on this earth is being assaulted at three years old. Her second memory is telling her mother. The abuse lasted until she was fifteen. She met her husband Stan forty years ago. He led her to the Lord and he set up the counseling that started her healing. Two weeks after their wedding, at twenty three, she had a stroke. She fell over while they watched the wedding video. She could not speak or open her eyes for seventy two hours.Inside the MRI machine she asked God one question. If you are here and you hear me, I need to know if I am going to be okay. Her eyes opened long enough to see her father smiling through the waiting room window.Years later her grandmother died. Deanna told her mother to let the man who hurt her come to the funeral, and she would stay home.He came. At a family dinner afterward, her mother found him sobbing in the garage. There was water on the floor and she thought the cooler was leaking. It was his tears. She asked if he was crying over his mother. He said no. He was crying over what he did to Deanna. What happened next is the center of this episode. Deanna's husband got the family in one room. She gave him the gospel. So did her brother. Forgiveness was given.Reconciliation was not. She is clear that those are two different things. She also walks through the spiritual abuse she came out of, where a leader used scripture as a way to control people. She names the book that put words to it, and she talks about confronting it and leaving.Through all of it there is one word. Choose. Her therapist Jodi told her she was not stuck. She was committed to a thought that did not serve her life. Deanna chose something else. She has been journaling since she was eleven. Tubs of them. Out of that came her book, Choice Maker, which she keeps off Amazon on purpose so she can stay in touch with her readers. She says she wrote it for impact, not commerce. Her last word in the episode is one to write down. She had to learn to walk again and speak again. She forgot the whole thing until her sister reminded her years later, but her mind never forgot the beliefs it built around it.School labeled her learning disabled. In grade eight her math teacher told her she was stupid and would get nowhere. She says the hardest part was not the insult. It was that he only said out loud what she already believed. So she found her worth somewhere else. In South Africa she became the pretty one. Photo shoots, invitations, and finally a modeling contract. She thought she had made it.Then her family immigrated to a tiny town in Northwest Ontario, and the first winter hit minus fifty. No events. No photo shoots. No identity. She fell into a deep depression and became suicidal, and she blamed her husband for taking everything from her. Then COVID made the world go quiet. She calls that season the soil. There was nothing left to strive for, so God took her all the way down to the root and started over. Out of that she built her own work, the Revive Method, around identity alignment. The picture she used before she knew anything about the science was a tree. There is a line in this episode worth writing down. There is a difference between the journey and the decision. The journey being hard does not mean the decision was wrong. The turn comes later. She got an email from Dr. Caroline Leaf's office and deleted it. When the second one came announcing the first round of neurocycle facilitator training, she applied with her eyes closed and hit send scared. She was accepted. She had never read one of Leaf's books. Today the girl who was told she was stupid at math sits in the room helping build Leaf's new strategist offer. She also talks about why sixty three days changed her life when twenty one never did, and why knowledge without mind renewal stays knowledge forever.Find Elana on Instagram at elanavdeventer. This is The Calling Table Sessions on the Stuck No More Voices Podcast. Seven years in, he was diagnosed with cancer. After he passed, she kept going because God told her to keep going. Then came a church split, two small children, clinical depression, and a diagnosis she had carried since childhood without a name for it.She says the church split grieved her harder than the funeral. In this conversation she talks about doing the hard work of healing instead of waiting for someone to do it for you. She talks about raising two kids alone while still carrying a call. She talks about the moment she learned that renewing the mind is not a phrase you repeat. It is work you do.Then we turn toward business. Yara talks about what happens when a woman moves from serving for free to charging for her gift. Know your value. Set healthy boundaries. And He placed something in you too, long before you had words for it.In this episode I talk from my heart, right after our first Calling Activation seminar. I share three things. Your calling came first, set in you by God before any credential. Your story is how that calling reaches the woman who needs it. And story based visibility is how you show up as yourself, without overthinking, and draw the right people to you.I also share what I watched happen in that room. As each woman unpacked her story, something lit up in her. The hard years started to make sense. God was not absent in any of it. He was writing a story, and bringing healing, so it could now reach someone else.Your pain was never the end. It was the start of your message.Want to find your story with me? #348: In this weeks episode, I'm sitting down with Toni Bravo — creator, storyteller, and someone I've genuinely loved watching evolve over the years to talk about what it really looks like to trust yourself in real time.We get into the mindset behind betting on yourself, and why Toni has such a strong reaction to the word “delusion.” Because for her, it's never been about convincing yourself something impossible will happen — it's about believing that what you want is actually available to you, and then doing the work to meet it there. We talk about creativity as something fluid and open and why the hardest part isn't coming up with ideas, it's trusting yourself enough to follow through on them, even when no one else gets it yet.Toni also breaks down what it looked like to leave her 9–5 at 22, not recklessly, but intentionally — building a safety net, creating structure, and knowing when it was time to make the jump.We also talk about fear, failure, and how to tell the difference between intuition and doubt, and why your intuition speaks in statements, not questions. This episode is about self-trust as a daily practice, not a one-time decision and learning how to move without needing everyone else to agree first. This episode is for you if…You keep waiting for validation before you move on something you wantYou have ideas but struggle to actually follow through on themYou're scared to start because you're overthinking what could go wrongYou're trying to build confidence but don't fully trust your instincts yetYou feel pressure to explain or justify your vision to other peopleYou're navigating a pivot (career, creative, lifestyle) and need clarityYou want to stop caring so much about what's “working” and start doing what feels alignedYou're learning how to say no and to trust that it's the right decisionEpisode Links:Follow Toni on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/tonibravo/Follow Toni on TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@bonitravo?lang=enSubscribe to Toni's YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/@tonibravoSponsors:Quince: Refresh your everyday with luxury you'll actually use. Send us a text if you want to be on the Podcast & explain why!A client came to me after being told she needed shoulder surgery.MRI showed a slight supraspinatus tear. No physical therapy was recommended. No movement assessment was performed. Just “you'll need surgery.”Instead of jumping to conclusions, we performed a full movement screen looking at the GH joint, scapula, thoracic spine and LPHC. No red flags were present. Several exercises were completely pain free. Others were only uncomfortable based on fear and guarding after being told she was “fragile.”This is where the biopsychosocial model of pain becomes critical for personal trainers.Pain is not always tissue damage. Language matters. Assessments matter. Understanding anatomy and movement matters. After helping her better understand what the MRI actually meant, how her shoulder moves, and which patterns felt safe to load, she avoided surgery and returned to training without pain.Knowing your scope as a personal trainer is important. But so is knowing when to assess, when to refer, and how to confidently work with clients who are in pain without making them feel broken.Textbook certifications like NASM ACE ISSA don't prepare you for real world scenarios like this. That's why we created the SUF-CPT and SUF-STM certifications. If you want to: • Assess clients in pain • Program on the fly • Partner with DPTs • Charge $150+ per session • Build confidence with real peopleYou have to SHOW UP.Learn more about our seminars and certifications here: [Insert Website]#PersonalTraining #Biopsychosocial #ShoulderPain #NASM #CPT #MovementAssessment #PainScience #ShowUpFitnessBecome a personal trainer, SUF CPT the fastest growing personal training certification for personal trainersWant to become a SUCCESSFUL personal trainer? Most people think success comes from talent, timing, or luck. The brutal truth? It comes from suffering. After building multiple seven and eight-figure businesses and investing in hundreds of companies, I've learned the one thing nobody wants to tell you: to win, you must be willing to endure more pain than everyone else. This isn't about motivation or manifestation — it's about the cold, hard reality of what it actually takes to build the life you want in 2025 and beyond. In this raw, unfiltered episode, I break down the four brutal truths that will either make or break your success: why four-hour work weeks are a myth (the data shows 85-90% of businesses require daily founder involvement), why everyone is trying harder than you think they are (and hiding it), why there's more competition than you want to admit (305 million startups launched globally last year alone), and why most people will never communicate honestly. I reveal the six types of people you'll face as a leader — from the reactive responder to the strategic warrior — and why only one of them actually wins. You'll learn about effort concealment, survivorship bias, and why 80% of people think they're above average (spoiler: they're not). But this isn't just about what's broken — it's about what actually works. I expose why the passive income dream applies to less than 1% of the population, why 95% of Shopify stores never make a single sale, and why comparing your reality to someone else's highlight reel is killing your progress. If you've ever felt like you're behind, or wondered why success seems easier for everyone else, or if you're ready to stop believing the lies and start doing the hard work that actually matters, this episode will change how you think about winning forever. ___________ 00:00:00 Introduction 00:00:54 To Win You Must Suffer 00:01:36 The Six Types of People You'll Face as a Leader 00:04:25 Becoming the Strategic Leader 00:06:32 Everybody Is Trying Harder Than You Think 00:08:12 The Highlight Reel Deception 00:10:30 More Competition Than You Want to Admit 00:13:09 The Startup Gold Rush: The Math Behind Competition 00:14:18 Four Hour Work Weeks Do Not Work 00:16:21 The Contrarian Boardroom Solution 00:17:28 Stop Comparing Your Worst to Others' Best ___________ MORE FROM BIGDEAL

The Strategy Hour Podcast: Online Business | Blogging | Productivity - with Think Creative Collective

Today, I want to dig into how I would start a business if there's no existing audience — how I would get off the ground, how we would get momentum, how I would create a community of people who are actually listening to what I have to say and how I would make real tangible dollar bills as early as possible in the process. But before we get into the strategies, I just want to say that I have never met someone who actually has no audience.    Join The Co-op – The Membership for Online Businesses  Connect with Abagail Instagram   All the Links! Perhaps you've never started a page with this focus, or this niche, but we have connections, and it's our job to leverage the connections that already exist. I'm here to tell you that ultimately, the number of people in your audience has little to no relationship to the actual amount of sales that you can generate. The number of followers does not matter! It's about creating the right community that is supportive of where you're going. Send us a textHow to return to self-care and self-kindness when you're strugglingWhat's in This EpisodeYou're not failing at self-care; you're navigating something unprecedented. As we hit the end of July (yes, summer is flying by!), it's the perfect time to remember how to come back to taking care of yourself when you feel like you've been struggling.Drawing from Dr. Julie Smith's book "Open When," this episode draws parallels between modern parenting and practicing medicine in 2025. Here's what you need to remember when you're feeling overwhelmed:The Truth About What You're FacingYou are the first generation of physicians working with full knowledge of medicine's harm to your health. Just like parents today are the first to actively parent with awareness of emotional well-being, you're practicing medicine while explicitly knowing about:Physician burnout (which exploded as a topic in the last 10-15 years)The impossible math: The average primary care physician needs 26.7 hours per day to meet all patient needsThe reality that your health suffers while you help others healThe systemic toxicity that comes with healthcare workThis knowledge didn't exist in previous generations of physicians. You're not supposed to have all the answers because there is no single right answer. Why You Feel Disconnected (Even When Surrounded by People)You're living in the most connected yet disconnected time in history. Being around people all day—patients, staff, colleagues—isn't the same as being emotionally connected to them. Your relational needs aren't being met just because you're never alone.Start reconnecting with people you love first. Reach out to friends, family, your partner, your children—even your pets. Practice being present with them before trying to feel more connected at work. The Boundary Reality CheckBoundaries are an inside job. They can't come from the outside, and they will bump up against external expectations. People expect you to be an autonomous robot without needs—but that has never served you well. You cannot resolve everyone else's unrealistic expectations before you start taking care of yourself. That's a complete setup. You must set boundaries to continue doing the work you're called to do, because you cannot sustain this without rest and self-care.The Ripple Effect of Self-CareWhen you take care of yourself, you bring your best self to your patients and work environment. If you believe your mistakes cause lasting damage, you must also acknowledge that everything you do to prevent those mistakes brings lasting positives to your medical career.Remember This When You're StrugglingYou're navigating challenges that didn't exist for previous generations of physiciansYou don't have perfect models for how to balance medicine with wellnessBeing around people isn't the same as being connected to themBoundaries will face external resistance—that doesn't make them wrongTaking c Support the showTo learn more about my coaching practice and group offerings, head over to www.healthierforgood.com. You cannot live a positive life if you surround yourself with negative people, why? It's simple, you are the sum of the 5 people you spend a majority of your time with, just like our moms used to tell us when we were kids you become who you hang around so choose your friends wisely. Well as adults, this rule is even more important. Our circle dictates our environment and our environment has a significant influence on our thoughts, actions and beliefs. If you want to elevate, you are going to have to elevate your circle, if you wanna grow you are going to have to change your circle, if you are wanting to work toward becoming your best self then you need to spend your time with people who reflect who you wanna be not who you used to be. It's time to audit your circle and learn about the 4 People You need to surround yourself with right now!!

What's your perception of yourself? How do you view yourself? Based on that, what do you believe is or isn't available to you? What do you think you can have? What do you think you deserve?I'm posing these questions in relation to romance and relationship in today's episode. We often don't realize how the identities we've formed keep us limited in what we can receive, well, in any area, but specifically relationships. This is an area I look at closely when clients of mine have been perpetually single, struggle to meet people, or feel like they never connect deeply with anyone. This episode will resonate if:You feel like you're never going to meet anyoneYou've been on tons and tons of dates, but connect with few peopleYou face a lot of resistance to dating — you might get on an app and swipe, maybe go on one date, but your effort never gets that farYou're in a perpetual story of "This is never going to happen for me."Links referenced in this episode: Book on Shadow WorkWork with me PrivatelyConnect on InstagramWebsitePodcast Production by James Jorge

George's captivating career path is documented in his book, Still Laughing: A Life In Comedy. It's a hilarious page-turner that serves as a showbiz primer and history lesson. It's also self-improvement manual for anyone in search of creative inspiration. One of George's key mottos is: When all hope is fading, make them laugh. George has brazenly cracked up Frank Sinatra, Judy Garland and Cary Grant. Now it's your turn.George takes us backstage with Lucille Ball, Judy and Liza, Sammy Davis Jr. Stevie Wonder, Cher and the cast of Laugh-In. He tells us how he talked Lucy into riding an elephant with Steve Lawrence through Shubert Alley. He shares his secret network executive management technique: Get them drunk at lunch. And he offers astutely passionate observations about the current state of television and how it's changed since the turbulently transformative sixties.George believes that rules are guidelines that should be courageously challenged.
