Celebrating God moving here through us the people of Reallife
WOW! We serve an incredible God! He has truly been at work here at Mitchell Berean over this last year, just has he has been in the 70+ years of people gathering in this local body. We are seeing people come to faith in Jesus, disciples multiplying, the Gospel going out, missionaries being sent, shepherds being raised up, saints being equipped and serving faithfully, and God providing for us from His abundant riches. It is truly a blessing to sit back and reflect on who He is, what He has done, and how He is moving. Those three areas are where we want to focus as we gather for our Celebration Sunday this week! Who God is, and the unbelievable truth that He has sought after relationship with us. This alone is worthy of endless celebration, yet He goes beyond and has blessed us by doing so much for us! Then He invites us to be part of His mission and works through us! This all should have us overwhelmed with joy! Ephesians 1 teaches us about the blessings we received in Jesus that are ours in the heavenly places. God has lavished upon us in accordance with the riches of His grace found in Jesus for all who put their faith in Him. My prayer this week is that as we gather you come ready for joyous praise being lifted up to our ever deserving God! -Pastor Ben Key Verse: Ephesians 1:7 (NIV) - "In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace" For this week's Scripture and notes: http://bible.com/events/49496624
Twenty-Fourth Sunday After PentecostNovember 23, 2025
On this Celebration Sunday, we encounter passages that speak of dreadful portents, destruction, famines, plagues, persecution, and rejection. And yet, we do not fear. We understand that the reordering of the world always requires disordering. In times of great disorder, we remember that the worst things are never the last things—disorder can never be the end—because, at our very essence, we are resurrection people.
We've all received gifts that hold special meaning for us, but what do you do with the gift once the wrapping paper is tossed aside? Does it collect dust, or do you share it with others? The Holy Spirit has given us good gifts, like power, love, and self-discipline. The work of the Holy Spirit isn't meant for a moment, but for a movement. Instead of keeping these gifts to yourself, live boldly and share what the Lord has done! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

On October 26th, Pastor Bob Ingle spoke on being "Made New" in a standalone message as Waypoint held a Celebration Sunday - celebrating all the God has done, is doing, and will do.
This week Youth Director Tyler Wilhelm reminds us that in Christ we are made complete, our old selves buried and raised to new life through faith. Through the cross, Jesus canceled our debt and disarmed every spiritual power that stood against us. As we rest in His finished work, we're reminded that true freedom isn't found in human effort or tradition, but in the victory and sufficiency of Christ alone. In this Celebration Sunday message, Jeremy shares how Jesus' first miracle of turning water into wine reveals God's invitation for us to participate in His extraordinary work through ordinary obedience. Just as the servants at the wedding had to trust Jesus by filling the jars with water, we are called to pour out what we have—our time, resources, and prayers—trusting that Jesus will transform our efforts into something miraculous. Short-term mission trips and everyday acts of service become opportunities for others to "taste and see that the Lord is good" when we step out in faith and obedience.

Rev. Chris Jimmerson's service delivered on October 19, 2025. Each year, we make celebration a spiritual practice. We celebrate the differences we make in our world together, the joy that comes from being a part of and supporting this religious community, and our gratitude for all life has to offer.

On Celebration Sunday, Pastor Eric looks back on 27 years of SMCC and the past July–June season, pairing stories like the Jeepson family with transparent numbers to show how God is changing lives. Teaching through Psalm 100, Acts 14, Numbers, and Deuteronomy, he calls the church to worship with joy, practice gratitude, and contribute as part of God's ongoing story. The message casts vision toward 2030 and culminates in baptisms—an invitation for everyone to take a next step with Jesus.

Welcome to Wellspring Church! This Celebration Sunday—also known as Vision Sunday—Pastor Billy Waters preached from Matthew 28 on the Great Commission. He reminded us that Jesus' command to “make disciples of all nations” is not optional but the central calling of the Church. Programs, praise, and property are good gifts, but without true discipleship, we miss the heart of our mission.Looking to Psalm 1 and Jesus' parables, Pastor Billy emphasized that deep roots in God's Word and presence always lead to greater fruit. Over the past year, we've seen this lived out in powerful ways: 40 baptisms, growing youth and children's ministries, more than 50 discipleship groups, and God's abundant provision through generosity. As a church, we are entering a new season with a refreshed vision statement: “Here as it is in heaven.” This captures our call to live out deeper roots in Jesus and greater fruit for Jesus—so that our homes, neighborhoods, and city reflect the reality of heaven.

Every year we devote an entire Sunday to celebrate what God has done. This is a powerful time of testimonies, prayer, and celebration!

The book of Psalms reminds us that worship is meant to be at the center of our lives. While many speak about God in the third person, the Psalms invite us to speak directly to Him—with honesty and vulnerability. They are filled with expressions of praise, worship, repentance, frustration, longing, and more—raw emotions poured out from the heart to God.
