Through Christ's redeeming work, believers receive full adoption into God's family, the Spirit of sonship, and the inheritance of Christ Himself. Because of Jesus, we are no longer slaves but sons and daughters—fully loved, fully welcomed, and fully heirs of God Where in your life are you living more as an orphan instead of a son or daughter of God?
When God Turns Up the VolumeHearing God's Voice Through Pain, Wisdom, and CommunityIn a world full of noise, we've been learning how God speaks—through His Spirit, through prayer, through Scripture, and through the wisdom of others. But in Week Five of SIGNAL, we look at the loudest way God speaks.Through the story of Jonah, we discover that sometimes God doesn't whisper… He turns up the volume.Storms. Consequences. Interruptions. Seasons we never would have chosen.Pain has a way of getting our attention—and Scripture reminds us that God doesn't waste it.In this message, we unpack four powerful phrases God often shouts through painful seasons:Look Inside.Turn Around.Start Over.Get Ready.Pain isn't punishment—it's often preparation. The fish wasn't rejection—it was protection. And your storm may be the very place God is shaping your next assignment. If you feel like you're in the belly of the fish right now, this message is for you. Because when God turns up the volume, it's not to shame you. It's to save you.

Life can feel overwhelming, but God's got you. Today's message explores how Jesus calls us to trust Him above our worries and earthly concerns. In Matthew 6:19–34 we are reminded that God knows our needs and invites us to seek His kingdom first. By focusing on eternal priorities rather than temporary worries, we can experience His steadfast care and perfect peace. We also uncover how trusting in God's timing, relying on His care, and finding rest in His promises can help diminish fear— even when life feels uncertain. Listen in and discover how trusting God with your daily needs, big and small, brings a peace that truly surpasses understanding.Follow Crossroads Women's Ministry on Facebook or Instagram at go2crossroadswomens.If you'd like more information about Crossroads Community Church, find us on any social platform @go2crossroads.

The sermon closed out our series, The House God is Building. Joey reminded us that the Church's foundation is Christ, not any one person's strength, and that God's work among us hasn't been put on hold—even in a season of heartache or confusion. Despite our circumstances, we are called to be "salt and light" right now—not by having all the right answers, but by being a preserving presence for a world that is hurting and in need of hope. Just like the exiles in Jeremiah 29, we aren't supposed to withdraw and wait for life to feel stable again. Instead, we are invited to lean into the "mud" of our city, planting gardens of hope and seeking peace in the middle of our own uncertainty.Support the show

Our January Series, Red Flags will likely be revealing. It's so easy to see when *other people* are stepping out of line with what God's ways, but this series will encourage us to notice in ourselves the thing that are detracting from who God made us to be.
Jesus tells a story about a dishonest manager that makes many of us uncomfortable. Why would Jesus end a story by praising someone who acted dishonestly? In this message, we dig into Luke 16:1–9 and discover that Jesus isn't endorsing dishonesty, but pointing to something deeper: urgency, clarity about the future, and how we use what's been entrusted to us right now. This parable confronts our tendency to coast, assume tomorrow will look like today, and delay living fully for God's kingdom. Instead, Jesus invites us to live with intentionality and to use our resources, relationships, and influence in light of eternity. In Romans 2, Paul explains that it's not religious traditions that matter, but a true transformation of the heart. Jesus places this line at the heart of the prayer, directly after “Give us our daily bread.” The order is intentional: after praying for daily provision, we turn to our daily need for grace. The very structure of the prayer teaches us that forgiveness is not a side issue—it's central to life in the Kingdom. Jesus reminds us that sin is never the starting point—God's character is. The prayer begins not with “Lord, I've messed up,” but with “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name.” Before we ever name our failures, we are reminded of God's goodness, mercy, and invitation to belong. Unforgiveness, however, is one of the greatest threats to that abundant life. It's like a self-made prison—the longer we cling to resentment, the more we discover that we've locked ourselves in. Forgiveness, then, is not pretending something didn't hurt—it's choosing that the hurt no longer gets to be Lord of our life. Jesus' command to forgive others “as we forgive our debtors” is not about earning God's forgiveness; it's about allowing His mercy to so deeply shape our hearts that it naturally flows outward. In the Kingdom of God, mercy received becomes mercy given.Support the show
