In this episode we talk about the kind of limiting stories we often tell ourselves and those stories can manifest quickly. I also share with you a bunch of stories from my recent holiday; a train accident, delayed flights, diverted flight and more and, of course, what I learnt from it... Ready?
Do you have a book, a passion project, or a business idea that is stuck in your head? Are you looking for a system to help move your creative ideas from the realm of the imagination to physical reality? If so, you're going to love today's guest, Emily Tamaya Meyer. Emily teaches us that turning the chakras upside down is the path to creativity. Usually chakra practices begin at the root and work upward, but Emily explains how, and why, when it comes to creation, you start at the Crown Chakra, where your divine inspiration comes from, and work down. Whether you are a new or seasoned creator, listen now to learn this fresh approach to turning the chakras upside down to create your masterpiece. For full show notes, information about my guest, and the links mentioned in the show, visit the home of The Thinking Vitamins Podcast.Thank you for listening! During today's Friday Fire I talk about how when we are creating, building or starting anything it will always go though an "ugly" period where the project doesn't look exactly like you have it imagined in your mind. This could be baking a cake, or painting a picture or starting a business, though in the early stages it is in the building/ creation phase where it doesn't always look pretty, though don't get down on yourself and more importantly don't let others put you down. Imagine if you were baking bread and you had only mixed the flour and water and someone critiqued your work saying this looks nothing like bread. If you give in or give up too early you will never create your masterpiece. It is said, that the quality of our life, is in direct proportion to the quality of our questions we ask ourselves. Meaning, ask a crappy question and you get a crappy answer and outlook on life. Join us as we talk about quality questions that you can use to focus and attract more of what you want in your life. Our mind is freaking powerful!! But it cannot focus on two thoughts at once. So, it's time to use this to your advantage!!Too many of us are focused on people's opinions of ourselves instead of focusing on creating a life we are in love with. Here is to you making this next decade of your life, one that you love for yourself!! Not on trying to make others happy or meet their approval. Here are some great questions to ask yourself as you step into a new year and a new decade to help you focus on the things that really matter.1. What was great about this last year / decade?2. Who are some of the people who I look up to and want to spend more time around in 2020?3. What would I do / try if I knew I couldn't fail?4. Where is one place I would love to travel too and experience?5. What is something new I want to learn?6. Who is someone I want to give back to in 2020?7. What is something / someone I choose to give up that is no longer serving me?8. What was something that happened in the last 10 years, that at the time I thought was the worst thing that could have happened? But now I see it as a blessing?9. How am I going to take care of my body and my health this year ahead?10. Who are the people I can count on as accountability buddies that I know will have my back?11. What is something I have been too scared to do, but am going to go for it this year?12. Who's opinion really matter in my life moving forward?13. What was a goal you set for yourself that was once a dream, but now you have achieved?14. What is an area of your life that you know needs your focus this new year so you can live your best life?15. Who and what resources / audio books / seminars etc can help you make that happen?16. What is something you are proud of about yourself from this past year? And how are you going to do more of that in 2020?17. What is a new positive habit that you are going to choose for 2020?18. What do you need to remember about who you really are for 2020 so that the world gets to see the real you.19. What are you most grateful for in life right now?20. What advice would you give to yourself if you could travel back to 2010? And how can you use that to your advantage for 2020 and beyond?SOCIALInstagram: @empowered.womens.project/Facebook: @kate.golleWebsite: http://www.dreamlifestylers.comThanks to our sponsor: www.tribalwellness.comCONNECT WITH USwebsite: www.empoweredwomensproject.cominstagram: @empowered.womens.project/youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFDk0QZ0DYfUOPJFfTYAaog
