Episode 101 is the first of what we hope are many more firsts in the coming years! This time André hits the road and attends the East Coast Comic Expo in Moncton and while slinging his artwork took some time to host a panel with former guests of this show Troy Little and Jim Zubb about their amazing collaborative work on Rick & Morty / Dungeons & Dragons. Listen in as the two creators discuss how that project came to be and the sheer level of detail given to the character designs and rules for the various editions of the game used in the book. Being a live panel many guests had some questions of their own which you'll get to hear as well! A great conversation with two impressive creative talents!
Our host has always wanted to sit down with the organizer of a comic convention and what better way to finally do that than to talk with the co-creator of one of the best comic book focused conventions in Canada! The East Coast Comic Expo! Don Mann has seemingly sought his whole life to find a "community" in the graphic novel world. Though it took many years, a lot of planning and help from a handful of like minded people he managed to bring a unique celebration of comic books, their fans and creators together for many years with no end in sight! Listen in as Don talks about finally finding a fellowship in Halifax at the fabled Strange Adventures, growing up near André's current home in Colchester and surviving a serious heart attack .
