There is seemingly no detail too small for big-budget movies to get right–except bartending, that is. While lots of films depict bartenders at work, few of them get the details correct. On this episode of Fix Me a Drink, award-winning hosts David Wondrich and Noah Rothbaum discuss the history of bartending on film while enjoying classic Moscow Mules–a drink that was actually created in Los Angeles. They are joined by expert bartenders and raconteurs Jeffrey Morgenthaler, who runs the bar Pacific Standard in Portland, Oregon, and Eric Alperin from the famed L.A. bar the Varnish. Cheers!
