What happens when the hosts become the guests on their own 100th episode? A wildly entertaining journey through the unexpected origin story of In Moderation.Mike takes the hosting reins as Liam and Rob reflect on how their paths first crossed through videos debunking health misinformation (it always comes back to Bobby). From Liam's background in sleep medicine to Rob overcoming social anxiety by posting videos during the pandemic, their conversation reveals how three content creators accidentally found an audience by simply being themselves. The discussion veers into gloriously unpredictable territory as they fantasize about purchasing a DeLorean ("I want cat eyes and my feet cut off to fit in a DeLorean, but man, I'm rolling in style!"), debate which horse body part they'd transplant onto themselves, and share the compliments and criticisms they receive most often. Between laughs, they reveal how they've grown more comfortable with their online personas while staying true to their mission of helping people overcome unnecessary food fears.Beneath the absurdity lie surprisingly profound moments, like their shared belief that "it takes more energy to be a dick" and the importance of recognizing that "history repeats itself." These glimpses of wisdom amid the chaos showcase why In Moderation has cultivated such a dedicated following - authentic voices cutting through misinformation with equal parts science and humor.Whether you're a long-time listener or first-time discoverer, this centennial celebration captures everything that makes In Moderation special. Leisel’s still away, but Spida's imagination is definitely not. Today he’s convinced she’s trading Olympic gold for a pair of boxing gloves and stepping into the ring with Paul Gallen. Is it true? Probably not. But is it wildly entertaining? Absolutely. Meanwhile, Joolz rolls in late again, looking like a human highlighter, and the team dives headfirst into building their dream burgers. From Liam’s chip medley and Spidas questionable “alpinos” to Liams spicy mayo obsession, it’s enough to make you hungry and concerned. Then it’s all about those misheard lyrics you’ve been belting out wrong for years. Think “Hold me close, I’m tired of dancing” or “We built Knox City with sausage rolls.” Listener Rod even rewrote an entire Green Day song as a tribute to Shane Warne, and honestly… it slaps.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

China is back on the calendar and everyone got caught in the sprint race by the paint, the rain and the new-ish track. Bridgette channels her inner Cersei Lannister as she decides "I choose violence" as we break down the Ferrari drama, Alonso's wiley moves and Lando's fall & redemption.Hard to miss poor Danny Ric though. From Liam inching all the way to the pit wall to Stroll missing basic driver's ed lessons about who's at fault. Stroll continues his streak of accomplishing the unthinkable and made us miss Latifi this weekend! This season's all about silly so we swap over to that ASAP. That is, Marko is stirring the pot about a Sainz + Audi deal as the main holdup in his Red Bull ascendancy. Is it real? What does that mean? Especially in light of Alonso's new contract which may mean he's in our F1 lives forever. Lots of shade and contract rationales to discuss. Finally, we give an update on Andretti before we head back to the USA. Up next, Welcome to Miami! For more high-octane content, send us your race reactions or dish out some F1 tea:twitter: @modepushf1 instagram: @modepushf1 web: www.mode-push-f1.come-mail: modepushf1@gmail.com

The Oilers extended their winning streak to six games with a big win over the Cancuks on Saturday, which means we had plenty to talk about on the brand new Tuesday episode of Oilersnation Radio. On today's show, we're talking about trade pieces, untouchable prospects, Liam's trivia challenge, and a whole lot more.To kick off this week's Tuesday podcast, we got started with a conversation about potential trade pieces and whether or not there are truly any untouchable prospects if we're fishing for rentals at the deadline. If we're talking about making a trade for a guy that's strictly a rental for down the stretch, where should the line be drawn in terms of who's available? From there, we ran through a few housekeeping options as the Oilers only have two games this week, which also left plenty of room for shenanigans. From Liam's burger rankings to the weird English sandwiches he's pushing, we admittedly let the podcast fall off the rails for a few minutes. Getting back to the Oilers, Liam put together a trivia game for the boys that was incredibly difficult but was a great time anyway. Lastly, we wrapped up the Tuesday episode of Oilersnation Radio with another riveting round of Word Association that Tyler spent so much work putting together. Hosted on Acast. This episode finds us 'crossing the pond' to connect with Great Britain Manager Liam Carroll and the Baseball Brit himself Joey Mellows as we detail their unique paths towards educating their country on the wonders of baseball. From Liam's journey in rejuvenating a national team and taking a grassroots effort to grow homegrown talent to Joey as his efforts to bring more exposure to baseball through his commitment to immerse himself in the game, this is an inspiring conversation and one that will certainly bring our listeners appreciation for baseball in our own respective areas.
Becoming a father changed my life. From the moment I held my eldest son, to the most recent memory of announcing that my wife and I had a daughter, becoming a parent has been one of the most rewarding, and punishing things of my existence (I say that lovingly of course). I can't imagine what I'd do, or how I felt if I lost one of my kids. It'd break me. I don't know how I'd cope with it, process it, or even overcome it... Patrick Thomson had to do that. He didn't lose one of his sons to death, but he lost his son, Liam, to something close to it; addiction. Patrick, along with his wife, Andrea, were steadily losing their middle son to the power and influence of addictions and they weren't sure how they were going to make out at the end of it. But you know what? They decided to be courageous and literally love their son THROUGH hell no matter what happened next. From Liam moving out of their home at a young age, being threatened by a gang to pay off Liam's debt, to finally experiencing reconciliation and healing with their son (and his victory over addiction), they have been through it ALL. And guess what? They're not done there either! They have launched an incredible program called Courageous Relationships (www.courageousrelationships.com) based on their experience, and victory, with not only helping their son overcome his addictions, but miraculously keeping their relationship with him in tact. This is a story you have to listen to. This is a story you need to take into account. Enjoy, and pay attention.
