Det sker i forbindelse med en genudgivelse af Ian Flemings populære 007-romaner for at markere, at det er 70 år siden, at den første bog, 'Casino Royale', blev udgivet. Spionbøgerne er blevet gennemgået af sensivitetslæsere, som har peget på potentielt stødende ord og vendinger. Vi ser på briternes forhold til Bond sammen med Lone Theils, forfatter og tidligere korrespondent i Storbritannien. Repræsentanter fra museer i hele landet er i dag inviteret til møde med kulturminister Jakob Engel-Schmidt for at komme med forslag til den kommende museumsreform. Its true- Christine Granville was the most highly decorated female spy of WWII and Ian Fleming had loved her. She was the inspiration for his first Bond girl Vesper Lynd (played by Eva Green in the 2006 version of Casino Royale.)Casino Royale was his first book and he met Chrisitine while working in British Intelligence. Dr No eller Agent 007 Med rätt att döda hade världspremiär den 5 oktober 1962 med den unge Sean Connery som Bond och Ursula Andress som historiens första Bond-brud. Totalt har det blivit 22 filmer genom åren baserade på Ian Flemings böcker och i höst är det premiär för den senaste i raden, Skyfall med Daniel Craig i rollen som Bond. I Nya Vågen diskuterar filmkritikerna Michael Tapper och Malin Krutmeijer fenomenet Bond. Vem bestämmer bäst hur de offentliga kulturpengarna ska fördelas - politiker eller tjänstemän? I Malmö har kulturnämndens nye ordförande Daniel Sestrajcic (V) väckt debatt genom sitt sätt att flytta över makt från tjänstemän till politiker. Dessutom fick han många synpunkter när han gick in och bestämde Stadsbibliotekets öppettider. Han debatterar med Stockholms kulturborgarråd Madeleine Sjöstedt (Fp). I helgen öppnade utställningen Tutankhamun - Graven och skatterna på nya Malmömässan. Utställningen som turnerar världen runt, visar inte mindre än 1000 kopior av föremålen från Tutankhamuns grav.
