I don't want to speak for John, but as for me, the factory where I work announced they'll be closing the plant sometime within the next year or two. That means while I have a job now, I won't for much longer so I'm actively enrolling in trade school trying to get some certifications that look good on a resume. There's a chance I could get offered a position in Fort Wayne IN but even if I did, my wife and kids don't want to move. Honestly, I don't either as that's too far for me outside of the southeast and it's not like I can count on that. Plus, I'm currently an active serving deacon at my church and while that doesn't typically take up a lot of time, it's one more thing along with working full time, class, and being a dad. I went ahead paused the Patreon last night because I'm not sure when or if we'll be back. Maybe we'll just take a break and come back. Maybe if we come back we'll try to do a YouTube show. Maybe instead, I'll try and help my teenage son launch a YouTube gaming channel. Maybe we'll both just never find our way back. There is just so much uncertainty right now and I don't really know how the next couple of years are going to play out. The only thing I know for certain is it will be much different from the way things are now.We do have at least one episode in raw audio on a hard drive that at some point I want to finish up and release. Also, I'd like to get with John and at least do one more and explain what's going on with us. I really do miss the long conversations with John but I don't miss all the other stuff that goes along with editing and producing a podcast. You can often feel like you're just talking into a black hole and nobody cares, so it's actually reassuring when people reach out. Mike Steger of Promethean Action rejoins the Economic Review to examine the economics behind globalism and why he believes the model has become a losing proposition for the United States—and ultimately for nations around the world. The statistics couldn't be much worse, yet the FDA approved its use. This follows on the heels of the Navy mandating the flu vaccine for specified personnel, after the broader military mandate had previously been lifted.
