Judd Burton Bio:I can remember when I was just a lad, somewhere around ten years old, being in love with new experiences and ideas. The springboard for my interests as they are today came in the form of one Dr. George Knight, professor of New Testament at Hardin-Simmons University, and an accomplished field archaeologist. It just so happened that his brother-in-law, Reverend Wayne Keller, was the pastor at my church. Our congregation had the great fortune of Dr. Knight's leadership in a number of seasonal bible studies throughout the year. To my great delight, he always added tales of his work on archaeological sites in the Near East. That's really all it took for me, because I drank it all in, and it became part of me. I have ever since been an explorer: a direct result of the marriage of faith in Jesus Christ and academic enthusiasm.I have a BA in History from Hardin-Simmons University. I also have an MA in anthropology from Texas Tech University. This year I completed my PhD in history at Texas Tech University, focusing my studies on Early Christianity and Greco-Roman religions. I also study topics such as the survival of mythology, sacred geography, folk religion, and contemporary alternative religious movements.I grew up in a small town called Merkel, Texas. I went to school there, learned from such wonderful teachers as Chuck Roach, Lisa Amerine, Alvin O'Dell, and Lisa Walker. Merkel also afforded me the opportunity to learn how to play the guitar, and yes, be in a rock band, Black Pearl. The little hamlet of Merkel was a wonderful place to grow up. You hear people in the conspiracy community mention Project Blue Beam as a government program. Some even state it as fact as being a program under NASA. But did you know there is no actual program called "Project Blue Beam?" It was a term given by author Serge Monast to illustrate a point (no pun intended) that government my be able to project holographic images in the sky to deceive the public. There isn't a Project Blue Beam under NASA, even if NASA satelites and such might be used for some projection image (which we also have no proof they are doing or will do). We have to be careful when citing something as fact that was made up by someone and caught on. We can only speculate what the government might do with technology.

This is the difference between mere Christians and disciples.15) You will never know the fullness of the joy of serving God to the utmost until you have forsaken all to follow Jesus Christ.16) If God is worth serving at all, He's worth serving fulltime and all the way!17) If the Devil can't keep you from being a Christian, he'll try to keep you from being a revolutionary Christian!18) Time and time again, Jesus' acid test for His prospective disciples was if they were willing to forsake all, drop everything, leave it all behind and follow Him!19) This is always the greatest witness to others: When you really give up everything and forsake all to follow Jesus and devote your full time in service to Him!20) Jesus bought and paid for us, we're His property, we belong to Him now! You don't just belong to yourself anymore, and you can't just do as you please!21) You either work for God, or you're going to have to work for the Devil!--The choice is yours!22) If you want to follow Jesus one hundred percent, you've got to forsake all and preach the Gospel!23) If you choose God's way, when you see Jesus and the results, you're going to know it was worth it all! Giving your life to His service is an eternal investment that will pay dividends in Heaven and souls for ever and ever and ever!24) "Watch and pray, that you enter not into temptation" that might lead you astray from the straight and narrow way which leads to the highest crown and greatest reward! (Mt.26:41; 7:13,14; Ph.3:13,14).25) "Only one life, 'twill soon be past! Only what's done for Christ will last!" What are you doing?--For whom?--Will it last forever for Jesus and others?26) "He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain that which he cannot lose!" It's better to die for something than to live--and die--for nothing! Start living TODAY!--There's only ONE WAY!--For JESUS!
