US Army Specialist Sarah Beckstrom, 20, originally from Webster Springs, West Virginia, died after being shot Wednesday. US Air Force Staff Sergeant Andrew Wolfe, 24, remains in critical condition. Federal authorities have identified the suspected shooter as Rahmanullah Lakanwal, 29, an Afghan national who previously worked with US forces and the CIA in Afghanistan before arriving in the US in 2021. He was subdued shortly after the shooting and taken into custody. Trump said he is in serious condition.2) President Trump called for “reverse migration” in the US as he outlined a series of potential measures to crack down on immigration, including halting admissions from unspecified developing nations and revoking citizenship from some naturalized migrants. In a pair of Truth Social posts late Thursday that disparaged many US immigrants, Trump said he would “permanently pause migration from all Third World Countries” and “denaturalize migrants who undermine domestic tranquility.” Trump offered no details on how he would implement these policies or what he considers a “third world” country, an ill-defined and often offensive term for developing nations. Congress for years has failed to pass major immigration reforms, and courts have blocked some of his previous executive orders limiting immigration.3) Washington's proposals for ending the war in Ukraine could be the basis for future agreements, but no final version exists yet, Russian President Vladimir Putin said, while signaling an openness to talks. The good news is that they're weak to bolt damage, so blast em from above and watch them break into little pieces! Starter Tip: As constructs, they're immune to poison damage (and the poisoned status) and resistant to earth damage! Don't waste your time, just smash 'em! On Wednesday, November 26th, at approximately 2:15 p.m., two West Virginia National Guard members were targeted in an ambush-style attack near the White House. The incident occurred in a bustling area of Washington D.C., specifically at 17th and I Street Northwest, close to the Farragut Metro stop. Officials have confirmed that the attack was deliberate. Thus do Veile, Elena, Nicky, and Jonathan head towards the shoreline, towards new adventures—and for one of them, old haunts. You may not know Spillaway Peaks. Indeed, places like that are too easily overlooked. Many would tell you a history of Tidaline, Perpetua's Western Continent, focused only on its greatest kingdom, its most powerful church, and the invading armada that scourges its shores. And while Grand Sonnerie, the Holy Protectorate, and the Valte Empire have tried as hard as they can to control the chronicling of time, take it from this old historian: The smallest gust can usher in a hurricane. So learn these names:  Belowave. Geseis. Nezt. Invernal. Salann. Burgton. Stitchscore. Spillaway Peaks. Cities hidden under the waves or behind the hills. Places which turned away warships with simple ribbons, or confounded pillagers with puzzles. One village of games, one village of spies, one village where soldiers refused to be soldiers anymore.  Call them parochial or call them provincial if you must, but understand this. Perpetua is not the territory of territory alone. It is not a battlefield made by battalions. It is a world where heroes move history, and where heroes have homes. For his actions that day, he was awarded the FBI Medal of Valor and U.S. Attorney General's Award for Exceptional Heroism in recognition of exceptional acts of heroism involving the voluntary risk of personal safety and life performed in the line of duty in the face of a criminal encounter.
