On this very special episode of Mummy Dearest Podcast, Zach and Sloane unwrap season 6 of Peaky Blinders! It was um, in a word, disappointing. The season felt slow and then rushed and they gave us so much Lizzie, which no one asked for (especially not Tommy.) They gave us big character deaths, they gave us tuberculosis, they gave us opium addiction, but they failed to give us heart and soul and the stuff that Peaky Blinders fans want and need. Overall the season wasn't great but that doesn't mean we won't wait with breath that is bated for the Peaky Blinders movie which will be released in 40 years. Enjoy this special episode of Mummy Dearest and let Zach and Sloane know what you thought about the Peaky FOOKIN' Blinders! Support the show
In this episode Mark talks about one of his favourite TV shows: the British period drama television series "Peaky Blinders" created by Steven Knight. Set in Birmingham, England, the series stars Cillian Murphy as Thomas "Tommy" Shelby, the head of the "Peaky Blinders" crime gang, and follows his and his family's exploits following the direct aftermath of the First World War, as well as Tommy's rise to power over the years in which his influence has reached beyond where and what he knows. The series features an ensemble cast, including: Helen McCrory, Paul Anderson, Sam Neil, Annabelle Wallis, Iddo Goldberg, Tom Hardy, Anya Taylor-Joy, Adrien Brody, and Stephen Graham. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/markthepoet/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/markthepoet/support

Jesus (1999) is one of the latest Jesus films being released only 8 years ago. It first aired on CBS in America and Sky in the UK, but has been broadcast many times since in a number of different countries. Whilst unmistakably set in the 1st Century it takes a very modern approach to the story.
