Today my guest is a gentleman who represents the opportunities that still exist for people who are willing to dream big and take action. He came from a small town in Michigan, is a former rapper, is a current entrepreneur, and has a superpower that allows him to get aligned with powerful and inferential leaders across multiple industries. He and I met a few months back at a local real estate meet-up hosted by Ryan Zolan and immediately I could feel positive energy vibrating off from him. We got to talking and I learned that he headed the marketing for Dean Graziosi and Tony Robbins during the launch Knowledge Broker Blueprint program which was actually one of the first digital courses I ever purchased. In today's episode, we are going to dive into his origin story, learn what it was like coming from a small town, how he made the transition into a new marketplace, the importance of proximity to the right people, What difference does marketing make in a business, the mindset needed to grow and thrive in a fast-changing environment, and what he is currently working on today with Ryan Zolan and The Launch of Investor Agent.

This week we sit down with John Cahalan from XOi technologies. Coming up in a family with a background in manufacturing, John got his start in the small Florida town of Lakeland and began his professional career like so many others (almost). He was awarded a scholarship and attended University of Florida for Sports Management before ultimately deciding to pursue a career working with his hands. He quickly found a job in construction, then to a modular building, and ultimately ended up working in software at XOi as the Sr. Process Engineer serving the trades in a manner that he never before fathomed. We talk about the value of trade-work, the places it can take you, and the overall satisfaction in life that can be realized with a little hard work and a hands-on approach. Some people do it for the money, some do it for the fame, few do it to avenge the name of their great great ancestors. Such is the case with Brady Hale, who has found success in the trades after coming from a "white collar" job as a banker. He decided to shift gears, work with his hands, and move through the ranks in the commercial cooking equipment repair trade and now commercial HVAC/R. Everything he has done so far was all to lead him to where he's at today, being able to start his own business, as his great ancestors did, and live his own definition of success. No matter what your definition of success is, it can be realized through what most consider to be blue collar work. The truth is that, with a little hard work and determination, a career in the trades can give you all the same things as a college education, and more. Whether you define success as time off, traveling, money, or just feeling accomplished at the end of every day, you can achieve it in this field. Tyson is a perfect example of how the trades can literally take you anywhere.
