In this fun and interesting podcast Cousin Nancy interviews her dear friends Jay Pennington and Gerry Olert of Olert & Pennington Productions about their latest award-winning feature film Heart Cycles. Jay and Gerry are known for making films on shoestring budgets that are high quality films that win many awards. In fact, last year Cousin Nancy actually played a small part acting like a crazy, old woman who spends most of her time stacking rocks when not worrying about her outlaw son— in Vinegar To Honey soon to be released. In this episode, between Cousin Nancy's corny jokes, the two discuss both  their backgrounds and how they met and work so well together. And they also talk about the multi-talented actors/actresses and the awesome music score that has made Heart Cycles a must-see feature film. For more information and pictures about Heart Cycles, Jay Pennington and Gerry Olert please go to www.cousinnancy.com and follow the link to my blog. Thank y'all for listening and please always remember my favorite quote, "Life is short and so am I!"P.S. Please check out Jay and Gerry on Facebook, too!

Jay Pennington - Take a walk with me down Fascination Street as I get to know actor and Texas boy Jay Pennington. I was very excited to find out that Jay lives in the same small town as I do, just outside of San Antonio. This is the first episode of Fascination Street recorded in person AT MY HOUSE! It was a lot of fun and I hope you streetwalkers enjoy it too.In this episode Jay and I chat about his career before he got into acting, (its quite historic actually). We also talk about how he discovered acting and what led him to it. Of course we discuss some of his past and future projects, and along the way Jay gives some advice and a few tips for those who may be just getting started in the acting business. Enjoy!Follow Jay on social media:Face Book: Jay PenningtonIMDB: Jay Pennington

Chef Edgar Pendley of Nashville's Urban Grill joins host Eli Sussman for a chat around the Springer Mountain Farm campfire at Charleston Wine + Food. Urban Grub is a casual fine dining spot located in a renovated carwash in Nashville’s booming 12 South district. The indoor-outdoor restaurant-bar opened as a signature landmark on 12th Avenue South in the Spring of 2012, as a project led by seasoned restaurateur Jay Pennington and Chef Edgar Pendley. Chef Edgar Pendley has created a diverse menu featuring everything from fresh seafood and house-made pasta to tender chops and prime in-house dry-aged steaks. In the back-of-house at Urban Grub, you’ll find more than your typical commercial kitchen. Pastas are made in house in a vintage pasta machine, the meat pantry is well stocked with freshly butchered pigs, goats, lambs and cows, and the meat curing room has slabs of bacon, prosciutto and culatello aging and curing in preparation for its debut on The Grub’s world-class charcuterie boards.
