Today, Keith and Shannon Knight own and operate multifamily properties in North Texas. Prior to getting into apartment investing they purchased and operated a few single family vacation rentals in Orlando. It was a very profitable business but lacked the scalability. Luckily they found an education and mentoring group and became hooked on investing in apartments. They started in 2019 with the acquisition of a stabilized two property portfolio- of 40 units. In 2020, they purchased a 60 unit, heavy value add property. They spent over $28,000 a unit in rehab. Wow! Listen to the Knights share their story on how they got into apartment investing and the success they have had. What exactly are paralegal ethics and why do they matter? In this edition of the Paralegal Voice, Carl Morrison talks with Keith Shannon about the heavy weight of ethics in the paralegal profession. Because paralegals hold vulnerable information in trust, competence in ethical rules is crucial to protecting their firm, clients, and even themselves. Carl and Keith begin their discussion with a broad overview of basic ethics definitions and then zero in on best practices for conscientious adherence to ethics rules. We spoke to Keith Shannon the British Ambassador for Latvia about following the club abroad, then we chatted to skipper Quincy Rowe about striking the work/football balance as a semi-professional. We also have our food and booze reviews, our tense quiz feature and the inside scoop from the iTunes Christmas party.
Keith Shannon is an inspirational entrepreneur who recently built a business that hit high six figures in only its second year!!! How did he do this so quickly? Simple – he expertly positioned himself from the get-go and he’ll explain exactly how he did that in this episode. One of the things I love about Keith is that he’s a super high energy guy so it’s always fun talking to him and I think you’re going to love this show. When he’s not making money as an entrepreneur Keith rocks it out as Nikki Sixx in the Mötley Crüe tribute band Mötley 2.0.
