At that time, I only hosted at Mahogany Urban Poetry Series every third Wednesday but two years ago I agreed to host Joe Montoya’s Poetry Unplugged every fourth Thursday at Luna’s Cafe. Open Mic Sketchbook was based on my time hosting at Mahogany but now that I’m hosting at two locations I thought of making Open Mic Sketchbook broader. Poet City is that concept.
