The Endless 08 project has now been through 15 shows, and it's time for a retrospective episode to sort out the good, the bad, and the completely average. BJ and Duffo place the anime they have watched so far into a ladder ranking, reflecting on the following shows: Gunslinger Girl: Il Teatrino; Shigofumi: Letters From The Departed; Toradora!; Vampire Knight; Ga-Rei: Zero; RIN: Daughters of Mnemosyne; They Are My Noble Masters; The Tower of Druaga: The Aegis of Uruk; A Certain Magical Index; Spice and Wolf; Top Secret: The Revelation; ChäoS;HEAd; Bamboo Blade; To LOVE-Ru; and Soul Eater. Our theme song is Endless 808 by I.K.
Endless 08 moves to a late night programming block for Xebec and Genco's erotic mystery thriller RIN: Daughters of Mnemosyne. BJ and Duffo discuss Japan's approach to nudity and censorship, untangle a complex assassination plot involving rare stamps, Soviets and angel hackers, and visit a torture castle that sucks. Our theme song is Endless 808 by I.K.

Let’s face it, the hosts of Motel Hell are sick and depraved individuals and this week’s episode really drives that point home. Ben the Beardo and Dick Fetti dive into the wonderful world of Ero Guro Nansensu or エログロ. Or for the layman, extra gross hentai. From “high art” and hardcover books to the gurochan message board and deep web, Motel Hell covers it all. Ben the Beardo and Dick Fetti maintain their status as anime nerds and briefly discuss the first episode of "RIN: Daughters of Mnemosyne", a mini-series from 2008. Dick Fetti shares about his deep love of Discordance Axis for the Disco Box this week and the Beardo reviews another book. Shadon found another unusual recording on his hard drive, this time of an anime he once watched one episode of and thought was rather rubbish. However, galactic tyrant, he of a thousand mandibles and gacha game enthusiast Zyvox the Unyielding saw the whole of Rin: Daughters of Mnemosyne through. To say what I did for this was an undertaking is fairly accurate. You can look at title and think I am doing just two maybe three things this round. Well you would be very very wrong my friend(s). While I do review Chrome Shelled Regios, interesting title I know, and Eden of the East plus the Eden of the East movie: The King of Eden; I'm also reviewing 6 other shows. Some may look twice at that number and wonder what I was thinking and then also wonder if the show is a little over 40 minutes how is he reviewing 9 shows? Well while I do fully review the first 3 anime I announced above the remaining 6 shows are covered respectively in about 12 minutes. So for my First Impressions, as I like to call it, I'm going over Girls Bravo, Gun Sword, Birdy the Mighty: Decode, Dragonaut: The Resonance, Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom, and also Rin: Daughters of Mnemosyne. I really think I covered a good range of shows this week and hopefully you enjoy the show! Opening Song- Irony by ClariS Closing Song- Dance Rock Night by Girugamesh
With all the guests I’ve been having recently, I should rename the show from Animeshon, to ‘Josh and Friends’ Amazing Anime Podcast’. That being said, with me is Chris Stanton from the kickass SHAFT webshow. I had one of the guys from SHAFT on before, if you recall the Anime Asylum Podcast (plans on doing another one are going on). Of course, all of us are on the Anime Digital Dysfunction Network (their twitter), where you’ll find other awesome podcasts. And speaking of awesome podcasts, I’d like to give a shout out to Gundamn@MAHQ for supporting the show.Download 0:00 - 0:27 Opening0:27 – 1:56 Godannar – Akira Kushida1:56 – 24:33 NewsKizumonogatariIt was episode 23 where the email was readDr. House vs Dr. Black JackAnime is dead…again?Kodansha is suedBlack Rock HahnEva Bust24:33 – 24:51 SHAFT Thanks for being on the show again Chris.
