Han slog igenom på 60-talet när rockscenen var ny, och är en av få så tidigt tända stjärnor som fortfarande står kvar. Här åker Sveriges okrönte rockkung tillbaka till barndomens kvarter i Solna. Hemma på Huvudstagatan brukade han stå i enrummarens kök och titta på flygplanen som lyfte från flygplatsen i Bromma.  Och då vet jag att jag tänkte: jag kommer nog aldrig att få flyga någon gång. Det är det bara de rika som gör, säger Jerry.  Uppväxten i Solna har präglat hela Jerrys liv. Han fick inte bara vänner för livet och ett bandylag att hålla på, utan också sina röda värderingar och sitt brinnande intresse för musik.  Strax innan det här programmet spelades in fyllde Jerry Williams 75 år och i sommar drar han ut på nya spelningar. Av de 60 åren på scenen har han bland annat lärt sig att aldrig kliva på scenen utan att "stridspissa", men än så länge har han inget svar på när han ska kliva av, berättar han. Så länge man får lira så spelar det ingen roll i vilka former. Bara det låter som man vill att det ska låta, och så länge som det är ett bra band.  Programmet är gjort våren 2017 av Stina Ivansson, produktionsbolaget SMT Radio.

Han föddes svag, sjuklig och man funderade på slakt. Men det slutade med att Legolas med sin stora charm tog 19 raka segrar och blev travsportens mest betydande häst i början av 1980-talet. Ingen annan häst har betytt så mycket för svensk travsport som Legolas, säger dåvarande marknadsdirektör för ATG, Remy Nilson.Som föl var Legolas svag, ofta sjuk och hade ett hett humör. Om det inte varit för att travtränare Thomas Nilsson ville hjälpa sin vän, som födde upp hästar, hade Legolas troligtvis gått till slakt. I stället blev han den mest kända travhästen genom tiderna och satte svensk travsport på kartan.Legolas, som fått sitt namn efter alvprinsen från Sagan om ringen, blev snabbt en storfavorit och när ATG gick in med reklampengar och började marknadsföra Legolas tog svenska folket snabbt den opålitliga hästen till sina hjärtan.Trots återkommande skador vann Legolas sina första 19 lopp på raken. 1983 deltog han i VM-loppet på Roosevelt Raceway i New York.Under sin karriär sprang Legolas in över 3 miljoner i prispengar.I Svenska ikoner berättar tränare Thomas Nilsson, skötare Lotta Nilsson, ATGs dåvarande marknadsdirektör Remy Nilson och radiosportens Uno Hedin om en makalös travhäst som tog svenska folket med storm.Programmet är gjort av Anna Berg genom produktionsbolaget SMT Radio.

Det är 50 år sedan hustrun Anna-Lisa hittade sin Jussi livlös i sängen på Siarö. Han blev 49 år. Jussi Björling var och är fullkomligt unik. Han var folkets och allmänhetens sångare. I Folkets Jussi intervjuas Jussi Björlings bortadopterade dotter Kickie Ekman för första gången. I programmet berättar hon om hur hon fick reda på att hon var dotter till Jussi Björling. Och om sitt enda möte med sin biologiska mamma. Jussi Björling hade fem barn. Fyra av dem hade han kontakt med under sin livstid. Ann-Charlotte, Lars och Anders växte upp med pappa Jussi. Den förstfödde sonen Rolf växte upp med sin mor men det femte barnet: Kickie Ekman bortadopterades tidigt. Kickie träffade bara sin biologiska pappa sporadiskt och då som farbror Jussi, aldrig som pappa. Programmet gästas också av Raymond Björling. Barnbarn till Jussi. Även han har starka minnen från en barndom som han beskriver som ett krig mellan sin far Rolf Björling och Jussis fru Anna-Lisa. Programledare är Björn Ranelid. Producent: Anna Berg.
