The Istari were never young and aged only slowly; Alan and Shawn will have to settle for only one of those two. Join The Man of the West and The Lord of the Mark as they continue their three-part study of The Istari from Unfinished Tales. The Valar hold a council meeting to help make up for ancient errors; Olórin would prefer to say no to the promotion; and Legolas is called out for underachievement. We speculate about the Blues' street-wizard lifestyle, wonder about second jottings, and think Morrissey would have made a great Black Wizard. Also: send Thufir, not Duncan. The discussion dives deep into the mystical afterlife of Middle Earth, exploring whether dwarves, elves, and men share the same fate after their epic adventures. For a very special bonus segment following our exclusive episode on our website, Will Rose, joined by our favortie Tolkien Heads Tripp Fuller and Nick Polk, tackle the intriguing questions about what lies beyond the Grey Havens, and which dwarven clan they'd prefer to join. With a blend of thoughtful insights and witty banter, they navigate the complexities of Tolkien's universe, debating the afterlife and the potential for dwarven reincarnation while keeping it light-hearted and fun. This bonus segment, a special treat for the audience, is part of the Faces Behind Us series, designed to entice new listeners to join the Systematic Geekology community as official members on our website. So, grab your favorite drink and settle in for a whimsical journey through the realms of Tolkien's creations! Gather 'round, fellow geekologists, because this podcast episode gets down and dirty with the nitty-gritty of Tolkien lore, diving into the afterlives of Middle-Earth's most beloved races: dwarves, elves, and men. Will Rose leads the charge with his trusty Tolkien heads, Tripp Fuller and Nick Polk, as they tackle some juicy bonus questions that any true Tolkien fan would be itching to dive into. First up on the agenda is the question of what happens to these races after the grand saga of the Lord of the Rings wraps up. Do they all end up in the same afterlife, or do they take separate paths? Nick offers a hot take, suggesting that since these characters intertwined their fates in life, why wouldn't they share the afterlife too? It's a thought-provoking discussion that weaves in both the philosophical and the theological, as they draw parallels to C.S. Lewis's musings on pets in heaven, creating a delightful blend of humor and insight. Then, the trio transitions to explore the fate of the dwarves post-Rings. Tripp, with his usual charismatic flair, spins a narrative about Gimli's adventures in the glittering caves—a hidden treasure of Middle-Earth that becomes a Dwarven paradise. They imagine a reality show where Gimli leads the charge in transforming these caves into a dwarven resort, complete with all the bling and glory worthy of Durin's folk. It's not just a whimsical idea but also a testimony to the rich tapestry of relationships and interactions between these races, showcasing how the camaraderie forged in battle translates into a shared legacy of creation and beauty. The banter flows freely, with plenty of laughs and clever remarks, as they speculate on the dwarves' role in rebuilding the world after the darkness of Sauron fades. As the bonus segment winds down, Will, Tripp, and Nick engage in a light-hearted debate over what makes a great dwarven realm to visit, with the glittering caves taking center stage. The imagery is vivid as they discuss the potential for these caverns to not only be stunning but also a cultural hub for dwarves looking to kick back and share stories of their legendary past. Their enthusiasm is infectious, and listeners are left feeling like they've just sat in on a lively pub discussion full of flair, insights, and a touch of nostalgia for the world Tolkien created. If there's one takeaway from this episode, it's that the connections formed in Middle-Earth resonate deeply beyond the pages of books, inviting fans to imagine a shared afterlife where friendship and legacy continue to thrive.Takeaways:Will, Tripp, and Nick dive into the afterlife of Middle Earth, raising speculative questions about where dwarves, elves, and men end up post-LOTR.The trio engages in a light-hearted debate about which dwarven clan they would choose to join, revealing their personal preferences and humorous insights. They explore the concept of whether the different races in Tolkien's world share the same afterlife, hinting at deeper connections forged through their adventures. The conversation flows into the idea that Gimli's friendship with Legolas symbolizes unity among races, even extending into the afterlife, which is a sweet thought.Tripp shares his theory that dwarves, particularly through Durin's lineage, might play a significant role in the afterlife, becoming master builders in the new creation. The episode wraps up with some witty banter, leaving listeners with a sense of community and a desire to explore more of Tolkien's lore together..Don't forget to get your tickets to Theology Beer Camp 2026 in Kansas City (a 50% off code is available for members on our website):https://www.eventbrite.com/e/theology-beer-camp-2026-tickets-1975196504917?utm-campaign=social&utm-content=attendeeshare&utm-medium=discovery&utm-term=listing&utm-source=cp&aff=ebdsshcopyurl.Be sure to check out our merch, find extra content, and become an official member of Systematic Geekology on our website:https://systematic-geekology-shop.fourthwall.com/.Check out this year's annual theme, "The Faces Behind Us":https://player.captivate.fm/collection/dd903597-98be-49ed-998c-5cdaf73b6af4.Listen to all of our episodes on Middle Earth:https://player.captivate.fm/collection/7bdc3a47-0c58-40f1-88da-9f14079772f7.Don't miss any of Will's episodes:https://player.captivate.fm/collection/4559ab55-4b6a-4432-b0a7-b61540df8803.Listen to other episodes with great guests like Tripp and Nick:https://player.captivate.fm/collection/0d46051e-3772-49ec-9e2c-8739c9b74cdeMentioned in this episode:Check out our Fourthwall site for quite literally everything to do with our show! All SG merch, extra content, our youtube page, SG memberships, tips / donations, etc. can all be found at this one convenient spot!SG on FourthwallThe Anazao Podcast NetworkBe sure to check out the network website to see other podcasts trying to engage honestly with Scripture, Theology, Pop Culture, Martial Arts, Science, and more!Anazao Podcast NetworkSystematic GeekologyOur show focuses around our favorite fandoms that we discuss from a Christian perspective. Merry and Pippin are hobbitnapped, Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli meet up with a refined Gandalf the white who sweeps them into a war while Frodo and Sam are led by Gollum through the swamps. They meet Faramir, Boromir's brother who has wisdom that Boromir lacked.“War must be, while we defend our lives against a destroyer who would devour all; but I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only what they defend.”There are a plethora of powerful quotes! Have you ever stared at your D&D character sheet, wondering if you picked the right fighting style, and suddenly felt like someone out there was judging you? That's because they were—and it was your DM, silently counting how many times you could've picked Defense instead of Dueling. But worry not, because in this episode, we're unlocking your character's true martial potential faster than a fighter can Action Surge after a long rest. Join the RPGBOT Patreon Want to hear Tyler, Randall, and Ash critique character builds in real-time, or maybe even share your hottest takes live? Join the RPGBOT Patreon today. You'll get ad-free episodes, access to live recordings, bonus content, and maybe even the secret to getting the most out of the Two-Weapon Fighting style without regretting your life choices. Show Notes In this episode of the RPGBOT.Podcast, the hosts take a deep dive into fighting styles in Dungeons & Dragons, unpacking how these choices can optimize your martial build and define your character's combat identity. They explore the classic styles available to Fighters, Rangers, and Paladins, and evaluate how each style synergizes with class features, feats, and weapon choices—especially in the new landscape of D&D 2024. They analyze popular choices like Dueling, Great Weapon Fighting, Archery, Defense, and why Protection either makes you the party MVP or the target of everyone's complaints. Along the way, they offer practical advice on build planning, weapon synergies, narrative flavor, and how fighting styles impact your role in combat and the party dynamic. Whether you're building a min-maxed Fighter, a divine smiting machine Paladin, or a bow-wielding Ranger with dreams of Legolas-tier accuracy, this episode arms you with the knowledge to bring out your character's best in the battlefield. Key Takeaways Fighting styles are a crucial decision point for martial characters like Fighters, Paladins, and Rangers in Dungeons & Dragons, defining your combat specialty. Different styles fit different builds and playstyles. Archery is amazing for ranged builds, while Dueling and Great Weapon Fighting shine for melee smiters and strikers. Some fighting styles synergize with specific feats or class features, especially in D&D 2024 where changes may affect how much value you get from styles like Two-Weapon Fighting. Optimization matters—Defense may look boring, but +1 AC goes a long way in making your character survivable, especially at low levels. Don't forget the roleplaying opportunities: the story behind your fighting style can give your character depth beyond combat efficiency. Loved this conversation about martial mastery? Hexblades, Tattoos, and AI—Oh My! The Unearthed Arcana Subclass Roast Begins! This episode of the RPGBOT.Podcast is sponsored by our friends at DungeonFlow.app — the fastest way to go from “I have five minutes to prep” to “My players think I'm a genius.” Generate dungeons, traps, room descriptions, and now combat encounters with just a few clicks. It's like having a magical AI intern that doesn't eat your snacks or argue about flanking rules. Check it out today! In this episode, the RPGBOT crew puts on their wizard hats and dives face-first into the latest batch of Unearthed Arcana content from Wizards of the Coast. What's on the menu? A buffet of subclasses that range from “pretty okay” to “who let this out of playtesting?” The team kicks things off by discussing the role of AI in gaming, including its growing influence, its potential for humor, and whether it can generate a subclass that doesn't suck (spoiler: jury's still out). Then, the hosts dive into some of the new arcane-themed subclass options currently in public playtest. From the Arcana Domain Cleric's handy new toolkit to the Arcane Archer's complete renovation (now with fewer reasons to cry), they explore the good, the bad, and the “seriously, why does the Tattooed Warrior Monk need a short rest for this?” They also take aim at the Ancestral Sorcery subclass, which is trying to make "spiritual déjà vu" a core mechanic. Meanwhile, everyone wrestles with the realization that the once-iconic Hexblade may have lost its edge (both literally and figuratively). Finally, the crew speculates wildly (as tradition demands) about future D&D releases, including whether Elminster is due for a gritty reboot and if spellcasters can finally just have one subclass that doesn't explode under scrutiny. Unearthed Arcana: Arcane Subclasses Content from RPGBOT.net UA: Arcane Subclasses Review Key Takeaways: AI in TTRPGs can enhance gameplay—and jokes—when used well. The Arcana Domain Cleric gets quality-of-life boosts that feel earned and fun. Arcane Archer is no longer just sad Legolas with homework; resource management changes help a lot. Tattooed Warrior Monk has style points but flops on execution—it's got big “cool tattoo, bro” energy with little payoff. Ancestral Sorcery adds flavor but not much else—do sorcerers really need more ancestry? Balancing class features is hard, but essential to avoid power creep or boredom. The Hexblade, once a fan favorite, now feels more like “that guy who peaked in 5E launch week.” Passive features are fine, but active abilities are what keep players engaged. Concentration mechanics continue to frustrate spellcasters everywhere. (Can we please have a nap?) Player feedback is shaping the next generation of D&D—keep yelling (constructively). The crew remains hopeful about future releases, including a potential return to iconic characters like Elminster. Want a second helping of subclass critiques and wizard-fueled speculation? Chapter 4 - TreebeardQ1 - Do you think the God of Middle Earth is causing all these things to happen?‘Hm, but you are hasty folk, I see,' said Treebeard. ‘I am honoured by your confidence; but you should not be too free all at once. There are Ents and Ents, you know; or there are Ents and things that look like Ents but ain't, as you might say. I'll call you Merry and Pippin, if you please – nice names. For I am not going to tell you my name, not yet at any rate.' A queer half-knowing, half-humorous look came with a green flicker into his eyes. ‘For one thing it would take a long while: my name is growing all the time, and I've lived a very long, long time; so my name is like a story. Real names tell you the story of the things they belong to in my language, in the Old Entish as you might say. It is a lovely language, but it takes a very long time to say anything in it, because we do not say anything in it, unless it is worth taking a long time to say, and to listen to.Q2 - What do you think of Treebeard and Ents?Q3 - Where are the Entwives? There is naught that an old Ent can do to hold back that storm: he must weather it or crack.‘I think that I now understand what he is up to. He is plotting to become a Power. He has a mind of metal and wheels; and he does not care for growing things, except as far as they serve him for the moment. And now it is clear that he is a black traitor. He has taken up with foul folk, with the Orcs. Brm, hoom! Worse than that: he has been doing something to them; something dangerous. For these Isengarders are more like wicked Men. It is a mark of evil things that came in the Great Darkness that they cannot abide the Sun; but Saruman's Orcs can endure it, even if they hate it. I wonder what he has done? Are they Men he has ruined, or has he blended the races of Orcs and Men? That would be a black evil!'Q4 - How did Saruman fall, and what do you think is the Great Darkness?Q5 - What do you think of the Entmoot and the march on Isenguard?Chapter 5 - The White Rider‘We have journeyed a long way round,' said Legolas. ‘We could have all come here safe together, if we had left the Great River on the second or third day and struck west. Few can foresee whither their road will lead them, till they come to its end.'Q1 - What did you think about the Gandalf reveal?‘What then shall I say?' said Gandalf, and paused for a while in thought. ‘This in brief is how I see things at the moment, if you wish to have a piece of my mind as plain as possible. The Enemy, of course, has long known that the Ring is abroad, and that it is borne by a hobbit. He knows now the number of our Company that set out from Rivendell, and the kind of each of us. But he does not yet perceive our purpose clearly. He supposes that we were all going to Minas Tirith; for that is what he would himself have done in our place. And according to his wisdom it would have been a heavy stroke against his power. Indeed he is in great fear, not knowing what mighty one may suddenly appear, wielding the Ring, and assailing him with war, seeking to cast him down and take his place. That we should wish to cast him down and have no one in his place is not a thought that occurs to his mind. That we should try to destroy the Ring itself has not yet entered into his darkest dream. In which no doubt you will see our good fortune and our hope. For imagining war he has let loose war, believing that he has no time to waste; for he that strikes the first blow, if he strikes it hard enough, may need to strike no more. So the forces that he has long been preparing he is now setting in motion, sooner than he intended. Wise fool. For if he had used all his power to guard Mordor, so that none could enter, and bent all his guile to the hunting of the Ring, then indeed hope would have faded: neither Ring nor bearer could long have eluded him. But now his eye gazes abroad rather than near at home; and mostly he looks towards Minas Tirith. Very soon now his strength will fall upon it like a storm.Q2 - Does Sauron really not think they are trying to destroy the ring??‘Wait a minute!' cried Gimli. ‘There is another thing that I should like to know first. Was it you, Gandalf, or Saruman that we saw last night?' ‘You certainly did not see me,' answered Gandalf, ‘therefore I must guess that you saw Saruman. Evidently we look so much alike that your desire to make an incurable dent in my hat must be excused.'Q3 - Did they really see Saruman?Q4 - What do you think of this Saruman plan?We fought far under the living earth, where time is not counted. Ever he clutched me, and ever I hewed him, till at last he fled into dark tunnels. They were not made by Durin's folk, Gimli son of Glo´in. Far, far below the deepest delvings of the Dwarves, the world is gnawed by nameless things. Even Sauron knows them not. Q5 - Thoughts on Gandalf's fight with the Balrog?Q6 - What do you think Galadriel's message meant to the trio?Where now are the Du´nedain, Elessar, Elessar? Why do thy kinsfolk wander afar? Near is the hour when the Lost should come forth, And the Grey Company ride from the North. But dark is the path appointed for thee: The Dead watch the road that leads to the Sea. To Legolas she sent this word: Legolas Greenleaf long under tree In joy thou hast lived. Beware of the Sea! If thou hearest the cry of the gull on the shore, Thy heart shall then rest in the forest no more.' Gandalf fell silent and shut his eyes. ‘Then she sent me no message?' said Gimli and bent his head. ‘Dark are her words,' said Legolas, ‘and little do they mean to those that receive them.' ‘That is no comfort,' said Gimli. ‘What then?' said Legolas. ‘Would you have her speak openly to you of your death?' ‘Yes, if she had naught else to say.' ‘What is that?' said Gandalf, opening his eyes. ‘Yes, I think I can guess what her words may mean. Your pardon, Gimli! I was pondering the messages once again. But indeed she sent words to you, and neither dark nor sad. ‘ ‘‘To Gimli son of Glo´in,'' she said, ‘‘give his Lady's greeting. Lockbearer, wherever thou goest my thought goes with thee. But have a care to lay thine axe to the right tree!'' ' ‘In happy hour you have returned to us, Gandalf,' cried the Dwarf, capering as he sang loudly in the strange dwarf-tongue. ‘Come, come!' he shouted, swinging his axe. ‘Since Gandalf's head is now sacred, let us find one that it is right to cleave!'Chapter 6 - The King of the Golden HallQ1 - What are your thoughts on Erodas?Q2 - What are your thoughts on Wormtongue?Q3 - Was there spellwork over Theoden?

Chapter 1 - The Departure of BoromirHe turned from the North back again to North, and saw nothing save the distant hills, unless it were that far away he could see again a great bird like an eagle high in the air, descending slowly in wide circles down towards the earth.Q1 - What, if any, symbolism is there with the Eagles?Q2 - Why does Aragorn always shout Elendil?‘Farewell, Aragorn! Go to Minas Tirith and save my people! I have failed.' ‘No!' said Aragorn, taking his hand and kissing his brow. ‘You have conquered. Few have gained such a victory. Be at peace! Minas Tirith shall not fall!' Boromir smiled. ‘Which way did they go? Was Frodo there?' said Aragorn. But Boromir did not speak again.Q3 - What do you think about Boromir's passing?Q4 - Is Aragorn making the right decision?Chapter 2 - The Riders of Rohan‘I think that the enemy brought his own enemy with him,' answered Aragorn. ‘These are Northern Orcs from far away. Among the slain are none of the great Orcs with the strange badges. There was a quarrel, I guess: it is no uncommon thing with these foul folk. Maybe there was some dispute about the road.'Q1 - What do you think their quarrel was about?Q2 - These chapters keep mentioning this West Wind for Gondor…what is that about?Q3 - How tense was this chapter with the chase…Q4 - What is the deal with Saruman poisoning the land or their journey?Gimli rose and planted his feet firmly apart: his hand gripped the handle of his axe, and his dark eyes flashed. ‘Give me your name, horse-master, and I will give you mine, and more besides,' he said. ‘As for that,' said the Rider, staring down at the Dwarf, ‘the stranger should declare himself first. Yet I am named E´omer son of E´omund, and am called the Third Marshal of Riddermark.' ‘Then E´omer son of E´omund, Third Marshal of Riddermark, let Gimli the Dwarf Glo´in's son warn you against foolish words. You speak evil of that which is fair beyond the reach of your thought, and only little wit can excuse you.' E´omer's eyes blazed, and the Men of Rohan murmured angrily, and closed in, advancing their spears. ‘I would cut off your head, beard and all, Master Dwarf, if it stood but a little higher from the ground,' said E´omer. ‘He stands not alone,' said Legolas, bending his bow and fitting an arrow with hands that moved quicker than sight. ‘You would die before your stroke fell.'Q5 - Don't insult Galadriel around Gimli.‘Halflings!' laughed the Rider that stood beside E´omer. ‘Halflings! But they are only a little people in old songs and children's tales out of the North. Do we walk in legends or on the green earth in the daylight?'Q6 - What do you think of Eomer and his disbelief that Hobbits are real? Some years ago the Lord of the Black Land wished to purchase horses of us at great price, but we refused him, for he puts beasts to evil use. Then he sent plundering Orcs, and they carry off what they can, choosing always the black horses: few of these are now left. For that reason our feud with the Orcs is bitter.Q7 - So the men of Rohan, have NOT been selling horses to Sauron?Chapter 3 - The Uruk-HaiHe cut the thongs round Pippin's legs and ankles, picked him up by his hair and stood him on his feet. Pippin fell down, and Uglu´k dragged him up by his hair again. Several Orcs laughed. Uglu´k thrust a flask between his teeth and poured some burning liquid down his throat: he felt a hot fierce glow flow through him. The pain in his legs and ankles vanished. He could stand.Q1 - What is this stuff? When he had forced a drink from his flask down the hobbit's throat, cut his leg-bonds, and dragged him to his feet, Merry stood up, looking pale but grim and defiant, and very much alive. The gash in his forehead gave him no more trouble, but he bore a brown scar to the end of his days. ‘Hullo, Pippin!' he said. ‘So you've come on this little expedition, too? Where do we get bed and breakfast?'Q2 - Is Merry going crazy or is he just making Pippen laugh?Q3 - There's an arrow that hits Grishnuk that is guided by fate, the book suggests…what role does fate play in the story so far?

Case and Sam are looking back at the earliest episodes of the show! Check out their thoughts on the seventeenth episode when Case sat down with Ben Milton and Addy Thomas and chatted about The Hobbit Trilogy! Overview   In the latest Podcast Discussion meeting, hosts Case and Sam explored a meta-review of their previous episode on The Hobbit trilogy, originally recorded after their first year of podcasting. The discussion began with an overview of the original episode, highlighting a consensus that three films were excessive for the source material. They praised Martin Freeman's casting as Bilbo while critiquing Peter Jackson for trying to align the film's style with The Lord of the Rings, particularly noting that the addition of the villain Azog was unnecessary. They also pointed out issues with character design and narrative structure, suggesting a two-film adaptation could have better captured character arcs and pacing, particularly with scenes involving Smaug. The Battle of Five Armies was identified as the weakest film, marred by excessive padding and a lack of personal stakes compared to earlier battles in the franchise. The hosts expressed the importance of subtlety in fan service and connections to The Lord of the Rings while reflecting on their own views from the initial episode. They concluded by sharing their love for film and announced upcoming episodes focused on Captain America and Alien Resurrection, while encouraging listener engagement through their Discord server.   Notes Introduction and Episode Context (00:00 - 09:47) Case and Sam introduce this meta-episode reviewing a previous podcast about The Hobbit trilogy The original episode featured Case, Ben, and Addie discussing at 'CPOV Studios' They note this was recorded after completing the first year of the podcast Main critique established immediately: three movies was far too many for The Hobbit source material The hosts mention they didn't rewatch the entire trilogy for this meta-review Initial Critique of The Hobbit Films (09:48 - 19:09) The hosts praise Martin Freeman's casting as Bilbo as a perfect choice that connects to Elijah Wood's Frodo They criticize Peter Jackson for trying to make The Hobbit fit the style and scale of Lord of the Rings The unnecessary villain Azog (the pale orc) is identified as a major problem They note Jackson used artificial narrative structures to create three separate arcs where the source material didn't support it Discussion of how Lord of the Rings doesn't rely on personified villains, but on evil as a force ‍️ Character and Design Issues (19:09 - 28:25) The hosts criticize the framing device that has Bilbo explaining the dwarven kingdom's history They argue Bilbo should be an uninformed viewpoint character discovering the world along with the audience The dwarves' inconsistent design is highlighted as problematic (either caricatures or just normal people) They discuss how the dwarves don't feel cohesive like in Lord of the Rings and lack distinct personalities Case praises the Gollum scenes as genuinely excellent despite other issues ️ Proposed Two-Movie Structure (28:25 - 37:07) Case suggests ending the first movie at Lake Town as a natural breaking point This would create a moment where Bilbo has a true choice to continue or turn back They discuss how this cut would make Bilbo's character arc work better for the first film The second film could focus on Thorin's character arc They criticize how the actual film cuts (especially the Desolation of Smaug ending) feel like TV cliffhangers Smaug and Pacing Issues (37:07 - 46:35) The hosts praise the actual Smaug and Bilbo conversation scenes They criticize the extended Smaug chase/forge scenes as unnecessary padding Discussion of how Jackson is good at bringing book scenes to life but struggles when expanding material They propose that the second movie should open with the dwarves finding the door to the Lonely Mountain They critique the narrative weight of many extended sequences that don't actually advance the story ️ Battle of Five Armies Criticisms (46:36 - 55:45) The Battle of Five Armies is identified as the weakest film with the most padding They argue the battle should have been the third act of a movie, not an entire film Discussion of how the battle needed to feel smaller and more personal than Lord of the Rings battles They appreciate the decision to make Bilbo more active in the battle than in the book The hosts criticize the 'video game' quality of action sequences like the barrel rider scene ‍️ Fan Service and Connections to Lord of the Rings (55:45 - 01:04:58) They discuss how Legolas' inclusion made sense for the first film but was forced in later films They appreciate seeing Saruman before his fall to evil The hosts criticize heavy-handed references to Lord of the Rings (like mentioning Aragorn/Strider) They note how forcing connections to the original trilogy hurt the story Discussion of the 'video game' quality of action sequences compared to Lord of the Rings Meta-Discussion of the Episode (01:04:58 - 01:15:51) Sam and Case reflect on the original episode, finding it thorough and well-argued Sam admits not rewatching the trilogy for this meta-review as it would be too time-consuming They reaffirm that the trilogy's main problem is its excessive length Sam praises the costumes while Case notes the 48 FPS format made everything look fake They discuss how watching the entire Middle-earth saga chronologically would be challenging Final Thoughts and Upcoming Episodes (01:15:51 - 01:32:34) Case reiterates that a good two-movie cut exists within the trilogy's footage They agree the first film is the most watchable of the three Both hosts express their love for the first Captain America film (their next episode topic) Sam mentions she didn't rewatch the Hobbit films as they would take 10+ hours They provide information about their Discord server and social media presence Upcoming podcast episodes announced: Alien Resurrection and Captain America: The First Avenger Action items Join and participate in the Discord server for further discussion (01:31:00)
